It's Kathy. Yes, it looks lovely in California. I've only been there a couple of times but enjoyed them both! I love the exercise cartoon - I need to show it to my husband. He gets no exercise in his day except the occasional work out in the yard. It was a long day for me yesterday - I did more than I've done in a day since my surgery. I suppose that means I'm healing, but I sure was in a lot of pain by the end of the day! Today I'm home all day and that makes both Daisy and me happy! Hope you have a good day!

It does look like wonderful weather n LA--I can't imagine- Lynda
DeleteMy #3 son lives in Burbank, CA - just about 15 miles from LA, but it takes an hour to get there because of all the traffic out there! But it is beautiful there....I love seeing the mountains behind his house and the weather is nice most of the time! Loved the picture of the little child and the dog! Good luck dog sitting and packing up the house! I hope to plant a few evergreen trees in my back acreage today and finish putting my Christmas lights up outside. Won't turn them on until after Thanksgiving, but I like to get them out when the weather is not freezing!
ReplyDeleteIt really must be beautiful to live where there is no snow-Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda,
ReplyDeleteHappy dog sitting 3 fur babies. Hope it goes well.
Yay you on clothes purging. December will be here in the blink of an eye. Keep at it with purging. You'll be so glad you did it.
Enjoy your day.
We're all supporting you. You are an amazing woman.
Hugs

Well Marge --my children are not happy that I sold the house--- Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda! Happy Friday! So nice of him to send us those lovely photos. I wish I was there as it is chilly in Ohio! But, we have sunshine! Ahh! that little boy with the yorkie is too cute. My two are downstairs being very quiet. I must go check on them. LOL Have a wonderful day and enjoy the doggies. Hugs!
ReplyDelete3 dogs is a lot-- but only for one more day--Lynda
DeleteYou GOT this!:)
DeleteGood day Lynda. Love the boy and the dog. I live in California, about 15 miles from LA. Yes, the weather is nice for the most part. Today will be 78 degrees. However, we do have earthquakes, wildfires, mudslides and horrible, no good traffic. The freeways have so much traffic that it sometimes takes the fun out of going somewhere. We do have the benefit of the mountains, the beach and the desert. I hope your day goes well and that you make progress purging clothes.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds wonderful--but I guess yu pay for it all--Lynda
DeleteOh, yes, a California look. And there is something peaceful about scenes before the people start moving into them!
ReplyDeleteDoing OK here, but oh, brother... once again taking leave of my budgetary senses. The dishwasher, that I'd had repaired, started leaking again. I went to test the sticker shock of replacing it, and ended up taking advantage of "Black November" sales, and a week from today I will be taking delivery of all three major appliances: dishwasher, stove, and 'fridge. In some ways a bit of a downgrade on the 'fridge, as the new one won't have an ice maker in it. But the fridge got repaired last year, too, and both machines are 24 years old. The stove is even older... they stopped making the kind I have, and I'm going to have to have the cabinets cut away to accommodate the new one. I have a call in to the handyman service to see if it's something they can do.
Always something, eh?
Oh my heart goes out to yu Barb--precisely why I sold this house--so many things needed replacing last year--hard eh?--Lynda
DeleteI am good. It is the end of a work week. I would kill to be on the beach in California right about now!
ReplyDeleteThe election, as you know, did not please me, but I've moved on. What can you do? I've already been through it once. I can do it again, LOL
Have a good weekend!
Anonymous was me, Marti, whoops!
DeleteI know--tat election scares me also-Lynda
DeleteI live in Orange County just south of LA. We just had a Santa Anna wind event so the air looks clean. The winds however, which are common this time if the year, included 50 mph gusts which started yet another wildfire. My 1400 sq foot home, which is on slab, and basically built with plywood in 1971, is worth $1.2M. We do live in a beautiful place, and wouldn’t live anywhere else, but we also pay the price 🤷♀️
ReplyDeleteThe wild fires must be so frightening--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda: I love the meme with the puppy and the little bot
ReplyDeleteabove published before I was ready! was supposed to be "boy". I also love the California picture. Have been there several times in the past. Right now, I wouldn't want to go after their election results. Have a good night. Brenda
ReplyDeleteLynda, my comment didn't post! I've been copying it into an email to me in case that happened again. That way I could just copy and past here again. I didn't do that today as blog spot has done it for a week straight. Dang it. I said how I'd love to be in CA now cuz that's where my doctors(son and daughter-in-law) live.
ReplyDeleteI also asked if you looked at that link to the map I sent to your FB Messenger. It shows that tho now we are 7+ hours apart, when you move we will be 15+ hours apart! Sigh. We'll get together someday. Hope you day was good. {{{HUGS}}} Love, your sis, Maggie
I knew to look here for yu Maggie-- We will; be farther??---Oh nooooooo! Yu must be quite fr, wet of me then--- because I am moving about 6 hrs south of where I live now-- Ohhhh dear!--Lynda
