AFFIRMATIONS FOR THIS DAY-----

Good Day to you all---Sunshine and cold temperatures outside-and we had snow overnight---I had to go out and shovel off the car--Poor car-out in the elements--

It is important that we have a Doctor in this area, so I have registered -called--811 and someone said they will call us back in the next 3 days  with info on a Dr--had to take our name off our old Dr's roster--I know in Canada , there is a waiting list for getting the care of a Doctor--

-So many rules--plus--I need an Opthamologist ---So----not much more to tell you all, except I hope that you are living your life in the best way ever!----"-keeping your chin up" as Dad used to always tell me---not let the  crazies get you down---Everyday is full of new experiences--I hope that to-day is a good day for each of you--
AND---remember ---

  1. It's Kathy. I hope you do get that call back within 3 days. Seems like an unusual system, having to be approved to have a doctor. But I suppose I've been spoiled all my life. I've been with the same clinic since my twins were born in 1982 - had a couple of different doctors and, of course, there have been many specialists. I hope your weekend is a calm one - that's my goal!

  2. Hi Lynda, I would not like a system that I would make me wait to get on a doctor's list, particularly as a Senior Citizen. It seems very strange. I hope your day is going well and that Himself still feels happy to be living in the apartment with Matt nearby. Hopefully Lopez is becoming more acclimated to his new surroundings. Take good care of yourself Lynda.

    1. I do not like this system either--I wish it was different--- I think it is because of the DR. Shortage in Canada right now-- =_I hope that our wait is not too long--Lynda

  3. Hi Lynda! Snowy and cold in Ohio! I am 40 minutes from Allison so I bet she tells you. Gosh, I had thought about you not having a garage now. That’s too bad. I was going to shovel but it is too cold. My Minnesota husband can get the snowblower out when he gets home from work. He thinks this is a Minnesota Spring. LOL! Gosh, hope we all have a good year. When my mom left Ohio to go back home to WV after the holidays, her house had been broken into. It’s been a lot for me to deal with and the first night I did not sleep at all. Last night was better. She is staying at a friend’s house. Just horrible! Hoping each day is getting easier for you. Hugs!

  4. Hi Lynda, thanks for the update. I appreciate that you take time to check in.
Great affirmations. Great inserts. Gotta love the cow 😁
Im glad you at least are expecting to get a call back in 3 days on new Dr. Hope that happens. Weird system but that's how it works. If you don't get a call back, I assume you call again. Primary care physicians are in short supply in the states too.
It's very cold in St.Louis and we are awaiting a major snow/ice event starting Saturday night continuing through Monday. News has been advising us for days. The grocery store was awful with everyone preparing to stay in for a while and panic buying. I pray the power stays on. Ice, wind and frigid temps are a deadly combination for power lines.
I did go to exercise class this morning. It felt good to get back in the routine.
DIL all the way to India. Quite a trip. She and son have exciting careers.
Take excellent care of you. Your home is really shaping up. GREAT JOB.
Love and big hugs from St.Louis

  5. Lynda...that precious cow! Ice cream on the hoof. Didn't you used to have a saying something like, "Don't be a grumpy cow"?
I am glad they will call you for a doctor. Too bad you can't look the local ones up on line and choose the one you want.
I have to call physical therapy Monday and get started with that again to help this DISH that is my new Dx. If I schedule therapy, I WILL go. That will get me back in the habit.
Can you choose your opthamologist, dentist, etc. or do you have to be on waiting list for all your medical professionals.
Time to meditate now, sis, and scare up something for supper. Will check here later, of course. {{{HUGS}}} to all 4 of you, Love, Maggie

  6. Hi, Lynda. Gosh, that's too bad that that nice apartment doesn't have at least a carport. My first condo had no carport or garage and I despised it. Never will go without a carport or garage again, unless I go broke, LOL. I remember a terrible winter stuck in the house with depression and not enough energy, mental or physical, to go out and scape off the thick ice that was on the windshield. Well, it's always something, I guess, that you just don't have. I moved from a two car garage to a one car, and it's very tight, with all the decorations that I like to do for all seasons. Bf helped me put all the Xmas stuff away, but I have arthritis, which flares up when I do too much. My neck did not want to move or bend last night, had a heck of a time falling asleep, and had a headache. I managed to go back to work today with a Lidocaine patch on it. Ugh. Marti

  8. Living in the United States, I know that we have a real shortage of doctors here as well...thankfully I've been with my medical group for many years; the doctors come and go, but I'm just moved to a new doctor if the old one retires or moves away. Luckily I've had good experiences with who I'm referred to. We have to find our own doctors if we don't have one, which didn't used to be difficult, but I'm sure it is now with such a shortage. I'm with an hmo, so any specialists I'm referred to so am glad for that.

It's too bad about the no garage/snow stuff. Do you get enough that it's hard to get if off in your new location?

    Happy Friday!

  9. Once again, late getting to the party... it's Saturday morning as I type. Glad for the progress you are making getting "on the list" etc. Every place has its own hoops to jump through, and we all have to live with the ones we're given, right?

Sorry about having to clear off the car, that can be a real challenge, even without having to shovel walks, drives, etc. to get to the road! I remember being much younger and without garages, having to do that. I've been thoroughly spoiled the last 25 years or so.

Now I'm starting to worry about clearing off enough space on the deck and navigating up and down those steps "when the snow comes", as it is predicted to do Saturday evening and throughout Sunday!

Wishing us all warmth in the Winter!
