  2. It's Kathy. Happy Valentine's Day. My husband and I are going out for lunch. We're expecting snow later today and I don't really like being out in the snow, even if he's the one driving! Good luck with Beau at the Groomers. We decided to take care of Daisy ourselves going forward and, of course, my husband said he will help. But nothing has happened yet. The day we were planning on bathing and clipping her she wasn't feeling well and now it's cold again! But she's happy so I guess that's important. Hope you have a nice day!

  5. Happy Valentine’s Day to you and yours! Hope Beau does well for the groomer. Kloi goes Friday. Tommy went right before his neuter last week. No snow in Ohio. I don’t see any in the weather but rainy tomorrow. I hope yours isn’t too much! Enjoy your outing . I would rather have dark chocolate than the colored sugar. Lol I enjoyed some already with my coffee. Have a great day!

  7. Happy ST Valentine's Day to you and Himself, to. I Googled Saint Valentine. He was one of 2 martyred priests 'back in the day.'
    Are you and Himself doing something special, maybe with your close by sons and theirs?
    I believe I posted yesterday about how we were going to Furball Farms sanctuary for their fund raiser. Well, guess what? We're not going. We are under a winter weather advisory from 3 this afternoon 'til 3 in the morning. Freezing rain, sleet, wind, possible 1-3 inches of snow. It's more challenging for me to drive at night anyway, as many of the surrounding roads are not well lit.
    Beau will do fine...once you get him in the car. Does he have a seat belt or other restraint for the car?
    Joanne and I are having the groomer come to us...Sunday she will come to cut our hair. We wash it just before the comes, and we give her $20. Sue cuts hair for several residents of our senior building here.
    Is your ice problem better? We may have one tomorrow.
    All for now, sis. Waiting for Sadie to show up to sweep, do dishes, and scoop the litter box. Then it's a brief snooze with Lucky. He sleeps much longer than I do. {{{HUGS}}}

  10. Don't know if I've ever said, but you are so good about getting your Germans groomed. I guess as a kid I always thought that shorter haired dogs didn't need as much grooming, but you know they do.

    Hope Beau had a good trip and feels good in his fresh groom!

    Lots of love to you and your Valentine!

It's too much for you. Hope Beau did ok at the groomers. At least it was before the snow coming. Have a good valentines night to both of you! Take care. Brenda

  13. Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you had a good day! I'm thinking Beau enjoyed his valentine spa day! Thanks for the prayers for my granddaughter. She is improving...needing less and less oxygen...seems that she does have some pneumonia, which the initial tests didn't show. She is on steroids and antibiotics thru an IV so she is getting good care. They got her up and walked her last night so I know she is getting better if she could tolerate that! As for you question about my kids pressuring me to move, no, they are not. They want me to be happy and they know that right now, I am happy here, even though living here is overwhelming at times. But I don't have a Himself to look after and worry about, so your situation is harder than mine. I just have to take care of myself and my two kitties (actually 3 right now as I am taking care of my friend's cat while she and her hubby are in Florida for 3 months)! A lot of hissing at first, but they all are getting along better now! hahaha!
