A Walk can be as good as a rest--

Good day to you all--another day to enjoy--to love---We are so fortunate to wake up to-day--to smile-and say "Good Morning World!"---I have been changing clocks---the ones on the main level mostly--Lopez and I have not been out --yet!---And it is cold outside--no snow in the air--but it feels cold---
The above is a picture , sent by Son#2. the Pilot, from Brazil--a sandwich --huge! And the picture below is , I presume,  his morning breakfast--
Yesterday was  like a day that you never want to see again--The boys came out and cleaned out the garage and took whatever they could use and got rid of the rest. I had to keep an eye on it all, as things were flying out of here and some things I needed myself-  but--they did well--even packed their Dad a Tool kit-----  "Moving is not or the faint of heart!---"I believe my Dad said that!"---

So--- It looks mighty much like winter is coming to the North--- Where we are moving will never have the snow load  that we get up here-The pictures below are common for this are--- NOT WHERE WE ARE MOVING TO!
Remember that to-day is SUNDAY---I hope that you get a wee rest in-I also hope that you  are happy--and that you have time to appreciate everything you have--The meme below might  force you to sit down and get a rest in once in awhile--- LOLOL
Sometimes a walk is  as good as a rest--

  2. Good morning, Lynda! So glad you had the help but I’m sure you had to watch things to make sure you kept what you may need! That sandwich looks delish and that coffee! Glad you won’t have as much snow. That will be a blessing in itself. Yes, it is Sunday, our fave day. Lots of rest here in sunny Ohio today. Hope your day is lovely! Hugs!

  3. Good morning Lynda,
You didn't mention turning all your clocks back! Did you already get
rid of them.? I hope you don't have that much snow where you are moving. I am keeping you and himself in my prayers.
    Take care
Your sparkpeople friend from way back

  4. Hi Lynda, it's Kathy. I only have a few clocks that I need to actually change and I did that last night. The big clock in the dining room wasn't set at the right time anyway - it gains a minute or two here and there. But even though we got an extra hour of sleep, I still don't feel rested. Yesterday I just watched a couple of movies. We're suppose to get rain today but not so far. I'm planning on another quiet day today - we'll go to church shortly and then a couple of errands but once we're home I'm done for the day! I hope you have a great day today!

  5. It's good to see you here and early, too, sis.
When the time changes, I always look at my phone and computer for the correct time. They change automatically. I have to change the stove, microwave, alarm clock in the bedroom and my watch. I have a Timex Ironman watch. I always have to call up a youtube video to figure out how to change it. I may have to adjust the time in my rental car, too.
That sandwich looks incredible! I'd probably cut each half into halves and just eat one quarter at a time.
It's good that Himself has a tool kit. You may need it! :-)
Sunday is almost always a day of rest for me after karaoke the night before. And we have restarted Bingo in our Community Room for those who want to play.
Lopez will let you know when he is ready, I'm sure.
I used to walk more than a mile a day, walking our little puggle. Not any more. I get back into the exercise habit for a couple weeks...then it all goes south. Have to get back to exercise...and keep it up.
Was going to mail your books Monday when the post office opens. Do you think I should wait 'til after your move...get your new address or trust the post office to forward the package?
We have so many decisions in our lives, don't we? Some are easier than others to make.
Will check back here later, Lynda. I haven't even eaten breakfast yet!
You get some rest and relaxation, too. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  6. Hi Lynda,
You'll need that tool kit for sure. Glad boys didn't take everything.
I changed watch and microwave before bed. Car and cell phone change themselves. How's it going with all your clocks?
Glad to hear pilot son has a storage unit for stuff like your tires.
Raining in St.Louis. Lazy day. Sadie worked hard yesterday so she has the day off.
I hope you get some rest, down time today. It will quickly be time to figure out what's going.
Take care. Stay strong and positive.
Hugs, more hugs and many blessings coming your way.

  7. Oh, that sandwich looks yummylicious!!

It sounds like a good trade-off to move where there is still some snow to enjoy, but less so there's not so much work involved removing it. :D

  8. Hi Lynda: Wow that sandwich is huge but it looks real good. The pilot sure eats well! Glad the boys left you a few things when they cleaned out the garage. Himself will have a real issue with not having all his screwdrivers, etc! But it will be easy to go to the hardware store. Yes it will be warmer where you are going but winter will still be there - you just won't have to shovel it! Hugs Brenda
