this and that--

Good day to all----No snow falling---- and we have sun!

We did not get for groceries yesterday-- but--we did get to Shopper's and for gasoline--Gasoline is "down" in price.

I went to use my Loyalty card which accumulates points --At Shoppers Drugs--and they said my card "was compromised"--So--this AM is what I have had to do-- to retrieve those points----It has taken hours to even reach the people-----  the points one can use for groceries-- but--  when your card was used  --- the points stolen--not that long ago--it has been a real hassle to retrieve  those points--makes me wonder if it is all worth the trouble-----Do you have these so called, "Loyalty cards"?-----  Have you ever had all your points stolen?--- Was it a hassle to get them back?---Is it worth all the trouble???----

Anyway, we have sun---  not too cold---  so, a not too bad day--

Himself also  has not been an easy person to deal with-- since yesterday--I have been trying to get some help--- but, so far--- nothing--  It is a big problem some days looking after a person with some form of Dementia----poor guy! --- And he can't remember acting the way he did last evening---

Anyway---  Sadie is knocking at the door here--  (She is really "Me"----as you know!)---I must get busy and give her a hand.---You know, I think I forgot to eat breakfast-- -- how did I ever do that?-- it's almost lunch time--  I suppose that is why older people lose weight--LOL--  WE forget got eat--  LOL--

--kinda funny eh??--
---------justa thought here--- ---to-day is  the right day to live---better than yesterday--so, I'll sign off here as-----

  1. Oh NO...not your points again and so soon. What the heck? Yes, I have loyalty points from various merchants but none have vanished. My goodness...what a time consuming hassle for you. Only you know if its worth the time and trouble. Hope its worth it.
No snow YAY. Gasoline is down a little in St.Louis too YAY. Sunny and 60F today. It won't last but its a nice tease of Spring coming.
Sorry you aren't having any luck with help for himself. Thats a rough situation. I keep hoping someone will appear. Have you asked your local boys if they might know of anyone? They probably don't or they'd have already mentioned it. Is there a local Senior Center? Sometimes a senior is looking for a few hours of pay to sit with someone. What about a local Church? The pastor might know of someone looking for a few hours. Just thinking outloud. Its tough...but you do need some help. Would/could the boys take turns once a week to visit.himself....probably not when you need to be gone but at least a diversion in the evenings. Hoping you find help.
    Play your piano.
    Hugs

  2. Hi, Lynda! It's sunny here, too. It's 38F...snow and ice are melting. Too me that means Spring is on its way. Maybe the groundhog was wrong? Let's hope!
I did get bananas yesterday and still have a few.
Our maintenance man...such a dear...is back from a trip to Japan and Thailand. Wonder if he was flown by your son? Hmm...need to ask him which airlines he used...if I remember.
I am sure you are a saint to deal with Himself without losing all your own marbles! It must be so difficult for you. You have lots of followers on your side though, and we are praying for you!

  4. Kathy here: we do have some kind of points at our grocery store but it's for a discount on gas. I've never heard of anyone having them stolen. I'm so sorry for that! I hope himself feels better soon!

  5. Good evening Lynda,
It was beautiful here today. It almost go up to 50 degrees. I want spring to hurry up this year also. We are having more deer show up in our yard. The deer have eaten almost all of our holly's that are in the front and side of our yard. I need to plant something that they don't like.
I hope you can get some help for himself, and give you a break.
    Take care Bev
