Are others happy because of you?--

Good day--  no snow falling --yet--and, I hope to get out of here by 9am to go to a new hair lady-----no snow falling--yet--not predicted  also---  which is wonderful--Hope it stays that way----The above is so true --NO ONE CAN DO EVERYTHING-------  but--- everyone can do something--

Himself, Son#2 and I --  got into Peterborough yesterday to the Audiology place--They poured Molds into himself's ears for the new hearing aids--It means another trip there in a couple of weeks--but--eventually-- Hopefully --himself,  will be able to hear again--I hope!---

I am up early here  to get everything done , so I can walk to the new hairdresser----a couple of blocks away--Hopefully it is not to cold!--I am hoping that one day I will get the same hair do-----that I used to have in Elliot-- If this doesn't work to-day, I have one more  Hair Lady to try--the Lady who does hair in her home--

So, life goes on---- Praise the good Lord! ----  One tries  stuff---  sometimes it works out--sometimes one has to keep trying I guess--kinda like "downsizing"---One does it---then wonders what on earth one was ever thinking----Altho, I think I am getting more used to this move--sometimes it is  hard to adjust---other days-- it seems OK---

My brother called  yesterday-- He and his wife sold their magnificent home a few years back and appear to have adjusted very well--They travel a lot-- and will be up here this summer----  said when we lived in Elliot, it was too far for them to visit, but now, in Lakefield, which is about 12 hrs South of Elliot Lake, now they are going to come here--nice for sure!

I hear Lopez wanting out of his crate , so I must leave you all for now--  and get him up--Hang in there, where ever you are--It is a new day --  so---  we can try once again to get it right--

Later then--  Be strong--- Try to make others happy-Are you happy?-- "If you're happy and you now it--clap yer hands"-  --We used to sing that!---Funny how we remember  thoughts from our childhood--and they dance around, inside our head-  ----
Did you ever think----what if we saw "souls" --and not bodies--seeing a person's thoughts , instead of their hair -do---
                                                    Would we treat them differently?--

  1. Good morning Lynda,
I can't believe I am the first to comment. I love that you can walk to your hairdresser and your brother will be able to visit you. Sounds like a win - win!! I am very happy today- the weather is going to be warmer and I already got the upstairs bathroom clean and hubby put drops in my eyes. Hopefully I will get my walk in.
Have a great day and I would love to see pictures of your new haircut. Luv ya Bev

  2. Good morning, Lynda. You sure have a busy day. Hope it all goes well for you, and that you are happy with your 'new' hair.
Molds in Himself's ears? Never heard of that one! I may do a google search.
I am surprised that Lopez didn't wake you up. Or Sushi.
I am sure you will enjoy seeing your brother again. I am FB friends with one of my half-brothers.
It's wonderful that your son helps you go places. He is invaluable.
I tried starting my car yesterday after not doing it for several day. It wouldn't start! The dashboard had the batter light on...but the battery is only a couple months old. It's going to be warmer today, so I will try it again. I had wanted to go to the eye doctor to see what is poking into my eye and irritating it. Sigh.
Saved one meme today. You always have good ones.
Time for breakfast now. I'm really hungry. I will check back a couple times...once at least to be sure that my comment didn't disappear again. {{{HUGS}}} Love, your sis, Maggie

  3. It's Kathy. I hope all goes well with the new hair lady! We had to get up extra early this morning - the plumber was suppose to come between 8 - 8:30 am but he showed up at 7:30! I'm glad he is here getting our bathroom working again but it's very inconvenient. And I have to go to the clinic for a Prolia shot in about an hour. It's not as cold today and I do know how to drive, so I'll drive myself. But it's just difficult! Soon the day will be over and our shower will work again! Have a good day.

  4. Hi Lynda, Good morning
    Loved the inserts.
YOU make me happy whenever I see your blogs.
Pilot son is such a help, God bless him.
Ear molds are made to attach tubing to the actual aid if it's a behind the ear aid. Hoping himselfs new aids do the trick and he'll wear them.
Good luck with new hairdresser or. there's always the lady with the shop in her home and there are likely many others with shops in their homes.
How nice that your brother will visit now that you are closer to civilization lol.
Enjoy your day. Yes, I'm happy and I know it and I'm very blessed.
    Big hugs and love

  5. It IS a good day when there is no snow falling! And we even have the sun! I’ll take it.

Yes, had the ear molds made for my aides, too. Supposed to arrive on 04 February. I’ll crawl there to get ‘em if I have to! OY Glad DS #2 drove you and Himself to the audiology appt. God bless him!

Hope that your hair appointment goes well and she does a good job for you!’

WONDERFUL that your brother and SIL will come visit this summer! Another good reason to be right where you are right now.

Oh that last meme is so true! Thanks for sharing that!

  8. Hi Lynda! How was your day? Hope it was great and your hair went well. I colored mine today and was Sadie! I will be sore tomorrow but I can relax awhile now. I am happy your brother will be coming. So nice! Ohh, you decided to go yesterday to the ear doctor. Hope it wasn’t too scary on the roads. I cleaned the snow from the porch and sidewalk today. Still cold in Ohio but not as bad as it was. Enjoy your evening! Hugs!

  9. Oh, what a wonderful (and deep) concept, of seeing souls. We might be frightened if we pause to examine our own... love the thought of others being happy because of you!
