Be the person your dog thinks you are

Here are the 2 boys---  This picture was taken last night--I was trying to watch CNN  and these 2 boys were in front of me-As you can see, Lopez has grown--You can see a leash on him--because when he runs I cannot catch him without that leash--Apparently Chihuahuas should not wear a collar as they are prone to their windpipe closing with any pressure on it--so, he wears a vest-
To-day is Banana Day---as well as grocery day---  AND IT IS COLD--Minus 16C--Lord love a Duck! Lopez will not enjoy doing his business in that cold!

I shall talk to yu later on today-- Remember---

Have an enjoyable day--

I just returned home from 2 grocery stores-It is 1pm--- Food land--and No Frills--AND---  $391 was spent at No Frills and $98.00 at Food land---almost $400 in all--ON GROCERIES--- no cake or donuts or anything sweet-- no extras--  The prices sure have gone up-- Lord Love A duck! ---

I think we need to forget about  all the foods that aren't good for us-- just eat healthy-- walk away from the cookies and  ice cream --- (I am rewriting the above)----Surround ourselves with happy people-focus on the good---- and if, per chance  the Chocolate Cake  calls our name, remember that we all fall down sometimes-- but-- getting back up  and eating fruits etc will keep us healthy--Getting back up is living--  and might just be easier on our pocket books.

  1. Oh my gosh. We do the same thing w/Miss Lilly. With all her energy, if she decides to run, could not catch her, so with the leash, can step on it and she’s stopped! Glad I’m not the only one that does that! Beau and Lopez look sweet together.

Good luck on Banana (and grocery) Day. Stay warm.

  2. Yes, little Lopez has grown so much! I have always used a vest on my yorkies for that very reason. I am glad that Lopez can go back and forth between pads and outside as needed. My dogs are pad trained but I have a large laundry area out of the way so it just works nicely. Not as cold here in Ohio as it is at your house but it is still nice that they are indoor trained for those cold and/or rainy days. I hope shopping day was not too much on you. We done grocery pickup this morning and all is put away. Sometimes, we put on our masks and go but mostly, we just order online. Hope you have a great week!:)

  3. I get the need for the harness/leash on Lopez. The boys look cute together....biggie and little guy. I'm glad Lopez can be switched between inside and outside for potty. Just too terribly cold up there.
I have to run to the store for a few things...mask ON...and of course, bananas are at the top of the list.
Enjoy your day. Play your piano.

  5. Kathy here: Hope your shopping trip goes as planned. Love the photo of the two dogs - one so big and one so small. A very long time ago we rescues a fox who lost his mom. He loved us and was mostly like a pet but we also had to keep a leash on him. He would get scared if you reached from him from the front and man, he had sharp teeth!

  6. The only place I wear a mask anymore is at the doctors office. I have noticed that some people are wearing them in the grocery and a few other places but I am at the point where I am fully vaccinated, boosted and pretty healthy except of being overweight so I am not overly concerned with getting COVID. My sister and BIL had it as did my daughter and they all said for them it was like a cold/flu but not as long. I still limit my trips to stores but if I need something I will go. I try and make all of my trips together. I think groceries are coming down a little here in NH and today is is in the 40s F. Such a change from the weekend of -18F

  7. Lopez looks like one happy, healthy little fellow and of course, Beau is his kind and gentle self….and Sushi wants no part of TV watching with “The Boys”! Didn’t realize you had to keep a leash on him to catch him BUT it makes sense! OMG your grocery bill is awful! Is that for a week, two weeks, or a month? It is what it is, right?! Everything costs wayyyy to much! Good job getting your shopping finished…❤️ Eissa7
