LOLOL---- IT sure is ME!! --sounds like you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving--Isn't it great to get a Holiday Weekend--?- WITH A CELEBRATION?----AND a TURKEY??---and so much to be thankful for!
I shovelled again--- The snow continues to fall--- but--- I hear where we 're moving, there is no snow!---Yeahhhhhhh-----
So, Are you exhausted after having the family over?--- Were you too exhausted to clean up the kitchen?--A Turkey dinner is a great deal of work for sure!-- Maybe you need a few smiles this morning--
Good to 'see' you here, Lynda!
ReplyDeleteI did survive my daughter's dinner and came home with leftovers.
It's COLD here! There's sun, but it is only going to be 19 degrees F for a high. That's -7.22C!
It's Black Friday, too. The biggest shopping day for the season for lots of people. I just placed a pick up order for necessities. All I have to do is drive up. They will bring it out. Traffic will not be nice.
I'm kinda surprised that you had time to blog today and am sure in the coming couple weeks you may have even less time for this.
Do know that we are grateful for whatever time you can give us. And that you'll be thinking of us sometimes even when you don't or can't blog.
Funny memes!
Just remember to take care of Lynda. Get rest when you can.
{{{HUGS}}} Love, you sis Maggie
Howdy Maggie--Yu came home with leftovers--so good eh?--Your temperature sounds like here--cold--Yes when I cannot blog , I miss yu all-- so, I mAy as well take the time and see how yu all are-- -- cold here today--- busy throwing stuff away--Hugs my dear friend-Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda! A little snow in Ohio this morning! I was tired before I started the meal. I’ve had a cold for a few weeks. Mainly coughing a lot now but it is tiring during the night. Then, I drove meals 30 minutes away. Gave a haircut, back home and cleaned up the kitchen. It is almost noon and I am still in bed sipping coffee. LOL Have a great weekend and take it easy on yourself these last busy days. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSnow in Ohio eh??--- That means our daughter will have it--She is in Medina ---- was a bad storm here--Yu drove meals to people??nice! Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. It is getting close now that we're almost to December. I wish you all the best while you finish packing and throughout your move. I hope it all goes well and I will be praying that the snow holds off for awhile! We had a nice, quiet day yesterday. It felt so good to just hang out and do whatever I felt like doing! I read for awhile, watched a couple of holiday movies, and heated something my daughter gave us for dinner. Tonight I think we'll get pizza from our favorite place! Now that I am able to cook and clean, I find I'm not all that interested in doing either! I'll be thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteYu are feeling better tho--so good! Yes Pray that the snow holds off--Heading down along the lakes, it can be bad--Happy that your day yesterday went well-=-=Lynda
DeleteGood afternoon,
ReplyDeleteDan & I celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary yesterday, and of course Thanksgiving. We took a dear friend and went to the Four Winds Casino and ate at the buffet. It was wonderful, and we also gave the casino some of our hard earned money but we had fun. So I am happy you will be moving and not have to worry about shoveling etc. Have you tried to get on Peoples One Health? It seems like I read a blog from someone that lives in Canada.
I miss reading about you and Fred but I try to catch up when I can.
We aren't getting any snow, yet, just flurries. Have a great day.
Your friend
Bev (pastrickb@yahoo.com)
good to hear from yu-- Spark days were good days--I have never heard of Peoples Health--nice to hear from a sparker--Lynda
DeleteOh that is wonderful that there is no snow where you are moving! Bonus points, right!
ReplyDeleteI learned long ago to make the turkey and as many of the sides as possible the day before. That way I can enjoy the holiday, too. It works.
I hope that your packing goes well. Take good care of yourself.
Hugs
Blessings

Great idea--make the Turkey ahead of time--then relax--Smart!-Lynda
DeleteOh, worry about yourself for the next couple of weeks as you are the one that will be busyer than busy. Is Himself accepting of the change now? The extra attention he gets will keep his mind occupied for awhile. Good luck and prayers that all goes well and as planned. Dot
ReplyDeleteHimself has been pretty good about the move Dot-but--I think the chaos when we arrive with stuff all over , will upset him--Lynda
DeleteAll the best to you and Himself. I'm sure you will both be very happy once you settle into your new place. One of the nice things is that you will have so much more time to spend doing things that you enjoy. No more shoveling snow or cutting grass and a smaller place to clean. I have looked up Lakefield and it looks like a lovely place to live. Take care and happy moving day.
ReplyDeleteLakefield does look lovely--quiet-- lakes--small--I think we will enjoy that-Lynda
DeleteMy goodness, down to less than a week now!!! Don't worry about us, just take good care of yourself and don't overdo it to the point you wear yourself out.
ReplyDeleteI'll be praying for a safe drive for you all. So glad your son and his wife are helping.
Hugs!!
AS long as we do not meet a blizzard-- Lynda--Yers pray---
DeleteHi Lynda: STOP shoveling the snow. Get the boys to help or hire someone. You don't want to hurt yourself and not be able to pack, etc. And there will still be snow where you're moving but not as much and others will shovel! Look after yourself - time is marching on. Happy packing. Hugs Brenda
ReplyDeleteBrenda -- I must ztop th shovelling--I promise--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda, loved the inserts. Funny.
ReplyDeleteI forgot when you are moving. 5th maybe. Praying for good weather for your trip.
Dont worry about us. We understand you are busy.
PLEASE stop shoveling. Ask gifted snow blower son to do it or pay someone. You could hurt yourself out there.
It's cold in St.Louis..20sF this morning. Forecast calling for 2 to 4 inches of snow tomorrow. I HATE SNOW.
Write when you can. Be safe. Stay strong and positive.
Safe travels
Love Marge/St.Louis
oh Marge YU sound so happy--Yes I will write when I can--The moving van leaves here Dec 4th--We leave on the 7th (I think) This house closes on the 9th-- coming soon--Lynda
DeleteGood luck to YOU!
ReplyDeleteYou, too, are stronger than you think you are! Onward! I shall be looking forward to the next chapter and the "in between" shorter than short missives.
ReplyDeleteHugs and good wishes for a successful move. I agree with previous commenters, please take good care of yourself while making this transition.
