A new day-new possibilities!

A new day----Monday-Monday--- and to-day , so far, --all is going well! ---It's early  but--- it feels wonderful to know that I have a brand new day--November 1st--- AND-----WE HAD SNOW SHOWERS--

-To-day, I am going to get 10 minutes on that Dreadmill--then  do some reps of weights---My arms  are looking like they don't belong to me---

I must tell yu that we now allow Lopez free rein of the kitchen and front hall--- and yesterday, there were NO accidents --so-----maybe to-morrow we can open up the  living room and dining room--well, that's the whole ground level-- I feel better about the wee fella this morning as he did well yesterday--- It sure takes a lot of perseverance to raise a puppy--(and a 93 yr old man I might add!)--

So, I'm not talking about the candy --the horrible awful Halloween candy ----To-day is a new day---a new beginning-- Lord love a Duck! ---- You know, when I was a kid, I don't remember going door too door begging for candy-- I do remember pasting my brothers playboy pictures on the outside of the neighbours windows and running  away, when I was about 12 yrs of age.  Kids get into a lot of mischief at that age I think! -

-I am offa here to  the Dreadmill----I hope everyone else did better than I, last evening--

  1. OH NO! No snow here and with that I will shut my mouth!

Sometimes I think it takes more perseverance to raise our Himself’s vs. a puppy! OY

OH MY GOSH! As my Mom would have said, you were a little hooligan! LOL Creative mischief for sure! I think we still have a little bit of it in us, even @ our ages! LOL

Sorry about the candy....maybe not buy any next time.
Yay on you and dreadmill and weights.
Good to hear Lopez is gaining freedom downstairs. Sure hope it lasts and Lopez continues to learn to do his business outside.
Does Fred like Lopez any better Yet?
    Have a great day.

  7. I’m happy to hear that Lopez is doing well! Not so good news about the snow but we are supposed to get some flurries on Wednesday. Good thing we both have our snow tires on. Good luck with the candy. We did come home with some last night as my daughter did not get that many kids coming to the door and my grandson came home with a LOT! Have a good day. 👍 ❄️

It is sunny here but it's cold only going to be in the high 50's today and weather man said we could get some snow showers later in the week.

  9. Mischief here was when I was in ninth-grade my family had moved from 15 acres outside of the edge of town to a house in a new suburb. Some of the girls in a Y-Teens club at my new school invited the new girl, me, to a slumber party. After the parents had gone to bed, the group headed for a nearby convenience store and bought many rolls of toilet paper. I was taken by surprise when they explained we were going to 'paper the trees' of the favorite football players. At lunch the next day Mom asked if I enjoyed myself with my new friends. I told here about the paper expedition -- Dad exclaimed we should go clean it up and Mom said it sounded like fun!

  10. Now that's one I never did...my brothers had lurid mags and not the classy Playboy. I still remember one cover (cartoonish) of a buxom hardly clothed woman in the jungle water with a huge boa wrapped around her. Yikes. I was 8.

  11. We bought chips instead of chocolate. Only had 19 kids so lots of chips left over but with them in 90 calorie bags at least they are portion controlled and I must say easier to stop at one bag that with one of those teeny weeny chocolate bars.

  12. Sounds like Lopez is catching on to what he is to do. That is great. Hate the snow. My appointment to get mine on is not until Thursday and it sounds like, at best, we will only get a few isolated flurries before then. I didn't get many kids so think I'll take the rest of the chocolate to a food donation bin. Have a good time working out some and hopefully Lopez will have another good day!

  13. Good job on getting on the Dreadmill and I'm so happy to hear that little Lopez had a good day yesterday. It's getting colder here but this afternoon I'm going to bundle up and take Daisy for a short walk. It still feels good to get outside. Have a great day!

  14. Gotta love the new days, don't we? Glad Lopez had a better day. Patience, that's what it takes, isn't it?

  15. Lynda, you make me laugh! You are not raising Himself...rather you are helping maintain him!

Glad Lopez is doing better. Is Sushi still coming down, too?

I ate only a couple mini candy bars yesterday while our group was playing bingo. None in my apartment at all! I'm going to Walmart, though. I will see what they have on clearance now that the holiday is over.

    Have a great week ahead...think positive like this post was! {{{HUGS}}}

  16. So glad to hear Lopez is catching on! That will help. Since you never get Trick or Treaters, you bought the stuff for you and Himself. So no guilt. Such is life. A touch of snow already. Wonder what Lopez will think?

  17. Enjoy hearing about Lopez's accomplishments and Himself. We will probably have our first frost this week in the Tennessee valley. It won't concern me as I haven't planted a garden the last few years. Maybe a small one next year or the year after because I like to watch things grow :)

  18. No snow here in south central Wisconsin. I did have a dream last night about snow falling outside my window. I was burroughed under the covers and woke wondering why it was so cold and discovered I had closed my vents. I must remember to open them up before I go to bed tonight!
The neighbor across the street hasn't got any leaves on his trees! We have plenty to go around. We finally got out on Sat. and Sunday to clean up our plantings. We don't have a gully so we have to put our yard waste in huge bags for our village to pick up and put in the village waste pile.Things will get better! (((HUGS)))
