Good day to you all--I just got back home--Himself is at his lodge -- I had the winter tires Torqued---cannot get the sensors back working-- (Their machine is broken---)-came back here to walk Lopez in the rain --AND HE DID HIS BUSINESS---and I thought I'd write you all a few lines to let you know that I am thinking of you-----AND--then--I shall get this house tidied up and my goal today is to get rid of a zillion pair of boots and shoes that I never wear--maybe this afternoon I can do that--
Ila is my Mom--- (the little girl with the long hair)--on her left is her Mom--on her rt is her Mom's Mom and in the back of my Mom, is probably another close relative---The house they are standing in front of, is an old farm house, situated along the 401, sorta in the area where we will be moving--Now, inside me--- are all the above women's thoughts--and who knows--maybe they are even looking over me--All those women made me--- Now isn't that just so neat??---
Good morning Lynda. I've noticed in your blogs over the past several days that you seem happier, as if the weight of the world has been lifted from your shoulders. Perhaps finally making the decision of selling the house and moving to an apartment with your son living above you explains it. You certainly deserve peace of mind, knowing that relief is in sight. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteI am happier --I think!--LOLOL--Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I love that you've sprinkled us with Happy Dust - I kind of need it today. My husband asked what's wrong this morning. Nothing really, it's just that the mornings are hard to get this tired body moving! I took Daisy out this morning - when I opened the door she looked outside (it was raining) and turned around. Nope, she was not having it. I had to use my MOM voice and tell her in no uncertain terms that she WAS going out to take care of business. She did! Yes, tomorrow is our election and thank goodness. If I see one more add about women needing abortions I might break my TV. I saw one this morning 4 times in an hour! Whoever wins, I think our country is in for a wild ride! Enjoy your decluttering!
ReplyDeleteKathy We need that Happy Dust!--LOL-Hope the good woman wins your election-Lynda
DeleteThanks for the Happy Dust! :-) Raining here - got 2 1/2 inches in my rain gauge and it is still raining! Got soaked when I went to yoga this morning, but am glad I did as I got a good workout! Dreading this afternoon as I have to take both cats to the vet for their yearly check-up! Getting them in their carriers is no easy task! And yes - the politicking is awful! I think there should be a rule that your champaign can only be focused on what you would do for the country and citizens and you are not allowed to say anything negative about your opponent! I hate all this negativity and name calling and I agree with Kathy about all the awful abortion ads. I live in Illinois, but only about 25 miles from St. Louis so all of our political ads on TV are about the races in Missouri - elections we cannot vote in so it is a double whammy! (So I have been recording Hallmark movies and watching them so I don't have to watch any political ads hahaha!) So glad you 3 boys came to help you! My husband's garage is still full of his things - just like it was before he died 5 years ago.....I really need to go through it and get rid of all those tools and saws, etc....but my heart isn't in it. Sounds like you are doing an awesome job of getting rid of stuff you will no longer need! Proud of you!
ReplyDeleteThat negativity is terrible isn't it??---To-day I hired a man to just throw away all the junk in the garage--so it will look better for the new people-- Lynda
DeleteGood morning, Lynda. Happy to 'see' you. Especially with that happy smile. Things are progressing for you.
ReplyDeleteHimself should be tired and happy when he finishes at his lodge.
It's not raining right now, but it has for the last 36 hours on and off. More due later and tomorrow, too. The wind is chilly, even though the temperature doesn't register and cold. Well, it certainly isn't warm, either.
Helping Sadie get stuff down around here. She must figure you can tidy up there on your own.
Received a text message my car is on track to be fixed by the 13th. That seems so far away!
You are going to be in Ontario, right?
Did you get all your clocks fixed? I still haven't done the bedroom alarm clock (I rarely need to use it) or my watch. I will do the watch now.
I'll check back here later, of course. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help from a distance. Maybe not, but I'd thought I'd offer. Prayers for all of you always. {{{HUGS}}} Love, your sis Maggie
Lakefield, in Ontario=--Yes- Poor yu waiting all that time to get your car repaired--That will be hard for you!--No --I still have clocks to do but I will get to them-- so much to do for the move--nice when it is over--Lynda
DeleteI always think of you, especially in the past week, when Ember "does her business" like a good girl! She did so after coming home from the groomer this noon. Now she's napping, and ... I'm going to take a nap, too!
ReplyDeleteGot my fingers crossed for the election tomorrow. Checked to make sure my ballot and my son's were accepted (son and his wife and inlaws are on the road today). His wife and her parents had already checked theirs.
I do believe, germaine to your blog about the strong women, that it is the women voters, especially us senior women, who will make the difference in this election! Onward! Hope the rest of your day is good!
I agree because we are so smart--LOL-- WE are yu know! Lynda
DeleteWhat lovely photos from the past. These are treasures.
ReplyDeleteGlad that Himself is @ the Lodge. Hurray!
HUGS and thinking of you, too, wishing you luck as you prepare for your next adventure!

DeleteHi Lynda! Thinking of you, too! You know we would all help if we could. Love your pics. Always nice to see. Nice day in Ohio. I think rain tomorrow night. Ahh! Sweet Looez. How many hours is your move? You will be so happy getting to read more, play your piano and snuggle. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteIts just busy when one moves--Thank yu for your support-Lynda
DeleteWell darn! I just checked back to see if you replied to me and low and behold, I posted as "Anonymous "! hahaha! I am so supised that I did this - but you did reply to my Negativity vs Positive Polictical ads! haha! Even though you didn't know it was me! Took my two cats to vet today to the vet! A traumatic event for both me and them! They are both stripped tabbys like Sushi!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynda: Glad you're getting extra help cleaning stuff out. And you probably won't have room for all those clocks when you move! Have a good night. Brenda
ReplyDeleteGood morning,
ReplyDeleteOf course I remember your clocks. I had to always laugh because we just have 3 clocks to change, that is enough. I am on PeopleOneHealth and I so miss reading your comments everyday. I have to go thru quite a bit to get to your comments, so I read 3 or 4 days in a row to catch up. You are such a bright light in my life and I am always thinking of you and himself. Election day in the states as you know. We voted weeks ago. I just hope that Harris wins, so we can "turn the page" and not have so much hate. Please take care.
