It's a Braw Brick, Moon lick Nick!

Now isn't the above , the truth?---I feel good--just sleepy---  I need a rest---LOL-----Not going to happen for awhile tho! ------  Yu see, Himself needs to be taken to town to pick up some kind of monitor which he will wear for 3 days----Then we shall see how "his ol' Ticker" (as Dad used to call it)---is working.

Little Lopez decided that 5am was a good time, this AM., to wake me up--- and to get up--so, I am operating here on half a cylinder--Maybe that was a good thing however, as I no sooner got downstairs--WITH LOPEZ, that the iPhone dinged--  It was Son #2, once again, over Greece, using their WIFI to text me.-He said it was his turn to sleep --so he texted "ME"--his Mom--- I felt honoured !----  There are 4 Pilots  flying this huge plane , and they take turns napping as it is a 13 hr flight back home  from Qatar.

I cut the grass yesterday and it was raining-- I have never cut grass in the rain before. Hopefully that is the final cut before the snow flies.--

And my weight is bouncing around-- up and down, and all over--so---- I can't report it till it settles down.

I hope you all are hanging in -- watching what is going in the mouth--and moving the ol' body-
Lord love a Duck! --If I don't keep trying , I might not see another day---

  3. Good morning! Your weight will keep bouncing up and down until it FINAllY settles. Mine just stopped bouncing and I'm so happy it's down from Sunday which was up from the last weigh in. Today my daughter is taking me to have the port in my chest removed. I don't need it anymore...thanking God. The cancer has been gone for over a year now. No signs that it spread anywhere else. Hope the monitor for Himself's heart will give you some peace and hopefully you can get a good nap in today....that little Lopez! LOL

  4. You have been such an inspiration to me since we all left Spark behind. Today I can report that I am finally back in One-derland . . .out of the 200's for good. Thank you for being there to keep us all going even when you are tired.

  5. Hopefully it will be a quick trip to town and you will be able to rest a little when you get home. Don't forget to take care of yourself because if you don't you can't take care of Himself. Enjoy your day! (((HUGS)))

  6. Went to the grocery store this morning, I like going on Mondays because there doesn't seem to be a lot of people shopping.

    Have a great Monday

  7. Yes Lynda, no matter how old I get i want my mommy.
I'm impressed how your pilot son stays in touch with you. That is comforting.
Take himself along to pick up Holter monitor? I'm hoping you get answers sooner rather than later.
Our grass needs cut too but villa assoc. Stops mowing Oct. 1. Sorry you had to cut in the rain.
I'll try for today to keep things out of my mouth that are not the best nourishment. The scale keeps bouncing around.
Have a peaceful day. Take care of YOU.
    HUGS DEAR LYNDA

  9. Good luck with the monitor and I hope it helps with the diagnosis. Lopez is certainly keeping you busy these days and that should help with the weight loss. It’s great that your son keeps in close touch with you as he resumes his travels. Have a good day! 👍

  12. I shouldn't be long before Lopez settles into a far better routine. As for Himself, you may get some answers, preferably good. Either way you will know what is going on.

  13. How sweet of your son in Greece to text you to keep in touch so much. I hope everything turns out well with the monitor. Sorry Lopez woke you up so early this morning. It’s hard to keep going on a half a night’s sleep.

  14. Hope the "to town" errands went well, and the next three days give Himself's doctors the information they need! Love how your tech-savvy kids keep tabs on you!

  16. Lynda, you WILL keep trying...we all will. The only other choice we have is giving up...and that would not make our family proud at all.

    My Lucky always wants me to wake and feed him between 4 and 5 AM, too. They don't understand that we need 7-8 hours sleep undisturbed cuz that's not the way they do it ;-) {{{HUGS}}}

  17. Hope you gets some answers from the holter monitor. Lopez is still a baby and will keep changing what he does in the mornings unfortunately. Try to get some naps in the compensate for the lack of sleep he creates for you! Son #2 is great at keeping in touch regardless of where in the world he is. Shows he cares.

  18. Ah, little Lopez is an early bird. He may adjust as time goes on. I know Miss Lilly used to wake me up @ 2 am. Now she is kind and waits till 4 am. Just like babies.

That is just so nice that your DS #2 keeps so closely in contact w/you. What a good son.

Hugs and hope you get some sleep tonight.
