Yes girl, you can.

Good Lord---  I had to get bananas---  at No Frills--  I tried to get there before the snow that was predicted to fall, but---- Himself, who rides "sidekick"---  had to do his  stuff--and wasn't ready to leave---  so---as I was driving along the highway, the snow began to fall--Lord love a Duck!--And on the way home. it was like a blizzard---I just crept along coming home---because the highway was slippery---Any sudden  move, and   I knew we would go into the ditch--But, we made it there and back--- Of course, once we got home. the groceries had to be lugged into the house--then put away-- Well, you know how it is-- some goes upstairs into the frig  and some goes to the frig downstairs--

                                                          How is YOUR day going?

To-day is SUNDAY---Mom used to call it , "The Lords Day"------Did any of you watch the Election results last night--?---- Lots of stuff going on there ---I think it might be good to just read a good book----forget about the election ----

So---ever onward here--  I see the snow is piling up outside-----Do I  shovel this afternoon----or---do I bake some muffins?--Lord love A Duck!!!-----Do you feel that there needs to be a dozen of you somedays?
Son #2 the Pilot is now in Las Vegas----flew there last evening-----No food pictures have arrived as yet, but I'm sure they will appear soon----

-remember that you can be a Strong woman--- I believe you are stronger than you know-----Remember  that you are special----unique-----and can do much more than you believe--

  1. Hi Lynda! Glad you got home safely! It is sunny and 42 in Ohio. Going up to 66 this coming week. You better get to Medina! Lol Your daughter will be waiting. Lol I am reading by my double windows by the sun with my older yorkie. My husband has the wild Tommy puppy downstairs. Picking up groceries at 3 then put them away. I know what you mean. We have a freezer in the basement. I have four levels. It is a chore! I know your son will find great food in Vegas! Can’t wait to see. Enjoy the rest of our favorite day. Make muffins and read. I was just looking at making apple cinnamon muffins in a few days. Take care!

  2. Hi Lynda, if the choice is muffins or shoveling....muffins. easy choice.
Glad you made it safely back home. Putting stuff away on a couple levels is the pits.
Loved the inserts. Always good and positive inserts to ponder. Thank you. Admire your positivity.
Enjoy today. Relax and play your piano, or a wee nap, or a book.
Has Sushi come out of the closet?
    Be well and safe.
    Hugs and blessings

  3. Lynda, I believe we are to get more snow, too, but not for a few days. Spring like weather until then. Now its several degrees over freezing with a mostly blue sky.
I took my friend to visit her friends in another town today. Then I stopped for a few groceries, too.
Got to bed so late (i.e. early morning), that I will enjoy my nap today with Lucky.
Maybe your dear son will come with his big machine to blow snow...bake muffins. Let us know what kind you make! Always choose the action or thought that gives you joy and makes you happy. No need to ever feel guilt at not taking the other choice.
I keep going over in my head the fun we had last night, even though my 'adopted daughters' were too tired to come.
Oh! The music, the friends, the laughter...the love! That's what life is all about! Wish you could come with us!
    Himself has the day program tomorrow, correct? That will be good for you. Hope the weather lets him get there and back safely. {{{HUGS}}}

  4. It's Kathy. Sorry about the snow - it's no fun driving in that stuff anymore! You are very brave! We have a nice day so Daisy and I will get in a short walk. It's still icy in places (especially my driveway because my husband didn't clear the snow) but she's getting a bath tomorrow so today is the best day for her to get dirty. I took one of Tom's classes and he is a very good teacher. I enjoyed it but it was at night and I really don't like to go out after dinner! I hope you bake muffins instead of shovel snow! But I know the dogs need a place to take care of business. Enjoy your day!

  5. I know your house is large and you have 2 kitchens, but since there are only two people living there now, I would seriously look at the need to use two refrigerators and save yourself some steps. Just a thought from someone who has never had an extra freezer or refrigerator (even when my husband and daughter were here), usually shops once a week, and manages just fine with one. I always feel like I could, if needed, live for a month on the food that is in my house. Anyway, just thinking about how sometimes we make life harder than it needs to be, just from habit. I hope you made muffins and put your feet up. You work too hard.

  6. Hi Lynda: Yes, be very careful driving in that weather. When it's slippery you don't have the same control. At least you got home safely. Leave the snow for son #1 and his Kuboda. The pilot is lucky to be in Las Vegas! And I hate hearing about the American elections - better to read a good book! Hope your snow doesn't continue too long as I think you also have to take himself to the Lodge in the morning. Have a good night with a muffin or two. Hugs Brenda

  8. Good heavens! I am sorry you ended up in the blizzard on the way home. Glad you and Himself made it home safely.

Muffins or shoveling . . . the clear winner is make muffins.

Hope today is a better day!
