So glad that you didn’ t have a major fire AND you could rid yourself of the appliance that you really didn’t like anyway!! Little Lopez is one lucky little fella .... he has you for a Mom! Hope that your Saturday is calm and that the pour8ng rain stops! ❤️Eissa7
ReplyDeleteSorry about the oven but happy that there wasn't any damage done in the house. The pictures of Lopez show that he seems to be settling in to his new home. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteJust what you needed to your already hectic life. . . .we're having some sunshine and beautiful Fall weather. In Maine this weekend to close our cabin before the snow flies. Loving hearing the adventures of your wee flla . . . now you have a German and a Mexican (as in dogs) LOL
ReplyDeleteLast month my husband made a pizza for dinner and the oven would not turn off the the smoke detector went off and smoke was coming from the oven, turned of breaker so we didn't have a stove for a couple of weeks. Had to order a part and we got it about a week later. It is finally working again.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Saturday
What a mess! Lynda, for what it's worth I keep you in my prayers everyday! All I can say is good luck with Himself and Lopez Martinez Sanchez, better you than me! (((HUGS)))
ReplyDeleteSusie----I Need Yer Prayers--- lots of them--- This is really an adventure!--- Lynda
DeleteCross your fingers every day, Jean! My goodness. Can’t be careful enough these days. Enjoy your Saturday.
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness! Glad there wasn't a major fire sparked! And little Lopez continues to charm and bless your home. He sure is a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteGlad there wasn't a fire and good you were home and just outside. Good decision to get rid of the oven. Sounds like Himself should maybe not do cooking without you around. Take care and stay safe.
ReplyDeleteSweetheart, you prolly could have saved Himself's oven. Oh, well, I understand that you did not like it.
ReplyDeleteWee Lopez will grow, and you may wish he was a puppy again! {{{HUGS}}}
Quite a day at your home! Lucky there was no fire to deal with and now you can get an oven that you like. It’s raining here as well and rained pretty much all last night. Looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner with family this year and hope it’s a nice day tomorrow. Have a great rest of the day! 💦 👍
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it wasn't worse. I have a post-it note by the dial on my oven reminding me to check the oven before I turn it on. (I store a frying pan in the oven and don't want to forget it when the oven comes on.)
ReplyDeleteAww, it wasn't Lopez who threw a monkey wrench into things, it was Fred not tending that oven but anyway, since you never liked it, it's kind of a good thing it happened and you threw it out.
ReplyDeleteI adore the photos of Lopez and think I'm in love with this wee fellow. :)
Hugs to all of you this Thanksgiving weekend.
Things in life change fast . One minute you are heating up a meal , next thing your looking for another toaster oven .
ReplyDeleteDid the smoke alarms go off. 🤣🤣
ReplyDeleteOh Lynda, you and your love ones (including fur babies) are in my thoughts and prayers daily.
ReplyDeleteSorry about how your day has been going. Hope it gets better. Lopez is sure a little cutie.
Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends.
Oh my goodness! glad there wasn't a fire! **SIGH** Hmmmmm . . . maybe Himself needs supervised cooking. **SIGH** I can hear his objections from here. But glad at leas nobody was hurt, either.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, Little Lopez looks so innocent! Amazing how they can do that, isn't it! He'll grow and mature.
HUGS
Wow, glad you came back in to catch it before it could of been worse.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving !!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness.....the good news, you got to pitch the oven you don't like.
ReplyDeleteLopez is looking more comfy each day.
Prayers for you and your family.
Happy Thanksgiving.
I'm so sorry about your little oven but maybe, since you didn't like it anyway, it's a blessing! Yes, puppies can totally throw a monkey wrench into life but little Lopez will soon get an understanding of the routine in your household and he will also be a blessing!
ReplyDeleteKind of sounds like my house without the puppy. It will pass. Patience and time will make it all seem better.

Little Lopez is so cute. He's looking like "what's wrong mom?' Thank god you didn't have a bad fire. At least oven is now gone. Happy Thanksgiving whether your doing it Sunday or Monday. Hopefully the kids and grandkids do a lot of the work.
ReplyDeleteA puppy will definitely turn your life upside down. the upside is you have a puppy!
ReplyDeleteYes, this too will pass. When we talk of doing one thing at a time and it hits with 3 or more, hugs. Adding the rain sure is a training problem.
ReplyDeleteGood plan tossing the oven, perhaps Himself really doesn't need to cook anything at this point. Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteI usually do all the cooking with Susie's help. My DH wouldn't know how to turn the oven on. Coming home one day I called him to have him preheat the oven and I had give him step by step instructions to turn it on. Good lord! I think himself should stick to vacuuming. LOL!
