Another day--another dollar--

So far--Lopez, the wee little Chihuahua, that eats everything, everywhere--is OK--I hope! --  I fed him breakfast this morning, with Pumpkin in it-- Marge , on here, told me that it may coat  the plastic thingy that he swallowed and he might pass it, if he already hasn't, which I don't think he has ---Lord love a Duck! How on earth can a wee tiny guy like Lopez cause so much worry--?

Yesterday I "freaked out" all day---worrying ---(but Lopez didn't seem to be worrying)---- I finally called the vet's office who told me as long as he is eating and pooping, he probably was OK---  but--to call them if he became lethargic- Well!---He was far from Lethargic! --He was a little "rip snorter"! ---

So, we have snow in the air--maybe on the ground by this evening---  My face is healing--after taking the wrong eye drops for a very long time--- and I have a call in to get a pressure check on my eyes  sorta soon--- with the new drops--- Lordy New--  My eyes certainly have been a problem!

So, for to-day, I am offa here--I must get on that Dreadmill sometime this morning-- 10 minutes does make a different with "the shaky leg syndrome" which happens with a lack of exercise on my part. 10 minutes  of exercise really helps one sleep peacefully---also, not overeating---  a big deal !--

For now, Lopez is crying--  I shall see y'all to-morrow--

  1. Why that little rip snorter indeed! When Miss Lilly was younger she’d eat lava rocks. OY! She always ‘passed them’ but it was a chore to try to keep her from eating them! Hope the ‘outcome’ is good for Lopez!

  2. Little rip shorter made me laugh. He's something. Hoping he's ok and all ends well teehee.
Glad new drops are an improvement.
Enjoy your alone time on the dreadmill. These days you don't have much alone time.
Does Lopez like it when you play the piano?
    Have a blessed day. Hugs

  3. I hope the tiny tot will poop out that piece, and all will be fine! Get some time to yourself, can you read a magazine or book?

  4. Sorry Lopez ate something he should not of. They can gobble up stuff quicker than you can blink your eye. Hope he does "poop" it out and all is well.

  5. Hope Lopez is OK and you know that dogs will eat anything and everything! Fletcher sees or smells things long before we can begin to know they are there. Our worry is bones which he picks up on our walks. Bet Lopez will be just fine! And keep on walking!

  7. Sounds like Lopez should be ok. He will probably poop it out today. I agree with the vet. When they stop eating you know there is an issue. Good luck and hope the snow doesn't come yet!

  9. Precious Lopez is wanting attention! Did he ring the bell lately?

My eye appointment was cancelled...by the Mayo Clinic. No notice to me...I showed up for it. I am awaiting a call from a local clinic to get the appointment with them. Can't do it at the VA...they are booked for months.

This afternoon I will get my covid booster.

    I know you figured out the little guy's issue. Hope he keeps behaving for you! {{{HUGS}}}

  10. It really sounds as though Lopez is alright and that's good to hear.

I was using the wrong drops in my eyes too but thankfully I've got the right one now. Sure does make a difference.

Hugs to all of you Lynda and I hope you don't get a lot of that snow!

  11. Pumpkin is completely fiber. It clings an sticks to things going through Lopez's system. A vet told me about this decades ago.

  12. Cayenne will eat corn cobs, if you leave them around after eating the corn from them. It really is scary, because they can cause blockages.

Hope everything, *ahem* comes out ok for Lopez 😉

  18. Woke up to a good covering of snow this morning but it gradually melted as the day went on. Saw another big flock of geese scooting across the sky today. Seems like winter is just around the corner.
