Oh no----winter is back!

We have snow----  lots of it fell overnight--- maybe 6 inches--or more--I have been out clearing the bricks--the Chihuahua trails-and -- I am "pooped"--I am hoping that Son #1 might appear sooner than later to clear the driveway----

So, last night , I went to read all your precious comments, and it would not allow me to comment on your comments--I felt kinda sick over it--I tried to add a comment on the bottom of all your comments , so you would see the dilemma  I was in--but, even that did not work very well---So----  "We shall see what we shall see"----to-night--even during the day to-day--I will keep watching for your comments and see if they allow me to  add a comment to your comment--Otherwise, maybe we will have to do something---with the email.   If any of you have a suggestion, please write me--

My email is "fldunloplake@vianet.ca"----

so, we have SNOW----again --------------------I knew the Spring-like weather would not last--------

The friend who had the open heart surgery is recovering in Hospital and apparently, all went well, which is wonderful-I am relieved---and very happy for him--and -- speaking of Doctors, my Doctor is calling this afternoon to check on all my blood pressure attempts for the past 14 days--Lordy Be!--- That was a chore! --  I found my blood pressure was always higher in the mornings--Hopefully I can avoid any new Blood Pressure pills--

Did you get snow????---  and---  guess what? Feb.14th----  to-morrow---VALENTINES DAY----Happy happy Valentines Day--Do you go out for dinner?---  Do you do anything special?--Even if you get a kiss, that is special -----(It might be from your pooch!)-

Love is in the air---

-Remember cutting  paper hearts out in School, way back when?-and remember hoping you would get tons of paper Valentines on that day, in school?--

Son #2 , the Pilot , in Brazil--sent you some pictures of food--below. sliced papaya--
a bag of plain chips
below--Seared ahi Tuna
                                             and below---Fresh Ravioli and Alfredo

"Keep your Chin up"----  (Dad is telling me this in my head here--)--- Always remember that you--
"YOU" are a special person----Lately I seem to need a reminder of that-
HUGS_____HEARTS -------and -HAPPINESS------always---

  1. I shall keep a "weather eye out" (one of my mom's phrases) for your son#1 to clear the driveway. Winter... it lasts until Spring, right? Hopefully your comment issue will be resolved, but in the meantime, we know you're giving it your best shot!

(( hugs )) Stay safe and warm!

  2. Hope the snafu with the posting comments works itself out, and son comes along to clear your driveway(magically without you asking)
Our snow here did not happen. Billy and I went to Red Lobster then
came home and it seems the upstairs shower is leaking again which upset the crew upstairs of course....plumbers are not cheap.
Sun is shining and supposed to get up in the upper 50's today.
This is weird weather for this part of the country this year.
    Have a great week.

  3. So happy that it was 'only' computer problems that didn't allow you to comment! Kinda thinking that it was another 'terrible, horrible, no good day.' (I think that's similar to a title of a book my kids read).
Isn't there some kind of a blogspot link where you could get an answer?
Just got back from a neighboring town...well, almost 20 miles away) to find a friend want me to take her to another town the opposite direction. I told her I'd do it tomorrow.
It's 5 degrees lower than freezing here. The sky was a beautiful blue (I always wanted to find fabric of that color) earlier. Now it's a mix of sun and clouds. Almost no breeze, though.
What happened with Himself's hearing aid? Did it get fixed?
Glad your friend is recovering well. Prayers really do help.
I wonder why people do not call tomorrow SAINT Valentine's Day? You're not the only one...it's almost universal.
I got Lucky a new cat kicker that's fuzzy and catnip scented. I gave it to him a while ago. He doesn't even seem interested. Cat's can be kinda strange! He will give me kisses tomorrow.
You enjoy your day, sis. I am sure your day tomorrow will be great, too.
I hope you get your commenting issue fixed. In between checking, maybe you'll help Sadie out. She hasn't been seen around here today.

  4. Hi Lynda, Marge in St.Louis. UGGHHG more snow up there. Hope son and his Kabota show up but at least you have a path if he doesn't. Be careful out there. We ALL need you. Your messages brighten my day. You're the BEST.
VALENTINES Day as a kid was fun. Cutting out hearts, decorating them...special. and, of course, decorating a shoe box for classmates to put a valentine card in each child's box.
Nope, don't go out for Valentines, and no pet to kiss me lol. It's all OK.
Know that YOU ARE LOVED, admired and respected by many. You are a lovely woman and incredibly strong.
Hope doctor is happy with your BP numbers.
Pilot son and his food...lol..he's a character.
Sadie has been AWOL around here so time to get on it.
Sunny and mid 50F...I'll take it. Hope it warms up soon up there to melt your crud.
Enjoy your day. Be well and safe. Stay strong.
May your troubles be few today and your blessings abundant.
Happy your friend is doing well. Prayer is powerful
    Hugs and Blessings

  8. Marti here. No snow predicted here (Central Ohio). Those food pics make me hungry (for some out to eat kind of food), and I wish I could just up and jet somewhere exciting, oh well. We had some warmish weather and now it is back to the 40's, always kind of a bummer, but there is more sun (than we had in January), and so my spirits are more up than they had been. My bf who is still digging out of his condo about 45 min away, he and I celebrated Valentine's Day last Saturday when he was here, we ate out at Red Lobster, one of my favorite places ever. Just today I bought him a box of chocolates and a card (for this weekend when he will be here). And ended up buying myself a box of chocolates that I prefer and don't get (strawberry white chocolate truffles from Lindt). He'll get me a box of Dove chocolates, that I really don't care for much, but don't have the nerve to say). What do you guys do? Yes, I typically like to eat out somewhere nice, if possible, and receive flowers and a card.
Somehow, though, Valentine's Day always seemed much more exciting back in elementary school, didn't it? All those cards from everybody! Ah well, to me it just means good food, and that we survived until the middle of February, and that March is coming!

    Happy Valentine's Day!
