Our dinner was wrecked-- Son#1 saved the day!

An old picture--  with Tess and Beau at the lake--the 2 Germans-- Tess has passed now--and the Chihuahua  , Lopez is  here--He does look like a Chihuahua angel in the picture--but---well, yu know that he is a mighty strange  dog with a crazy personality which we hope will change for the better soon!

As I type, the Queen is on a 6 hr trip thru Scotland--well, her body is on the trip--Hopefully she is in the great beyond, with Phillip---It is on all the Canadian channels-- and when I turn the TV on to CNN, it is Sept 11th--ceremonies---that horrible day  that changed the world! ----

Himself has become very hostile --last evening --AND this morning--- You see, yesterday evening, around supper time, I took Lopez out to do his business along the back road-- while I was gone, a Terriacki dinner  was dropped all over the floor--Himself dropped it--

"No problem", I said---  "I'll get a pizza out of the freezer--"---

Well, the pizza ended up being  burnt--looked like charcoal---Himself forgot it on the BBQ---

I wanted to cry-- but--about that moment, Son#1  walked in, with the Har Gou --He had steamed them for us to try--so--that was supper--  I have decided that at dinner time, I will never leave Himself to deal with the meal-- He just cannot to it anymore-

This was taken from our dock yesterday --It was so peaceful down there--Beau was there with me--

I have a man hanging from a ladder--on the sunroom roof- He is here right now----some of the nails are leaking over the sunroom-need to be replaced---

-Enjoy yer day--Stay strong--- There is no time for "woosies" (Is that a word?)-in the world right now-- Be kind to people too--and to Pilots--and to Chihuahuas-It's the right thing to do!-
Lord love a duck!-------I'll talk again to-morrow!--big hugs----

  2. I am sure the Queen is happy now...no pain, no worries, at peace. We will all get there someday.
What lovely photos from your dock!
I will need go Google that food from your son. Sounds Asian, but I need to find out what it is.
This afternoon I am taking two of my friends to a neighboring town to one of our favorite restaurants. I don't often eat fried food, but they have the best fish! The other ladies love their soft serve ice cream. I have never tried it. Maybe today.
Hope your roof gets fixed now. Leaks are not happy and can make the wood rot.
    Good vibes! Maybe they will help Himself...{{{HUGS}}}

  6. Little Lopez does look like a little doggie angel! So sorry about your dinner but how wonderful that Son came along with Har Gau - they look delicious! It must be so hard for you to see himself change so much. I have a great deal of respect for you. We are not seeing so much about the Queen but like you, I do hope she's with Phillip now. I'm sure she missed him very much!

  9. Hi Lynda, (Sparkpeople1951 here)
I am going to enter it that way because I have problems with entering my name and I hate being known as anonymous

That picture of Beau is so nice. My nephew has a German Shepard, and his name is Dozer. Dozer is a marshmellow.
Everything looks so calm at your place- don't you wish it would stay like that all the time. We are getting your hummingbirds. I read somewhere that you should keep up the feeder 2 weeks after seeing the last one. They say the stranglers are the immature birds and old ones. They remember where they found food on their way south.
I miss Sparkpeople, I miss talking to all my "friends". I am on People One Health(used to be sparkpeople). I gained 3# when sparkpeople ended and I have not lost it yet!! What is wrong with me? I still walk everyday-eat healthy foods and drink my water. Go figure.
Have a great evening. (It has rained most of the day here in Michigan)

  12. Glad your son arrived in the nick of time, for sure. What did he say about all that dropped or messed up food? Scary what else can happen. Breathe slowly and rest back if you can, what a strain you are under.
