1.Get up---2.Survive--3. Go back to bed!

It's "the Survive" thing---  that is the reason that I am later than late, blogging-- We had about 100 ft of snow fall, all day yesterday and all night-- so, to  get Lopez out to do this business, I had to snowblow-
This is what we look like ----  It is an old picture, but--- we look just  like this now--  You can see Tess on the driveway in this picture -- (who has gone to doggie Heaven--)-but , you get the idea--
This was taken this morning--AFTER I snow blew-- plus, we could not get out the driveway ---  I had to call Son#2 the Air Canada Pilot to ask him how to snowblow a wall of snow almost the same hight as me---He told me to go very slow--which I did, as the snowplough had ploughed tons of snow across our driveway.

I thought today was Thursday --Hair Day---  but--it is Wednesday ---Good thing it is not Thursday as I would never have got into town.--

Now if any of you feel the need for snow---  we do have lots of it, and I am willing to share--- --I could ask Son#3, the {Pilot) to drop it over your house--It would certainly  help me out with all this shovelling----

How is your day going?---  Are you happy to see the end of Christmas?-  I certainly am!--Did you enjoy all the food?--Did you cook a turkey?--

And now I shall take my book and get a wee rest-I am reading the "Calder Series"-- I am on Book #3 -I believe there are 11 books in the series-by Janet Daily----  not a bad read--

Always stay strong---
You never know when a ton of snow may be dumped on you!

  1. You sure have a lot of snow! Thank goodness you have that snowblower like mine. Snow on the ground here in Ohio but haven’t needed the blower yet. Going to be 50 this week! I did not make a turkey. I grew up having ham and turkey for every holiday. When you have it for Thanksgiving and then Christmas, it is way too close together. So, a few years ago, I got the idea from my husband’s family to make a different meal for Christmas. I made a prime rib and scallops. So much better than a turkey repeat. I do love turkey but just need something different sometimes. I have my 14 year old nephew this week who loves to eat so you know what that means for me! Lol Hope you can get to your hair day tomorrow. Take care and stay safe!:)

  2. Lord! YOU have a LOT of snow. You are a superwoman to get all that done! Today our temperature went ABOVE FREEZING! Amazing. Hazy sunshine. But don't think that will last.

Well, honestly, we haven’t had our Christmas yet, as the kids were sick. BUT DS (the chef) has offered to cook Christmas dinner! OK, I’ll be there!

  4. Oh my gosh! You do have a ton of snow!!!! We have windy and warming temps today and all the snow is melting away! I shoveled for over an hour yesterday....guess I could have waited until today and it would have mostly melted by itself - Oh well! I did go out and take down all my outside Christmas lights and decorations. It was a bit chilly but I decided not to wait until tomorrow when it is even warmer because there is a 50% chance of rain and I wouldn't want to be out there in the rain! Glad it is finished....took down 16 strands of net lights, 3 strands of lighted garland and 6 large hanging ornaments from the porch! Hate getting up on the ladder, but I took my time! I guess tomorrow I will tackle the inside decorations! I admire your tenacity! I hope that in 5 more years when I am 80 that I have your energy! You never seem to slow down!

  5. Wow, that's JUST TOO MUCH snow! Funny what you get used to. I'm in Ohio too, Central Ohio, we got that -5 degree weather and blowing snow - 3 or 4 inches, and now we have 45 degrees! And going up to the 50's by New Years. That's Ohio weather for you!

  6. Boy you have a ton of snow. Be careful with all the shoveling and snow blowing. Too much work. Get your sons over to help. I'm done with Christmas. It's supposed to get warmer and rainy in the next few days which will make it messy. Relax with your book and get some rest.

  8. Oh dear Lynda...that is a ton of snow. I'm impressed you did the entire Driveway! I sure wish you had help.
Read your book, relax as you earned it.
Yes. I'm glad Christmas is over. I baked a small ham as we were home alone.
    Take care dear lady.
Hope you can get out for hair day tomorrow with some pampering and conversation.

  9. So much work moving snow around. Using energy that could be used for enjoying life. A thought for all of us to ponder. And make our future plans. So glad you have a hair day tomorrow! For yourself! Watch out for the roads. Do you need bananas?

  10. Janet Dailey is great! I have read many of her books. If you like a bit of 'spice' try Linda Lael Miller.
We don't need your snow here in Minnesota...our is melting a bit with temps in the mid 30sF today. But more will undoubtedly fall before spring.
Glad you can get help with the snow. Still concerned about you over-extending yourself.
    Be safe! Find something to be happy about. We do need to count our blessing. One of mine is...YOU. {{{HUGS}}}

  11. Wow! What a lot of snow! They keep skipping us in the snowfall department, and we have a drought going, so, sure, I'll take you up on the offer to "airlift" us some! You don't have to give it ALL to us, as there are other parts of the plains down here in even worse shape... but you know, it might prevent another dust bowl, if you know what I mean!

Hugs & extra energy waves wafting your way!
