I Luvs Ya!

I don't know if it's true or not--  Will laughing add too our life span?--Maybe----It's a good thought !

I am late blogging, as Himself cannot hear anything at all-- His ears are completely blocked--I took him to the Hearing Clinic and they looked in his  ears and found one ear has blood in it--and the  other ear seems to have an infection going on----It seems to be my fault--

I will never ever try to clean them again--When he cannot hear, I used to try to clean them--and he is on a blood thinner--so, I guess I made the one ear bleed-  Lord only knows what happened to the other ear! I feel pretty bad!---  But, from now on, the ladies at the hearing clinic said to bring him down (in town) and they will clean them--and they want him to return in a week to make sure all is well-Lord love a Duck! ----So, that is where we were.

Lopez went to his crate while we were in town, and he was not crying when we arrived home---  He is growing up!--Beau, the German, was baby sitting him!

So, all for to-day-- The Hummingbirds are en route to your parts of the world-We still have a couple stragglers---Hopefully all is well in your  world! Hugs to you all--

  1. Sorry to hear about himself's ears. I'm glad you were able to find out what was going on and that the people at the clinic are helping him. Don't feel too guilty, you were only trying to help!

  2. Doing your best to care for him is the most you can ask of yourself. He got the care he needed and you have a plan going forward. The hummingbirds seem to have left NH while we were in Maine last week. Rainy day today and tonight but I am looking forward to getting out and clean up all the gardens the next few days.

  6. Glad the clinic will look after himself's ears from now on. It is NOT your fault! A lot of older people have hearing loss/issues with ears for a lot of reasons. Stop blaming yourself for these issues - you are a wonderful person who does so much. And maybe Lopez is starting to be better behaved. Take care and have a good evening.

  7. Glad the ear people will take care of Himself’s ears, so no more trials doing that. You have guts, Lynda, I must say! Your hummers will leave soon enough, too. Take care. Good night.

With Himself's ears...well, you learned something. Maybe the girls at the hearing clinic could show you how to safely do it at home?
Lopez growing up? Who knew ;-)
