and--WE HAVE SNOW!

This is what we look like right now--WE HAVE a TON OF SNOW--everywhere!  And if you look closely at picture #2, you can see a path shovelled to the propane tank and for Lopez-- You see, he cannot walk in that much snow--so--this morning, at 5am, in the dark, I was out re-shovelling his trail across the front yard.--I never thought he would go out, because the temperature is minus--MINUS--20.8C ----  I put a wee pad down, but, Lopez went right out--with bis wee Parka on--and did both bis business'--bless his heart eh?--He truly is a Chihuahua from Heaven---(at least this morning!)

So, maybe that is why the weight loss for me----  all the shovelling--Lord love a Duck!-----You see, I cannot use the snowblower and the guy who is supposed got do our driveway, never appears till about 3pm--It was a huge blizzard yesterday too!

Now doesn't this look so much better?-- It was taken 2 years ago--our Granddaughter on Hawaiian Heat island, just down the lake from us! --Summer  will return to the north one day--It can't be soon enough!-- Here I am wishing my life away-- *S*--

So, I will leave you all for now--  Lord love a Duck!- I heard that Himself's one ear has returned from getting fixed--I just might pick it up later--  Lord love a Duck! --  Good thing I have a megaphone to talk to him when he is upstairs-

  4. HOLY IGLOO, Lynda! You sure do have lotsa snow!

Awwwww, definitely little Lopez did a great job! THAT’S COLD for humans, but think of having to do your biz outside and being so close to the ground! OY. No fun.

Nice to have a picture to remind us . . . warm, more weather-gentle days are coming! NOT SOON ENOUGH, though.

  5. Yikes that's a lot of Snow! Bless you for shoveling path for Lopez at such an early hour!
Yep, that shoveling sure does count as exercise. If you asked him, can your snow guy show up earlier in the day.
Happy Lopez did his duty outside.
Stay warm and safe. SPRING IS COMING!!!!!

  7. Wow - what a lot of snow. And lots of shoveling for Lopez and propane guy. At least it's exercise for losing weight! Good on Lopez for doing his business outside in it. Maybe he is getting climatized! You should see if your snowplow guy will come earlier in the day.

  9. Your snow is suppose to get here tomorrow. . . not looking forward to that. My knee surgery originally scheduled for today was cancelled at the last minute because the doctor wasn't feeling well and had to be tested for covid.

  10. My arthritis-ridden body aches even more looking at that much snow! If Lopez doesn't have winter, outdoor booties you might look into those. A friend who used to live in one of our northern states used booties for her dogs of all sizes to keep their paw pads from freezing and cracking. Keep warm and cozy.

  15. Oh my goodness, that is a big bunch of snow!!! And icicles ... we get snow once or twice a winter or not at all. And it always melts away in a day or so at longest.

That's a bunch of shoveling, lots of exercise and calories burned. Good on Mr. Lopez, getting right out there as he should ... he's doing amazingly well.

  16. We have not got your beautiful (but difficult to deal with) snow yet. Just freezing cold. Brrr...My car said -8F (-22.2222C)! Almost as cold as you are. It had already warmed up a couple of degrees.

I go for my hearing aids to the Minneapolis VA next Wednesday. Then I will be able to hear as well as Himself!

You said weight loss cuz of shoveling, but not how much. Doesn't really matter to me. Just (if we were still on Spark) remember to count is...both strength and cardio in my mind!

Lopez is a perfect little guy. It just took a while to get him there.

  17. Wow, so much snow, Remember to pace yourself with the shoveling, and take care how you lift the shovel. Not saying it would happen to you but I buggered up my shoulder a few years back shoveling snow. I don't want that to happen to you.
