Love Yourself

So true isn't it???----  We have a milder day--Lopez trudged out and did his business--always a good sign--a good start to the day----

Yesterday, I went to the pet store and bought a pair of booties for his 4 tiny feet--Well, these booties,  were too tiny--would not go on him---  In fact he growled at himself and snapped at Himself, who was trying to fit them on him--definitely a huge NO-No----I will return them to-day--because---  WE ARE GOING GROCERY SHOPPING--hopefully just a small order----

This was Son#1, yesterday, trying too clear snow away --in his named Kapoka (or whatever the thing is called)-He did an amazing job--
-Himself is waiting for me to get ready---  I will talk to yu later--Happy Sunday---

  1. Glad it’s milder and Lopez was able to go outside. Sorry that those booties didn’t fit littleLopez Have the same problem w/Miss Lilly. STILL haven’t really found a pair that fits her well.

Good luck grocery shopping. Went today, too, so we’re stocked when Jason comes home from his surgery on Tuesday or Wednesday. The prices are mind boggling. Just have to stick to your “needs” list and put blinders on.

That was great that Son #1 cleared the drive for you. Looks like it was a HUGE job! My goodness.

  3. I can't imagine dealing with the amount of snow that you have. So thankful that Son#1 cleared it. I hope you were able to get your bananas today. Take care and stay safe and warm.

  5. Well GOOD, a son showed up to help!!! I can't imagine that much snow nor do I want to. I'd hate it.
Lopez was having no part of those boots. He probably wouldn't wear them even if they did fit. Sorry he took it out on Fred. Chuwauwas can be quite temperamental. Glad its warmer and Lopez went out today.
Be safe on your grocery run. I had to make a bananna run and just a couple of items this morning. If I keep the list small the total isn't quite as scarry.
    Be warm,safe and well.
    Hugs dear Lynda

  6. Oh my…that is sooooo much snow!! That’s a lot to deal with even with professional equipment! So glad Son #1 came to the rescue!! Hope that your venture out was uneventful and you were able to get what you needed! So glad Lopez didn’t bite Himself…that’d been awful!

  7. Maybe you can exchange the booties for one size larger? Glad he did his business where you'd prefer.
Have an enjoyable shopping trip. Maybe McDonald's is open for Himself.
I wouldn't even try that snow blower!
My kitty is begging me to play, so all for now.

  8. Where was son#1 plowing? Thought you already did the drive. Is he doing the back near the lake for ice fishing? Next time it snows a lot maybe he could come and help with the driveway. My dog won't wear boots either so I have to keep wiping her paws when we go out for her walks (in the city). Hope you trip went well and you stopped at McD's for lunch!

  9. Glad the weather has improved. I bought little boots for Daisy several years ago - she refused to move AT ALL! She hated them. So they went back too!

  11. Funny, I was just going to come on here and mention booties for your doggo, and there you buy some. Yes, those are invaluable in your neck of the woods, but it does take some time for dogs to get used to them. My friend puts them on her short haired dog every winter. She's so diligent about stuff for her dog, coats, etc. My dog is a Cavapoo, so he has a poodle's curly coat, he LOVES the cold!
Your dog shouldn't be growling at you, though. Bad doggie! He he
