I hear my Mom--Lordy Be!

I think I am "the  crazy""---  Lordy Be!!!  Transferring the banking info to the new bank---and changing the info, such as our new address---  takes so much time----  I have been on the phone all morning and this afternoon I must get to town to change our pensions over to the new address --This is certainly NOT for the faint of heart -(-which might be me--)

So----ever onward here---We do have sunshine---  (no lollipops--LOL)---  and wee Lopez did what he was supposed to do early this AM, bless his little heart--now if Himself could only hear me, it might make my day! How could I ever have done all this without Son#2, giving me a list to check off as it's done---I think he must be losing it a tad now--- "Patience is a virtue, Possess it if you can, It's often found in women, but-never in a man!"-
-- Mom was just screaming that out in my brain---I heard her, clear as day----She just said, "Go on--Tell them what I said--!"
Lordy Be! I am cracking up here for sure!-----"No",  she said-"-You are not losing it"---

Time for the "Oldies and Goldies"-- before you think I have really lost my mind--the first picture was taken, one halloween--Himself was Mr T--Remember him?---  I guess I was a flapper--
I don't know which Grandchild Himself was holding--Whoever it was Fred was quite proud of her!
This was the year I graduated from Nursing--1964 -probably at our cottage, on the dock--Anyway, I guess I thought I was pretty special as I allowed someone to take the picture.

So----  at 96   and almost 83, life goes on---One never knows eh what comes next in your life--like--who would think we would be doing this? ----a good reason to BE STRONG---NEVER EVER give up---MAYBE THE BEST IS YET TO COME------  Mom just said, '':Yes it is--  Tell them""--
                                                                    Oh Man!!!!!!!!!

----------------- .....                                              -Jusr remember---.

  2. Nice to 'see' you, sis.
It's sunny here, too, but breezy and no rain.
I do believe your mom talks to you, or at least tells you what to say. I communicate with people who have passed often. Usually it's my mama or grandma.
I'm glad your son made a list for you. That will make things so much easier.
I just got back from a couple errands. Eating lunch now.
I checked last night for comments and saw none. I'll check again and check back here later.
Focus on one thing on that list at a time, Lynda. Soon you will be through it. We are not 'losing it.' If anything it's just that we have more to think about!
You and yours all have a marvelous day. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  3. It's Kathy. You have so much going on right now, of course you feel overwhelmed. And you have to do most of it yourself. I'm glad Son #2 gave you a list of things that need to be taken care of. I can't even imagine how much work goes into moving from a home you've lived in for so many years! That is the one thing that has stopped us from actually looking into it - that and the fact that I keep having surgeries! I saw my physical therapist yesterday and she thinks I'm doing really well - I don't exactly agree but I am a whole lot better than a month ago! And I see the surgeon in 8 days! Hopefully I'll be healed enough to start going back to the gym! Take things one at a time and you will get through this! Imagine how wonderful it will be to not have to clean such a big house! Take care!

  4. So much, so much, going on! My carpenter handyman came this afternoon to give me an estimate for creating space for the new stove, so now it's all scheduled. Friday the new dishwasher comes. Monday the carpenter handymen take out the old stove and cut away the parts of woodwork that would get in the way of the new stove. Tuesday the new stove and 'fridge arrive. Whew! Always something, just when you think you've done enough for one year, already!

Good luck and thank goodness for your son #2 helping as much as he is!

I'm so proud of you! You are scratching things off that list right and left. You go girl! You got this!
Your mom is watching and cheering you on. Your 1964 picture...dang Lynda what a hottie lol! I like Mr.T and the Flapper. Great pictures from the past.
Liked all the inserts today. The last one about changing an attitude...isn't that the truth!
Carry on. It will be worth it. You CAN do this.
So wish we could all come and help you.
Stay positive, strong, determined and well.
