Mature and Fabulous-

Well. here we are--on another rainy day--- We are alive--mature and fabulous-ready to greet this day and face whatever is in store for us-- Right???
Really---  We have no choice--do we?--

This morning I am heading to the Hair Lady-- colour for sure---  That's because, the washer --(the new washer!) will be here this afternoon and I could not leave  it to be delivered, to  Himself--so, the Lady of the house, (as you know--IS ME!) must be here. The Lady of the house does just about everything in the house--- inside , and outside--kinda crazy---- that the man she lives with does not see any house-y stuff to do---but--that is the way it is, and she just has to be thankful for "small mercies" as Mom used to say-

--Himself does cook--- (when I line up the ingredients that need cooking)--and I try to suggest stuff (which he does not really pay attention to)----but----- we manage ---- mostly---

Are you going to have a good day??--Can you make it a great day?---  It all boils down to attitude you know--Sometimes , belting out a song  helps your attitude-----a smile helps also----Sometimes breaking a few rules puts you in a better place--

We all know that  we like our happy joyful friends---
Son#2 , the Pilot is back home in Toronto---  absolutely loves his big Dreamliner--tells me there is nothing wrong with it------said  because there are a number of Pilots, he got to take a wee nap going over Greenland-- -(Imagine -napping over Greenland?)

I  must get offa here---  will check in later----

  1. Glad you will be able to manage both your hair pampering and the delivery of the washer. Good luck!

  2. It's Kathy. No more rain for us for awhile. It's a bit cloudy but not bad outside. I may venture out with Daisy again today. She loves her walks but it's hard for me with the pain I can't seem to get rid of. It was bad this morning but seems better now. My man-of-the-house doesn't seem to see what needs to be done and he's a lot younger than yours. I just think we women notice a lot more! Enjoy your time at the hairdressers and enjoy your new washing machine!

  3. Lynda, delightful blog, as usual. Love the little girl with her elephant!
I gave up coloring my hair years ago. There is only a white hair every now and then. Still mostly my medium brown with a reddish cast in certain light.
I am determined that my Sadie will get more done today than she has in the last couple days. Washer busy now, but I still have a couple loads. Sheets, towels, recliner cover, etc. Will check again in a while.
I may have to bring what's unwashed to your house and use your new washer!
Did get a couple bills paid, and called customer service regarding an app on my phone that just wouldn't work. The young lady got it all figured out in a jiffy. She was very pleasant, too. I asked to be transferred to her boss and gave her kudos. I worked in customer service most of my life. When I get a rep that is really helpful and great to interact with, I like to give a shout out. It may get them and extra bit of a raise when they get their annual review.
Weather kinda dreary today. No rain yet, though they say there's a chance. The sun is supposed to peak out this afternoon. We miss it.
I hope your washer install goes well. Hope the delivery driver takes out the old one, too.
I know you will enjoy your 'hair day.' and any errands you accomplish.
I wish for all four of you to have a great day...just like you wish for your followers. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  4. Hope you had a great Hair Day and that the new washing machine is doing what it's supposed to do! Gotta go on a grocery run, in between service visits today and tomorrow... and of course being run ragged by the energy of 11 week old (today) Ember. Angel or dervish mode, I love the little critters (cat and dog) that enrich my home, as I know you do yours!

  7. Hi Lynda, thanks for today's dose of positivity and humor.
Glad pilot is safely back. I knew you had nothing to worry about. Air Canada sure isn't going to leave people stranded. The news is full of negativity so I don't watch it.
Hoping hair day and washer delivery go well for you.
    You are fabulous and awesome.
    Hugs and blessings

  9. 👋🏻 We got a new washer not long ago. Lucky for me my DH could handle it. Boy I wasn’t sure. He had to go get new hoses and it took several days. I had to sit on my hands, bite my tongue, and be patient. It was so hard! ❤️
