If I Can Do it, You can to~!

This is another Halloween picture of our daughter's family--This was a few years ago--

OK----My weight is DOWN--AGAIN! --unbelievable! ---I now weigh 190 -----Lord love a Duck! I began this journey about 10 yrs ago---  I weighed 217 then--With the help of Spark, and all the Sparkly people (like yourselves)---slowly, I learned how to change my eating habits --AND my life-- My goal now is to get into the 180's---  and eventually get to 165 where I used to be---(This will take a million years!)  So----that is the good news! And there is more!

I was in town yesterday doing stuff, and decided to stop at the vets ---- AND_--THEY LISTENED TO MY STORY ABOUT BEAU AND HIS DIARRHEA --and she went in and talked to the vet and came out with a bottle of pills--  2 tablets twice a day---and --it is working! --This morning, no more rug shampooing--and big Beau who weighs 103, is now on an eating plan to stop all his problems--no kibble for now , but plain rice with chicken water over it--I am very happy that the vet listened to me and helped me out! He needs to lose weight , the same as me! Beau and I have a lot in common-

This afternoon is "Hair day" --I hope that Himself can manage this crazy household  for an hour while I zip into town.-I look like the "Wreck of the Hespress" as Mom used to say--

NEVER STOP TRYING with your weight loss because if I can do it, I believe anyone can!

  5. Happy you are losing, I’m losing too! Maybe Spark was holding us back, because it was a daily Nag, and nagging at us does not help, it hinders. Wishing Beau all the best! Enjoy your hair appointment. I live in Texas, maybe it will be safe to go inside somewhere by Mother’s Day.

  9. First of all, congrats on the weight release! You are doing it! Amazing!

So happy that Beau is feeling better. Poor baby, poor YOU!

I bet Himself will hold down the fort all right . . . maybe not as tight a ship as you'd run, but that's all right! Enjoy your away time!

  10. That’s great news about your weight loss! I’m happy that the vet was able to give you some medication for Beau. I was told that white rice helped and my daughter said her vet recommended pumpkin. Her dog is on antibiotics for an infection and she always ends up with diarrhea. Have a good time at your family dinner tonight! 👍 🎂

  16. Glad vet is doing something for you that quickly. They are as hard to see as doctors! That is great that Beau will be better. And you're doing fantastic with the weight. Enjoy your hair appointment. Himself should be able to handle things for that length of time.

  23. Doesn't Beau need some protein, etc.? Hope the special diet will be able to be added to soon.

Your hair will be great, and Himself will be pleased.

  24. I hope you had a great day at the hair dressers. I had an appointment on Thursday and forgot all about it. She is the best hair dresser and I fear she is going to fire me.

  25. Stay the course Lynda! We have learned from Spark how it works! We had Becky's grandson Silas over for dinner and a binge night of watching Netflix's Squid Games! He loves to see our reactions to the horrors that we are watching! We had pizza and more! This was a high weigh day for me! I know one thing it is A temporary weight gain! (((HUGS)))
