Everything will work out----I hope!

We have had router problems--  It began last night---  kept getting thrown off the internet-- Finally a "tech support fellow" from Vianet thinks our router is too old-- so--I have ordered another--from Amazon-- Our "Source" store might carry them---  but--this one is supposed to be here Monday coming-I am on the old router  right now--  The printer is not hooked up, and the house cameras are not online-- We will get by till Monday--I hope! --Doesn't it seem that it is an never ending  money thing?---  ---  One thing after another----

I just came in with Lopez--Poor wee guy-He was screeching last night while I was on the phone with the Vianet tech support guy--and, this morning, he did not do his business on the back road--All new stuff happening and it upsets him! ---I just took him out and he did his business on the septic bed--

It is very humid  outside right now--going to be very hot I think--  We just turned on the AC--I think the secret to staying sane these days, is to  not think about the "$$$$"---  do what is necessary --and hope it will all come out in the wash--(of course , Mom's expression)---  Oh-----I must tell you--  My weight to-day is 177.0--from 217 ---- Lord love a Duck! I am getting closer and closer to the165 ibs--

This picture is of our  Grandson, the swimmer , and my grass cutter, with his Mom and Dad , at the swim meet in Toronto---That was last weekend--
Here he is again, with Son#2, the Air Canada Pilot, who went to cheer him on--
Enjoy life--Enjoy the day--Hopefully life will work out--for us all!

  1. It's hot here today too! Have had many 90 -100 days! Watering plants takes me forever and I cut back this year! And yes - everytime I turn around it seems like I have another expense! New tires $1000, dead tree to be cut down $700, broken coffee pot, $30! (That was cheapest, but the most upsetting! I need my morning coffee!) Glad that you are getting a new router. I had to do that a couple of years ago. Sure funny how we get used to having internet access and when it goes haywire, we can't seem to get along without it! And of course it is expensive too! Oh well - you are right "Everything will work out!"

  2. It's cooler today than yesterday, so hopefully that will happen where you are, too. Fence guys still working, and like you, there's always SOMETHING around here that needs fixing! Wishing you well, and that for all of us it will all "come out in the wash" (my mom used to say that, too).

  6. You are right when one thing breaks a lot of other things start breaking at the same time. Frustrating especially the older we get and are on fixed incomes. And with the price of food and gas we don't have a lot of "extra" money to spend on getting things repaired only problem is we need the things that need to be repaired!!! So we go round and round in this horrible circle.

Glad Lopez is doing much better for you and you are learning his signs of when he is upset. Animals know when we are upset but don't know why and we can't explain it to them. So just give him extra cuddles and hope that will help.

Love all the cool pictures. That is so nice your grandson will be mowing your lawn for you this summer. Now if you could get someone to help with some of your other chores that would be awesome.

Enjoy your heat. I will send mine your way also. It is going from the low 60's to the mid 90's this week-end. THANK GOD for friends that bought me an A/C unit. I can't take the heat any longer!!

  7. Yes, we need what we need and have to pray that it all works out. Sorry about little Lopez. My Daisy is not herself these days - it's been so hot here and that will continue at least through the weekend. She does not like it when it snows or when it's too hot, well, she doesn't like the rain either. Picky little girl!

Lopez is quite the little vocal guy. He let's you know when he's not happy.
Awesome on the scale down MORE! Weed wacking and dog walking are helping and no bowls of ice cream at night. Lol

  10. Great on the continual weight loss.

Joys of ho-MOAN-ership is what we call the never-ending list of things to do and fix and replace. In the last two weeks the dishwasher had to be replaced, garage door cables & rollers replaced and ice-maker in frig bit the dust. Yep, that retirement savings is disappearing at a more rapid pace than it took to accumulate.

Yup . . . seems there is ALWAYS something that requires spending $$$$. But, you’re right . . . have to just hope it all comes out in the wash.
