"Lopez Martinez Sanchez" has turned our life upside down!

This is Himself--- Lopez Martinez Sanchez is in the cat crate, on the floor--with the top of it open. This is so he can see Himself who as fallen asleep----  and Himself is sitting there  so I can vacuum--- Lord Love A Duck!  Little wee Lopez can holler if either myself or Himself is not in view!

This is the sweet wee fella--in the bed donated by Son #4---One of his dogs had outgrown it.
Lopez Martinez Sanchez was given more names by our daughter in Ohio. She says all Spanish people have lotza names-----It boggles my mind however how one tiny wee little fella can turn one's routine into a chaotic mess---- he sure is a good little guy at night however--slept from about 9 PM to 7AM ---

And there is more good news --Sushi the cat, who came in from the cold many yrs ago,  very carefully crawled over Himself in the night, to me, and slept on my chest , purring--checking things out--- She has not been in since Lopez Martinez Sanchez arrived on the scene---I guess the animals are figuring things out! --And even Himself has calmed down---even tho he has to catch 40 winks while he doggie sits!---poor man eh?

I best get off of here--because the wee little fella will be awake soon--which means a trip outside-

Lord love a Duck! No rest for the wicked----(Mom's expression)

  1. Good Morning Lynda, Yesterday I saw three huge gaggles of geese heading South. They honked as they came over my area here in Southern Ontario from your area and asked me to let you know they are doing okay. They will keep heading South now till they get where they need to be so they are safe for the winter. They said to keep wee Lopez warm from the cold weather too.

  5. Yes, the animals do figure it out, don't they? And if we humans don't freak out, they calm down in fairly short order!

Hope you get your Sadie duties done and can enjoy a good piece of the day!

  8. It sounds like you’ll have your hands full for a while with Lopez. But he is cute as a bug in a rug. Good Luck!

  9. Lopez Martinez Sanchez . . . his name is bigger than he is! SO cute. Yes, puppy sitting takes it all our of you when you're sitting there watching the wee fellow, doesn't it! LOL That's how my Himself watches Miss Lilly when needed. Ah well, they survive.

    HUGS It gets better.

  10. You had me laughing as I was reading this. Oh boy, you may think you'll be training that little one, but the reality is he's training you! Still, Beau seems to like him, and it sounds as if Sushi has forgiven you for opening your life to this most recent intruder. Is Himself able to sleep through the vacuuming? (Oops, I just realized he would have no problem if he doesn't have his "ears" in.) I'm enjoying the daily updates. Thank you.

  11. I remember when Daisy was first here. My daughter said "take her outside every hour" so I did. Little Daisy figured out really quickly why we went out so often. But she never liked sleeping in her dog kennel when we were sleeping in the bedroom. Now it's her safe place to rest during the day. But she still wants to be wherever I am - right by my chair as I'm typing this. I love the puppy's full name!

  14. How sweet! Himself helping with Lopez. I was thinking since Himself is not as active as you, maybe he could hold the little dog and they both could get a nap?? If he's sleeping that good at night, that's great! Our little guy was a good sleeper too!!

  16. Our tiny one-eyed 6 lb cat is the self-appointed Boss of us All (2 other cats, 55 lb dog, and both humans). What she lacks in size, she makes up for in opinions and persistence. LOL

  17. Lopez has such a cute face it would be hard to get angry with him. I would just want to cuddle him whenever I got the chance. Have a great day!

  18. So Sushi is an outside cat now? Hmmm...well, at least you don't live in a city where it would be more dangerous for her. Do they all have flea/tick/mosquito protection?

Himself looks like he's about to fall out of the chair!

    Glad the animals are happy...and you, too! {{{HUGS}}}

  20. Glad things are starting to settle down a bit. Good thing he sleeps thru the night. You don't want to be taking him outside up there at night. Too dangerous. If Beau, Sushi and Lopez all get along that will be a huge help.

  21. Hi Lynda. Today's post made me giggle. Good on you for finding a very important job for Fred. Lopez Martinez Sanchez needs to SEE his humans....or else lol. Happy you found a solution so you can get a few things done. Sushi seems to be reclaiming you. Everyone will settle down in a little while. Glad Lopez is a good night sleeper. Fred will warm up to yet another pet fairly soon lol.
    Have a great day. Hugs

  23. At first glance I thought wee Lopez was tucked inside Himself’s sweater! Glad your household is getting sorted out and things are settling into place!

  24. The geese are headed here. I swear they feel it is south enough and stay all winter in our local park.

  25. Glad the routine will settle in and Lopez is starting to become part of the family. (animals) takes a while eh? Been seeing geese flying south, and I think of you. I wish I could send all the geese your way and that they would stay there permanently. When they are on our golf courses, parks and just around in parking lots, they sure do leave quite a mess.
