The day program was cancelled for to-day--not enough staff---too bad eh? We were already to leave--so-- Sadie cleaned the dining room and kitchen floor---and as soon as I get done here, we will go to Food land to get some fresh bread for lunch--Food land is the more expensive grocery store in town--and they have a bakery--plus a few more items the other store does not carry-It will be an outing---
Anyway I was happy that his text came thru , in the night---
The 2 dogs have been out--did their business ---- very cold this morning for them--it is warming up a bit now-- I hear that their cousins will be visiting them over the March Break-- Lola and Appolo---We will have 4 dogs-- Which is OK--- They all get along--
We used to say, "Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire"---- and I can't remember the rest of it--I saw the below meme and it made me LOL---

Hi Lynda, it's Kathy. I think a trip into town for some good bread is a wonderful idea - something to do since himself isn't able to go to the center. We went out for lunch on Saturday and had a cup of soup and a 1/2 sandwich - which was on the very best bread I've ever had. I wish I know what kind of bread it was, I'd like to try and make it! It's a quiet day for us. We were going to bathe and groom Daisy but she doesn't seem to be feeling very well this morning. Your Beau and Lopez sure look cute sitting on the dog bed together. It's sunny here and very warm for February - in fact we might break a record high that was set in the late 1800's. There is only a trace amount of snow left too, which makes Daisy and me happy! Enjoy your lunch!

ReplyDeleteThe weather is so strange this winter, isn't it? It will be 61F here today...like for you that temp would be 6.11C. Then tomorrow, the low will be 6F...-6.444C and a couple more inches of snow!

My day is going very well. Sadie will help me out a bit, I may go do a bit of shopping. I've been neglecting my exercise for a few days. Must squeeze a bit of that in.
If only we could "beam" ourselves anywhere we want like they did on Star Trek. I could beam up by you for a visit or to help. You could beam down to me to go to karaoke with us. Sigh...
There are lots of 'if onlys' in life, for sure. We have to deal with what we have and find the positives.

Lucky is wanting attention to play or cuddle for a nap. I have news for him. I don't think I need or want a nap today. At least not yet. I'll see what later brings.

DeleteMarti here. Today, for me, was too much Monday for a Monday, as I said to everyone all day long. My eyes were burning when I got up, I felt bleary eyed, and I just kept putting one foot in front of the other until I came to the end of the day. I'm now home, having worked, and worked out. Ugh.

DeleteHi Lynda! How was your outing? I went out for a couple of hours and went to a grocery store for those extra things that Walmart doesn't have. A good day. It was sunny and in the 60's here in Ohio! Happy you have sunshine, too! Love the pilot pic! Too bad he got stuck waiting on a plane to show up. Extra time to get good food! lol Those boys laying together are so handsome! How sweet they are! I love how well they get along with Lola and Apollo. That is great! Enjoy your evening!
