NEVER FORGET THAT YOU ARE STRONG!

GOOD MORNING on this cold and windy day--no snow falling tho--yet!!---  Lopez and I "hoofed" it up the road---AND----HE DID HIS BUSINESS---YEAH!----And I was notifying  a few more business of the new address--- Lordy Be, but it does take time!---

I just heard from Son#2 also--on his way home, from being in the Simulator at Pearson  Airport since 4-30am---Poor guy eh??----Pilots are put thru all kinds of disasters while in the Sim----ice, storms -airplanes falling apart-fires -terrible stuff--

So, what is new?---  Well, no Day Program for Himself, most of last week and again to-day--Canada has a full scale Postal strike on now----(Terrible)---I have a ton of stuff to give away--too bad you all don't live closer--  OH----AND---  WE FOUND OUT LAST NIGHT THAT ANOTHER OLDER COUPLE  FROM ELLIOT HERE ARE MOVNG INTO THE SAME APARTMENT BLOCK WHERE WE ARE MOVING INTO__Can yu believe that?-- It's a small world isn't it? Son#2 was speaking to the owner of the building  He informed him of more "Elliot Lakers" arriving---We do not know them --yet----but in time we will I guess.

-                                                    ---OK--"OLDIES and GOLDIES"-

                                                left to rt---Son#2, Son#4, Son#1 and Son#3
Himself and I out in Nova Scotia

You know , I really do start everyday with good intentions of everything going well--like--I mean, getting done-- Don't you?---But, these days, somewhere along  the line, things begin to fall apart and stuff gets all mixed up---and more stuff begins to happen  and you begin to do that other stuff--and--oh Lordy Be,  what you were doing sits in the back ground-- and --well you know how it is---the phone rings--- Oh MAN!!!!---There are days,  I feel I just might lose my mind---I really do begin every day with the best intentions--but then---!

but, one ploughs thru I guess----We are alive and we can do  this-- just keep going--Anyway, the meme below might put a smile on yer face--Good thing  WE are NOT STUPID!
So, with that, I must keep chugging along  --You must be beginning to believe that I have lost my mind here---LOLOL---I guess it comes with too much to do--LOLOL--But-----No matter what--------
Always remember that you are stronger than you seem, braver than you believe,  and smarter than you think--

                                                        NEVER EVER FORGET THAT!

  1. Love the Snoopy poster. You are part of my blessings, Lynda, as are all the former Sparkers I still have contact of some sort with! And yes, all that Simulator work helps keep our pilots ready for the unexpected events that rarely happen, but could!

Grateful for your sons... the pilot, the policeman, the restauranteur... and grateful for your Himself, the long-serving doctor, and you, in all your various roles in life... and most importantly, mom, raising that next generation, and grandma, a guiding light for the generation after that.

Hugs and have a peaceful Sunday!

  3. Hi Lynda, YOU are one of my blessings!
You have some handsome boys! Wish they treated their parents as well as pilot son. I couldn't believe it took #1 three years to find time to just visit with his father.
I loved all the inserts. The idiots happen ones made me laugh out loud. I don't know how you find time to write plus everything else on your plate.
I hope you do get to know the couple moving to your complex. That's pretty exciting.
Stay strong, loving, Kind, patient and funny! you are THE BEST!
Hugs and more hugs and keep plugging away.

  4. Great blog, sis. You sure know where to find the humor in life. If it wasn't for that, we probably all would lose our minds!
Photos are great. Handsome sons you and Himself created.
Don't you think we sometimes spend too much time on our phones?
You can make new friends at your new home...from your old home town. That's really cool.
We have bingo today in our Community Room. My wheel-less friend is going to put the new Veteran license plates on my car first. That'll be when I take my garbage and recyclables down.
Now I have dishes to do. Can get some stuff done while Lucky is sleeping. Cats sleep alot. As much as I wish I could.
Saved 2 of the memes today.
Hope your day goes well...as well as Lopez does. LOL.
For now ('til later), {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
