Live, Believe, Inspire.....

There you go--You can say that too--"I did it myself!"----- I am late posting--  Blame it on the bananas---We did get to the grocery--only $169 this time--and much easier to put away--

I received an email from a dear Lady who lives way out west---It was her who helped set  myself to blog-- She had noted all the chaos going on, due to family here , and suggested ,  that she  help me set up the blog on a more private site-- What do you all think of that?--  Anyway, I shall  work with her, to see if it will work--She believes it will--I have no idea how---but--bless her heart to  rescue me from all the hullabaloo----I certainly will keep you all posted!

Finally--NO SNOW FALLING----  I am so so happy!---There is still the deck to shovel, and the dog pen trail, for the Chihuahua , but eventually I shall get to that!--  I did meet with our friendly neighbour yesterday and from now on, he will keep the gate to the road clear of snow--where the snow plough goes by-- YEAH-----

I liked the above---  It is hard for me to ignore all the advice coming my way---  It seems to me that the older I am, the more advice is  doled out---  I believe it should be the other way around--  the older we are, the more info we have accumulated in our brain--but, then again, we know when to share it , and when to be silent---- Life --so much to learn as we age--

I must have lunch-- then grab a wee rest , with my book--  I did finish "The Spare"-- the only part I did not enjoy, was when he went to war-- I found it well written, and interesting, and if I ever meet Harry, I will tell him that. He loved the  Queen---loved his Mom so very much---loved his wife , and adored his children.

I hope that you all are feeling good to-day--feeling like the Lady in the above picture.--She looks like she has not a care in the world. If we were to pose like her, maybe we might feel like that too--I shall try it!-

Courage---  The best protection women can have---and must have-------  WE can do this!

  1. I think that it is up to you/kind friend to explore how do-able and easy a more private site would be…the very last thing you need is more stress!!
I assume that somehow you’d have to “friend” the people who you feel comfortable sharing with…just tell me where to find you and I’ll be there!! Hope that this Sunday finds you with some peace of mind and provides some rest for your body! ❤️ Eissa7

  2. Well, that would be nice if the site your friend has in mind would work out better for you!

WE had 8 in. overnight. Nothing compared to you! Pining for Spring!

How nice of the neighbor to keep the gate cleared after snow plowing. That’s huge.

    LOVE that last meme! TRUTH!

HUGS and if you change sites, I wish you luck.

  3. Paceka1: I love the Quote of the Day. Yes, sometimes we do have to be pushed to learn something new. I'm glad you had an easier time putting away the groceries. We shopped a few days ago and I think there are still a few things on my kitchen counter! Not my favorite thing to do but my husband takes all the frozen stuff to the downstairs freezer. I like the idea of a more private blog, I hope that can work for you. I still can't believe that ANYone would spread private blog thoughts - that's what a blog is for! I hope that person reads all the comments from all your real friends, and feels ashamed of herself/himself!

  4. If a more private blog is less stressful for you, then you should do it. I think it means that I will no longer be able to read it, but you should do what’s best for you. I stumbled upon your blog in Sparkspeople and continued reading it here. I am in awe of everything you accomplish in a day and how you cope with himself and Lopez!

  5. Lynda if you change sites how will you keep the nosy, meddling person who stirs the pot away from your new Site? I'm not tekky but seems if you tell us where to find you, she'll find you too.
Glad neighbor will handle gate area. Its something.
Great inserts today. Loved all of them.
Stay warm, well and safe. Take time to play your piano.

  6. Would the private blog be on Facebook? There is a way to have Forums on there, with you controlling who posts or even looks in there.
Do however you are comfortable. It is YOUR Blog. Stay safe.

  7. That is great if a new more private site can be set up but how do you keep the "traitor" out? As long as we can still get in, I imagine everyone would be fine - as long as we can. Love the sayings today. Is the neighbour only doing a section at the end of the driveway and you still have to do everything else? Hope you had a good nap.

    1. The neighbour will do whatever I need--but I REALLY REALLY need him to clear deep snow beyond the gate--- That plough goes by and pushes deep snow in-- I will see what this Lady is thinking tomorrow evening-- BHugs, Lynda

  8. A more private blog might be good. You could have them send you a message that they would like to follow you. You could respond yea or nay...and choose your followers. Just remember all your Spark People buddies!
I didn't have a chance for a rest today. We did Bingo in our Community Room. Our new manager (who we all love) brought her beautiful 12 y/o daughter, Bella. Bella was the caller!
Bingo goes til almost 4. I still had to run my Lucky around with his wand toy to relax him as he'd been sleeping while I was gone. Did that. Now checking pc for FB, your blog, etc. In 1/2 an hour it will be my meditation time. That IS restful.
We have no snow falling, either, but it is so C O L D! 1F...-17 in celcius.
All of the smokers in my building have to go out to do it. There is no smoking in the apartments. Needless to say, there are very few people out there!
    Let's all have a great week. It is a good start because, as you say, we are strong! {{{HUGS}}}

  9. It is nice to have a day without more snow falling. Hopefully it means that you are able to stay inside and relax a little today after the groceries are put away. Great posters! You should do whatever makes you comfortable with your blog whether it remains the same or goes private. I will follow you either way my friend. Enjoy your evening.

  13. A private blog may be the way, but it's something to think about. Whatever is easy for you and bring your joy will be the answer. So many of us have been around since the Spark days that we'll just follow you there too.

    Wish you a great day!

  14. Lynda, you must do what is best and easiest for you to use. Very disappointed that a busybody shared with your son. I imagine he was shamed in not helping his 80 yr old mother. So be it as he deserves shaming. Three sons living close to you, so they could easily divide up the week and stop by to visit and see if there is some way they can be of help. I guess it is not to be. With that said, none of them have the right to tell you whether you can continue to blog. You are a brave, brave woman and you are admired by so many of us. Stay strong.
