There is always to-morrow-- good thing!

This was Tess-She always came to the piano when I was playing--  I can never play the piano now without thinking of her! ---  And now we have wee Lopez--the Chihuahua who is a challenge--Will he ever be trained to go outside? --Just when I think he is doing so well;, low and behold, there is an accident in the hallway---

So, we have snow on the ground-- and cold temperatures-- Yesterday Himself and I had our Booster vaccinations-- at the Pharmacy--168 days, I believe from the last shot-- Everything is OK--no reaction from either of us! --  I wonder if one day  (in a couple weeks) we might go to a restaurant--and--eat inside??--

And this AM., I was at the Lab,  at the clinic for blood work--a thyroid test--  I have a feeling it will come back too high-- 'specially after losing the weight--about 30 lb---

Yesterday was not a good day in our household--  Himself  needed to get out--  see that there is a world full of people out there-- to-day , so far , is going better. ----good thing there is always a "to-morrow" isn't it?--

Hopefully I will get that 10 minutes of exercise in--- It really does brighten my outlook on life!

  1. Awesome news on losing 30 lbs especially with all you do each and every day. I know you are going through challenges with Lopez. My dear dachshund is approaching the end of her 16 years and now we are having accidents to deal with. She won't wear a diaper and my daughter doesn't want to let her dog go so we are on poo patrol

  2. The last time I had a Thyroid test she had to lower my Medication to .88 and it has been a good year and it seems to be working fine. I think we all need to get out of the house for a little while everyday. It just makes you feel so much better.

  3. Glad you both have the booster. We are probably getting it after new year. I hope your tests come pretty good overall. Awwww, sweet Tess pic. Hugs.

  4. Glad you've had your boosters, you and Himself. Crossing my fingers for your thyroid test. Sometimes it takes an adjustment in dosages when weight is gained or lost.

Oh, Lopez! Hope one of these days the learning will stick with him!

  6. Enjoy your piano playing, should be fun for you. Hope your blood test comes in correctly. Truth be told, there is not always tomorrow, this time of year proves that for those that have lost loved ones. Hope you had time for your exercise today. Enjoy the evening.

  7. "Tomorrow! Tomorrow!" singing along with Little Orphan Annie (in my memory). Such beautiful hope in Tomorrow. You and I have both lost a lot of weight. Last week I was able to stop all prescription meds since the cancer/stroke health crisis at the beginning of 2020. Back then I was hoping for a tomorrow. So thankful for the realization that that's Today.

  8. Best you plan on taking himself out when you know there is going to be a good day with no bad weather. And speaking of weather, you might want to have a place where Lopez can go in the house (where a pee pad is set up) when it is really cold/snowy outside since you get such bad weather in the winter. Maybe he will become interested in listening to you plan the piano!

  9. Yay for you losing the thirty!!! And getting out with Himself ... hopefully you can do even a small get-out for a coffee or picking up a prescription together frequently. (I notice I get a little blue if I don't get out of the house enough, even though I enjoy plenty of solitude.) As well, the days may come when your Himself will not wish to leave the house. Getting new little puppers trained is some work and some time ... isn't it funny how we forget until we're there again???

    Happy Tuesday!

  10. Glad you both got your shots. Neither of us had any adverse reactions to any of the shots. Hoping your blood test comes out well. Sweet Tess....we all miss her.
So happy himself had a better day. Hopefully, he can get out more frequently if only for a little while.
Oh gosh puppy training....its good that we forget how hard it was in the past. We wouldn't start over with a new puppy if we remembered the struggles in the past. I hope that rascal Lopez gets it nailed down soon.
Hoping you get your exercise in AND are able to play piano.
    Hugs and blessings.

  11. It's good that you both have your booster shot, I hope to get mine next month, when it will be the required days since my second one.

I don't know what to say about Lopez, each Chihuahua is so different as I've mentioned before. My first one was trained within two weeks after I got him but my second one never fully trained. She had a favourite spot (under the coffee table) where she'd do her business if no one was in that room to see her! It's hard Lynda, I really feel for you.

Many hugs coming to you & Fred & your fur babies.
