ReplyDeleteOhhhhh I see the colors are starting on your trees. Seeing a TINY hint of that on some of the trees. BUT still plenty of green.
ReplyDeleteOHHHHH NO! Sorry to hear that Beau decided to chase after the fox.
LOL! Kawasaki indeed. Glad son #2 landed in Japan safely. PHEW.
The schools here started on Wednesday – weird to me – we never started before Labor Day, but new age we live in! I guess my kids did start before Labor Day, too, now that I think about it.
OHHHHHHHHHHH my goodness. I saw the original series on PBS years ago and read James Herriot’s books. WONDERFUL. And saw season 1 and 2 of the new PBS All Creatures Great and Small. SUCH a sweet series and . . . season 3 will start in January! Hurray! Just love the animals. Enjoy the books. I still have them. Just sweet stories.
Yes, we always have to get up! As MY Mom would say, don’t let the turkey’s keep you down. So . . . I won’t! LOL

Our weather was cooler this morning and now I am wearing jeans. But you're right It is always exciting to enter a new season. We have about 22 days left of summer though.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.

We are having a second beautiful fall-like day in a row. Warmer weather is coming for the kids returning to school but I think we will have more cooler days ahead. I absolutely love this kind of weather!
ReplyDeleteHow those little birds fly to Mexico and Central America for the winter is mystifying...so tiny. We have the feeder out now, and next year I plan to get another one. You may laugh - but about a month ago, we had the Hummer come to our door and hover til we looked....it was like where is our food??????????? Dinner anyone?????????? So I jumped up and washed it and filled it up and took it around to the back and hung it. Now, he asked politely..............and is funny, he will look in the kitchen window and watch me while I fix coffee & a bite for David.
ReplyDeleteI know you will love the books as much as I did!
ReplyDeleteI have not seen hummingbirds around here. We do have lots of feral cats. Wish we could do a TNR for them to stop them procreating. And take them all to a no kill shelter.
Today is National Wildlife Day in the US. Love them all.
Come to think of it, we can be pretty wild sometimes, too, huh?
