Perhaps the Queen's visit was just too much for her!

We woke this morning to news of Queen Elizabeth, at 96, not doing so well-- It has been on the news all morning--I know that not too long ago, she visited us in our kitchen--Perhaps the trip here was too much for her!

She certainly has been a Queen all her life and a well liked  one by many-Hopefully she survives this upset!

It is beautiful day here--not too hot--not too cold--And it's "hair Day"--which means that Himself has to look after Lopez when I go for the hair Do------ and--WE STILL HAVE A COUPLE  OF  those Hummingbirds flying around the feeders-!

I hope that yer day is going well--It seems like a good --to have a great day!

2pm---  I just heard that the Queen passed-- I do feel very sad--

  1. I have been reading the news of the Queen as well and wishing her well again. Is anybody coming to sit with himself while you are gone to the hairdressers? Hope everything goes fine for you today also. We are in Maine through the weekend so the hummingbirds maybe gone when we get home on Monday.

  2. Enjoy your hair appointment! Do not fret about the birdies! Mother Nature has been taking care of them for decades. Body clock.

  4. It's always a good day to have a good day ;-)
Love the photo! I will need to do a google search to see about the Queen. I don't watch the news...too much negativity, but have to find out about her. I am sure many people are praying.
We all make our transition to Spirit. Let's hope it's not her time yet.
    Hope Himself does well with Lopez. {{{HUGS}}}

  6. This is from the NY Times: Updates: Queen Elizabeth II, Britain’s Beacon of Stability, Dies
Buckingham Palace said the queen, who was 96, died peacefully at Balmoral Castle, her estate in the Scottish Highlands. Her son became Britain’s new monarch, King Charles III.

  8. Sorry to hear about the passing of your queen. That is sad. I am also sad she never made it to visit you, Lynda!! Maybe she will visit on the way to her new "home".

Hope everything went well with himself and Lopez.

  9. I join you in mourning the passing of the Queen. May King Charles III have a better reign that Charles II did!

Perhaps your "tea with the Queen" will take place in heaven one day. Take your Paddington Bear and sandwich along...

What an amazing life of service!

Hoping Fred did ok with Lopez in your absence. Wish you could find someone to stay with him when you need to be away for a while.

  12. At least the Queen will be back with her prince - I expect she must have really missed him. We'll have to see how people accept Charles. Can't you find anyone to stay with himself and Lopez?

  14. I am afraid I would not put up with a dog who bites the hands that feed
said dog...........Perhaps he is meant for someone who has other Chihuahuas......just a thought.

God rest the Queen...so sorry to hear of this great lady passing, but now she is with her beloved Phillip. Charles does not have the likeable personality his Mom did, and no one has forgotten how badly he treated Diana -
