The Queen and I might share ideas!

It's Sunday----Lord love a Duck! --And it's sunny--and not too cold--- and I am alive!---  I have not lost any more weight-- but I know it will come.  187.5 I think I weighed the last time I checked!

--And we now have snow tires on our vehicle ---thanks to son #3--and I appreciate him doing it so much, I decided that I will give him a couple of pictures which I painted years ago---  the one of the house we used to live in, and him and his brother fishing--SO--I called him, offered the paintings to him, and he said "yes" --that he would like them---  No use holding onto everything in this house as one day --well, you know! --So, it's kinda nice to ask the kids what they want and know where it will be---

So, I'm babbling away here-- and of course, I'm late posting--but--  well, you all know about the clocks---- so, that  was what I was doing--  and because I collect clocks, there are wayeeeeee too many chiming clocks, and they all had to be set -I keep asking the kids if they want to "give a clock a home"--- but they all refuse.

Little Lopez is on Day #3 of doing his business outside, WITH NO ACCIDENTS---- He is still confined to the kitchen (which is now his nursery)----  I don't trust him in the rest of the house yet--- but, I am beginning to feel there is now "HOPE"--He is a sweet little guy but so so much work---

I wonder if the Queen "castle trains" her puppies?  She seems to own a lot of Corgis and they must  need to go outside. One day, when I get slim,-----slimmer----  I must write her --- There is so much that we just might have in common, doncha think?

  2. Glad you got your tires on!! Thats neat that your son wanted your paintings...thats special. I'm happy he will appreciate them.
Yes I thought about you resetting all your clocks this morning. Maybe the kids will change their minds and take a clock or two lol.
Good news on Lopez. He's making progress.
The Queen has someone to castle train her Corgis. I do think she'd enjoy hearing from you.
Have a great day. Extra pets for Beau Sushi and Lopez.

  3. Absolutely, give away what you can spare while you have the opportunity to view it in its new, well-appreciated home! Great idea about your paintings!! Little Lopez will develop into a stellar family member, just wait!! Hugs, Eissa7

  4. I also ask family if they are interested in some of the things that are important to me. If I'm not ready to give it away yet I have a paper where I list who will get it. Nice to hear that Lopez is doing better. Have a great Sunday.

  7. I agree with passing on items. Yesterday was my birthday, I am 83 now. My family was home and had a party for me. I had a gold pendant watch that my Mom's Mother gave her when she made her Confirmation around 1915. She told me some day she hoped my Daughter would get it. So yesterday I passed it down to my Daughter, I hope she cherishes it like my Mother and I did.

  10. Awesome that your son put the tires on for you.....as for the Queen, if
you take a notion you should go ahead and write her.....after all, she is 95 years young. I read the other day, since she had the short hospital stay, she has not ridden her horse around the Gardens (at the castle)..... Truthfully I was hoping she would bypass Charles and name William King in waiting.....since Charles is not too popular and that homely thing he married.................sorry, I dither.........

  11. I am soooo glad your son put your snows on. I was worried about you waiting to mid December because someone else didn't have time! Little Lopez is doing good. He is so cute and is probably partly responsible for you losing the weight. Yay Lopez.

  12. It's great you have snow tires. I don't but have "Heet" to put in the gas tank when I fill us in near/under freezing temps.

Lopez is still adorable. Maybe with a couple days of no accidents, you will let him back in the dining room again...maybe even further.

    I am sure you and the Queen have lots in common. It seems you and I do, too. Do you suppose I should call myself a queen? {{{HUGS}}}

  13. A letter from grandma would be a wonderful treasure . And maybe a clock for each grandchild too .
I have found similar weight loss happening since the loss of Spark People in Canada. I think I just needed something to shake up my reliance on the website and start to apply what I had learned over the past 11 years with confidence. To date, total weight loss is 97 pounds with 30 more till a healthy bmi.

  14. Enjoyed your blog yesterday and today. It is so nice to have grown children that help with things like tires and raking leaves.
Yay to Lopez for catching on to what it is you expect of him. I hope Himself is doing better.
    Have a great tomorrow.

  15. Have to be thankful for those days that are sunny, not too cod and we’re alive!

So nice that your son got those snow tires on your car and that he took those special painting! Precious memories!

Well, good for little Lopez! He’s learning. And there IS hope! And yes, it IS a lotta work! BUT they’re worth the effort.

LOL! I have a feeling that the castle training experience wasn’t/isn’t quite the same for the Queen! But it’s fun to dream!
