Keep calm and carry on--

I am heading into town--to our Dentist--for a teeth cleaning----so much going on---  Did I tell you that I passed my Drivers Test yesterday??-------  all these last minute things------and I need groceries but that will have to wait ---
Look at the children in the photo above, all eating ice cream--sitting with their friends--so cute!                                     Children make friends so easily don't they?
The above is so true isn't it??-- The three stages of life--and I am in the  third stage--and its so difficult to part with "stuff"--Too bad I didn't do it years and years ago----
I must get out of here--get to town---but--I shall return--I just wanted you to know that someone is thinking of you--"ME"------Keep calm-----and carry on--and-----forget about that election!

  1. I have the calming music of "Dog TV" on, and Ember is chewing on her new beef center bone, oblivious to anything related to human elections! We can take lessons from the animals.

  3. It's Kathy. I am also in the Getting Rid of Stuff stage! Just can't do a lot until I'm a little more healed! Yes, these days the Vet bill is so high, but we do love our pets. This morning it was so foggy outside that we couldn't even see across the street - I'm glad that's cleared up a bit! A quiet day today I hope. Did I tell you that Lauriellen has a new lawyer? She seems to be really good and she has a child with Autism so she understands much better than the last lawyer. I hope she can help keep those boys safe! Enjoy your day!

  4. Glad you were able to 'check in' with us before your day got too busy, sis.
Hard to forget about the election when your side didn't win. All of the states that are important to me (I live or lived there or visited and loved it) were all on my side. I will just think of good stuff...my car getting fixed, my furry guardian angel, etc. And you...getting your life 'together.'
It is hard getting rid of things. Then people give you more! Or...you can't resist buying it.
Very foggy this morning, but it's clearing. At least our 3 or 4 day rain has stopped.
Sadie still has more to do here...maybe. Kinda hard when you're feeling 'down.' It is, however, very satisfying when whatever it is is done.
Hope you can check back later, but most important...enjoy your busy day. Get some time to relax, too. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  5. Hi Lynda,
Thanks for taking time to check in.
    Hope dentist visit goes well.
The stages of accumulating stuff...so true. It's not hard for me to purge. I find it invigorating and much easier to have less stuff. Hope you can get there. There won't be room for extra stuff so you'll have to decide...have I used it lately, am I likely to use it, do I love it...if not...away it goes. Good luck. Stuff is just that...stuff.
    Have a great day.
It will all be ok for all of us.
    Hugs and more hugs.
    Finally stopped raining.

  6. Hi Lynda! Hope you have a good outing. Yes, so wonderful you got that driver license all done! Friends and ice cream. You know you and I love that ice cream and Sundays. Cloudy day in Ohio and it rained last night. Oh, that election! Well, two good things, we won’t have the crazy violence and we don’t have to hear him whine for years that she cheated! Geesh!! So, there’s that. Always something positive in everything! Hugs!

  8. I feel very sad for our country. I hope America receives what it seems to think that it wants. They will see. They will get what is coming to them. I've even thought of moving to Canada, but, too snowy and cold. LOL. Marti
