BE STRONG --or-----

Good morning y'all--I have been up for awhile but am going out to sweep the snow off the car and will return as soon as you can say, "Johnny Robinson""--Meanwhile-something to think about--I saw the below meme--thought it interesting--- "I'm just me"-----kinda interesting---no excuses made for any actions yu have lived thru in your life---because you (WE) are not perfect--just because yu are "YOU"!-----------------------------------------Back again-- but a few hours later--

The above is a picture sent from Son#2 of the sky in the early morning--from his window on the plane--

his Schnitzel dinner---
and his seat (I guess ) on the plane when he is not  flying the plane--

Back again--but --a  few hours later   --Meanwhile I shovelled off the car--plus all round the car--plus the neighbours spot--(who live in Lindsay, but rented the place next to us as their 2 children go to the  Private school here in Lakefield-)-and Lindsay is too far for them to drive everyday--
As you all know, I am an experienced Shoveler!

So , Do you feel incredibly Awesome to-day?--You are you know!
No matter what happens in my day, I try so hard to not feel old and worn out---But----If by chance you ARE feeling that way, make darn sure you are not sitting very near the curb--particularly on Garbage Day---

--Teasing----  but-----
BE STRONG

  1. It's Kathy. I do feel kind of old today but I'm fighting it. I will definitely not sit on the curb by the garbage can! I'm not a fan of the AARP Driver's class because they talk to us like we're not smart enough to understand our own limits! With all my surgeries, some days I just don't feel like I'm strong enough to deal with the traffic - then I ask my husband to drive! But it does save us some money and there are occasionally some pieces of new information that didn't exist in the stone ages when I learned to drive! Yes, we must stay strong. It's very nice of you to help your neighbor, and it's good exercise to shovel as long as you don't over do! Have a great day!

  2. LOVE that photo from out his window. And that schnitzel . . . . OMG. Looks so delicious.

For sure, you never retire from being incredibly awesome, as you are! BWAHAHAHA! Yes, on those tired days, never sit on the curb, especially on garbage collection day! LOL

Hugs and have a good weekend.

  3. Lynda, I really admire you for your "can do" spirit. You are not one to just sit around and do nothing. So considerate of you to clear off the neighbor's spot while doing your own. I hope Lopez did his business this morning. Has Sushi adjusted to her new environment? Does she have a spot that she can look out a window? I hope Himself is in a good mood today. Since you've moved you have not mentioned sitting down to play the piano. I hope you're still doing it. You asked if I'm near any of the fires. I'm not, but with the wind, there is smoke and ashes falling.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Maureen from California.

  5. Lynda, that last comment about the curb is hilarious! The only reason I'd be on a curb is in a short skirt, low neck top and spike heels...lots of makeup and cologne...
The photos from your son are awesome. You must have a million, but I'm sure you don't get tired of getting more.
Your wonderful as always...but shoveling your neighbor's spot makes you even more so.
I did on line shopping for JoAnne earlier. Walmart put in on my debit card. Later I will go to the ATM and get the $ from hers. Also took 'Becca to pick up her prescription. It is satisfying to help others.
Tonight Jo and I are determined to go to karaoke. I probably won't stay as long as she will. Someone will bring her home. Everyone loves her there.
It's a tiny bit warmer today, but still below freezing. There's to snow, though.
Thanks for the address. I will get your books to you soon. The second in the series is coming out sometime this month.
Later, sis. Have a wonderful day! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  7. Hi Lynda, I liked all the inserts. I'm definitely just me and I'm OK with that.

Thanks....I won't go near the curb on trash day. That's funny.

The view out of pilots window is very cool. Love it.

The schnitzel dinner looks amazing. How does son stay slim with all these fascinating foods. Maybe he works out at a gym when he's not flying.

Are you missing snow shoveling? You seem to be shoveling out your car pretty often. How kind of you to shovel neighbors space. Have you met the Elliot Lake neighbors yet. I agree...get to know neighbors so you can help each other.

It's above freezing here today. YAY. I shoveled yesterday's snow off the entire driveway. It's a very long driveway. I'm glad that's done.

Take care of yourself. I liked hearing that Sushi seems content at the house.

    Stay strong. You are amazing!
    Love, big hugs and blessings

  8. LOL! This is "just me" sitting nowhere near the garbage can on trash day. Your entry made me smile today! Isn't it nice you only have to sweep off the car, and not do all the heavy shoveling?

  9. Love the photo Son #2 took thru the window of his plane in the early morning. It shows clearly the curve of Earth - that it is not flat. As a teacher, I see it as a great educational tool 😊 Carol in FL
