Here are the 2 boys--- This picture was taken last night--I was trying to watch CNN and these 2 boys were in front of me-As you can see, Lopez has grown--You can see a leash on him--because when he runs I cannot catch him without that leash--Apparently Chihuahuas should not wear a collar as they are prone to their windpipe closing with any pressure on it--so, he wears a vest-To-day is Banana Day---as well as grocery day--- AND IT IS COLD--Minus 16C--Lord love a Duck! Lopez will not enjoy doing his business in that cold!

Oh my gosh. We do the same thing w/Miss Lilly. With all her energy, if she decides to run, could not catch her, so with the leash, can step on it and she’s stopped! Glad I’m not the only one that does that! Beau and Lopez look sweet together.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on Banana (and grocery) Day. Stay warm.

Yu do the same with Miss Lily??-- the leash etc??-- And I step on it too when I see she is going to run--LOL-Lynda
DeleteYes, little Lopez has grown so much! I have always used a vest on my yorkies for that very reason. I am glad that Lopez can go back and forth between pads and outside as needed. My dogs are pad trained but I have a large laundry area out of the way so it just works nicely. Not as cold here in Ohio as it is at your house but it is still nice that they are indoor trained for those cold and/or rainy days. I hope shopping day was not too much on you. We done grocery pickup this morning and all is put away. Sometimes, we put on our masks and go but mostly, we just order online. Hope you have a great week!:)
ReplyDeleteIsn't that funny??-- It seems a lot of small dogs wear the vest. I never knew that before Lynda
DeleteI get the need for the harness/leash on Lopez. The boys look cute together....biggie and little guy. I'm glad Lopez can be switched between inside and outside for potty. Just too terribly cold up there.
ReplyDeleteI have to run to the store for a few things...mask ON...and of course, bananas are at the top of the list.
Enjoy your day. Play your piano.
Hugs
Yes I wear the mask too--- We used to see people getting off p[lanes from China etc years ago, all wearing masks and we would think thy looked funny-- Now we understand-Lynda
DeleteWonder if any prices are going down at the store, I did notice some meat prices, pork, going down. Fruit too. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteNo--Prices here are on the rise-- Terrible!-Lynda
DeleteKathy here: Hope your shopping trip goes as planned. Love the photo of the two dogs - one so big and one so small. A very long time ago we rescues a fox who lost his mom. He loved us and was mostly like a pet but we also had to keep a leash on him. He would get scared if you reached from him from the front and man, he had sharp teeth!
ReplyDeleteThat is so interesting that yu rescued that fox--- I bet he would bite !--Lynda
DeleteThe only place I wear a mask anymore is at the doctors office. I have noticed that some people are wearing them in the grocery and a few other places but I am at the point where I am fully vaccinated, boosted and pretty healthy except of being overweight so I am not overly concerned with getting COVID. My sister and BIL had it as did my daughter and they all said for them it was like a cold/flu but not as long. I still limit my trips to stores but if I need something I will go. I try and make all of my trips together. I think groceries are coming down a little here in NH and today is is in the 40s F. Such a change from the weekend of -18F
ReplyDeleteYes I wear a mask in most placers still but few people do anymore. Groceries are going "UP" here--it seems-- Lynda
DeleteLopez looks like one happy, healthy little fellow and of course, Beau is his kind and gentle self….and Sushi wants no part of TV watching with “The Boys”! Didn’t realize you had to keep a leash on him to catch him BUT it makes sense! OMG your grocery bill is awful! Is that for a week, two weeks, or a month? It is what it is, right?! Everything costs wayyyy to much! Good job getting your shopping finished…❤️ Eissa7
ReplyDeleteI get so tired when I grocery shop--when I come home-- putting it away-- and of course the price of everything is so high now I think that worries me-- It is a weekly order----- one roast --all the rest is fruit and veggies--Lynda
DeleteGrocery prices are terrible .....
ReplyDeleteThe dogs are cute...maybe they got in front of you so they could get you to play the piano for them.
LOL--Maybe--LOL--THey do like the piano-lynda
DeleteThe boys look cute in the picture, Lopez has grow quite a bit. Wow, did you ever spend a lot on groceries. I hope it lasts for awhile. I love the last quote you have in the blog. It is so true.
ReplyDeleteThe 2 boys are good dogs-- Lopez came to us at 4 ponds--has grown a lot-Lynda
DeleteThe boys are so cute together!
ReplyDeletePrices are going up everywhere, it's crazy.
