So, --Lopez has made it outside to do his business --twice this AM--- Beau too--It's foggy--- no snow predicted, at least for to-day--Last evening, I read in the Prevention Magazine, that if you want to live to be 100, walking outdoors will help--so, I guess I shall Hoof it out to the highway and back.
Son #2, the Pilot, is winging his way back home--will be flying over our house (well, pretty close to it) soon------I'm always happy when he is back on the ground- -
- Himself and I were at McDonalds last evening---(our night out on the town)---and wonders of all wonders, my weight is the same this AM--no gain---Lord love a Duck!
I always am so happy that I didn't land on this earth, as a cow---munching, and walking around in a field , chewing grass all day, with a whole lot of stomachs. (Doesn't a cow have more than one stomach?)--Think of how difficult the poor cow would have, trying to lose weight!---Lord love a duck!
It seems that Lopez is doing better every day. (Thank goodness) We really must enjoy each day and treat everyone the way we want to be treated. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteIt is sunny and warm here, suppose to be in the 70's today but only going to be in the 50's tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Wednesday
Hooray for our little Lopez! It will be 'hit & miss' for a while but it does sound as though he's getting it, Lynda.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are that living in Canada is living the dream and I'm so glad that I do live here. I think of other countries and feel sad for them.
We're only going through life once, so let's do it right!
Hugs to you, Fred and the pets.
Hi Lynda! Yay for Lopez! Good dog! Finally trained almost. I think I will be able to post today. It seems like I can if I am on my lap top.
ReplyDeleteGlad that Lopez and Beau made it outside to do their business.
ReplyDeleteSafe flying to Son #2!
Living in the here and now!
Hugs

Wishing you well, you don’t need to be a fantasy Queen, you are no actress, you are lucky to live a good life. Enjoy it all. Hope this winter does nothing unusual.
ReplyDeleteLopez is doing pretty good overall. Hooray to him and to Beau for putting up with all the changes. You did great for going to McDonalds. Keep up the good work and get that walk in!
ReplyDeleteSounds good about that cow!!! Glad you enjoyed McDs!!
ReplyDeleteYou are a Queen and living a very good life
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs to you and Fred. Extra pets for Sushi who now ventures downstairs and for Beau and Lopez. Sure hope Lopez gets IT soon. Yes, I'm glad I'm not a cow. Off to get our walks in. Stay positive,Grateful and well. Hugs
Sounds like good advice from Prevention magazine - I used to love that one. I'm debating about taking Daisy today, can't go until after 2 pm and rain is on it's way with possible snow by tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your chat. Thanks for the reminder "Someday is today". So today I will do one thing that I promised myself I would do someday.
ReplyDeleteAlso just a note: Today is our 65th Wedding Anniversary.
The scale seems to have made some peace with you. Yay! Onward!
ReplyDeleteI believe a cow does have more than one stomach. They regurgitate their food, chew their cud and I think the food then goes to another stomach. Cheesh. Can you tell I watch The Incredible Dr. Pol?
ReplyDeleteMickey D's used to be a treat for me, too. Hope you enjoyed that sugar on your fries ;-) {{{HUGS}}}
Sounds like Lopez is having a good day! Woo Hoo Lopez and AMEN to that! I thought a cow had 4 stomachs but what do I know! What I do know is they have one somach but four distinct compartments with different jobs to do. Now aren't you glad I responded to your blog! LOL
ReplyDeleteYou ARE royal as God's daughter. One day you will meet the King of all the Universe....much much better than meeting the queen here on this fallen planet. Your Father, the King, promises you every delightful thing that He's prepared for you and your family. Won't it be awesome?!
ReplyDeleteGood for Lopez and Beau....always happy when you know your kids are
ReplyDeletesafe.
How is Fred doing?
Words of wisdom! Yes, our once upon a time is now. Write your great story!
ReplyDeleteLOL cows having trouble losing weight with so many stomachs 😂 I like the way you think. Thank you for starting my day off right. ❤️😀
Mom's two pet cows in the 1920's were names Tootsie and Daisy. Tootsie wore a straw hat with custom ear holes and Daisy ate soap from the cast iron wash pot on wash day (never had any ill effects from the lye).
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I didn't end up being a cow either. I can't imaging eating what they have to eat and being stuck standing a field all day and in the cold and the heat no less. Yuck!
