Always believe in the impossible!

I LOST MORE WEIGHT!-----That's why I love the above saying-- because, I was on Spark forever, and I had so much to learn there, that I struggled with weight loss-- I was 217 pounds--went down a bit, but , now I have lost more--182.5   ------Always believe in the impossible!-----My goal is 165---- and finally I believe it is attainable! ----  Lord love a Duck!--AND-----  if I can do it, anyone can!

So, we have VERY cold temperatures--no snow falling to-day (I hope!)---No trip to town--- Rusty , the furnace man is coming  soon--to clean the furnace. He has been coming here since he was a teenager, it seems!---He left us a year ago and went to live in the Yukon--says he is back now forever!

So , how is this weight falling off?--(I know you must be asking!)--well, shovelling snow is a big part--- having a chihuahua puppy is also  helping-- and you know, sometimes I look at a plateful of dinner, and I can't eat it all-- I used to---  so I dump it!--- and grocery shopping, I decided not to but any cakes etc --- If we want a cake, it's up to me to make it--I think that helps too--because I certainly don't have time to make too many  cakes--but-- I do make a lot of apple sauce-----AND----  I am not allowing Himself to go to McDonalds hardly at all--trying to cook more veggies--

We really are stronger than we seem--- and we all are extremely smart---- because we run a household--and we do it well-!
So, until to-morrow, I must smile-- turn up the music--- dance a tad-- and hug  my dogs--oh--and Himself!

  1. Good on you Lynda! Yes, not buying treats at the store removes the temptation from us. Applesauce is a healthier choice for sure. No doubt shoveling snow burns calories plus you are forever running after and doing for Fred, Lopez and Beau.
Happy for you! Keep up the great work. You Rock!
Yes, hug Fred today, dance, play the piano and don't forget to Laugh!
    Stay warm and healthy.

  4. You are doing so good with the weight - congrats! You have actually changed your thought process about things to buy and that is great. And making applesauce instead of cake! You are strong and smart! Stay warm.

  6. Way to Go, Lynda!!! How great to get on that scale and see the pounds drop off. I find that I can't eat as much as I used to either. I think that's a positive sign. Haven't been able to do much since my knee surgery - just the physical therapy exercises. I think today I will get on the bike for just a few minutes. It's been 10 days now and I'm starting to be able to sleep just a bit more.

Keep up the great work. Take care of Lopez and keep the snow path for him - you will be 165 before you know it!!!

  7. Congratulations on the weight release! YOU CAN DO IT.

VERY cold here, too. At least the sun is out.

HOPE that the furnace is working well! Glad your Rusty is back!

Yes, dogs and snow shoveling . . . that adds to weight release. Good for you w/portion control. Good for you limiting McDonald’s.

Definitely we are stronger than we seem. Yes. . . a smile and a dance, a hug and a puppy lick . . . they all help.

Hugs and have a good Tuesday.

  12. It’s the snow shoveling, giving you more muscles than you can see! Wonderful. But bring your Himself his McDonalds, No point in him being miserable. Take care. Spark is in the past, just fine.

  13. Congratulations on the scale moving down. The higher activity level is a help. Keep doing what you've been doing and you WILL get there.

  14. You lost more weight! That's great! When the snow shoveling is done, there will be gardening for exercise, always walking and...the dreadmill. Put on some music or turn on a tv while you do it.

My son sent me my flight information for my trip to join him and his family on the big island. In 19 days I will be warm. But after about 12 days will come back to MN and similar temps to yours. We got a few more inches of the white stuff, too. Some people enjoy the winter sports. Like your family and ice fishing. Not for me anymore.

    Will go fishing this summer in a lovely MN lake. Sooner...swimming in a huge pool and the Pacific ocean...and being in the water with dolphins! Oh, I can hardly wait. Wish I could take you and yours with me! {{{HUGS}}}
