I must warm up the car-- It is plugged in--something we do in the north, on very cold nights , to keep something warm in the engine-so it will start ---
I am away to get bananas--and gasoline--- so--I will talk to you all later-- I hear that we will not have any more plastic bags at the grocery--I will see about that when I get to the store-- Those bags were so good for cat litter-OKAY---I must warm up the car---- "
Keep your chin up--Remember those 4 stages of life---Lord love a Duck!----- AND---- Don't forget to--Believe in yourself-- YOU CAN DO ANYTHING! (If I can snowplow , --well-yu know)

ReplyDeleteLove the 4 states of life. Definitely true!
Good luck w/your shopping expedition. We haven’t been affected by that, but I know several states are doing away w/plastic bags. I recycle them, and I hope they don’t go away!
Stay safe, stay warm.

Happy errand-running! Stay warm & safe! ❤️ Eissa7
ReplyDeleteBe safe on that shopping trip. And may they have bananas for you!
ReplyDeleteOur City did away with plastic bags a few years ago at grocery and other retail stores. Reusable bags that the shopper brought or puchased in-house was the replacement. Slowly, but surely, most places have plastic bags again. Sanitary issues in the resuable bags became an issue.
ReplyDeleteIt's really cold here today too. Won't even get above zero and tomorrow the wind picks up. And it's snowing! I hope your trip to the grocery store goes well. My plan is to stay in the house for the next several days!
ReplyDeleteLynda, you use your plastic store bags like I do...clean the litter box, tie the bag up tight so odor doesn't escape, every couple days or so when I take out the trash, be sure to take that bag, too! What will we do without them...use bags made for food storage? That would be way too expensive! Sigh. Another thing to figure out. Seems like those things never end!
ReplyDeleteLopez is a good boy. He will love it (along with the rest of us) when spring comes!
Happy shopping. Hope it goes well, without too many stops.
Love the Santa Claus thing. Must save that and send it to my ex-husband. He has grown a long white beard! {{{HUGS}}}
Years ago some cities did away with plastic bags, but discovered reusables kept germs growing, or needed repeated washing, which was not good either (detergents and wasted water)! I use them to line small waste baskets, or as trash bags, like you said. Population control would help more, simply too many people all over the place. No one cares.
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! So true! I hope you found the best bananas in town. Happy Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteLove the 4 stages of life...too cute.
ReplyDeleteBe warm and safe in your banana quest.
There are countless uses for plastic bags. Hoping bags continue to be available in stores.
Hugs
Love the 4 stages of life! I use the plastic bags for garbage cans, wrapping things up, etc. There are so many uses and I'm already using up my stock. I'm hoping that boxes of garbage bags will still be sold. We're getting that terrible storm starting later tomorrow and Friday is not a day to go anywhere so they're saying now.
