Always sparkle!

This is winter in the Canadian North--Look at all the little feet! --Everyone takes off their boots and they are left at the door----So, It is a tad warmer to-day--minus 16C or something ---- mild enough that little Lopez, the little Chihuahua  can walk a bit with me on the back road----He loves that!---  And it is supposed to go up to minus 7C or something.

Well, I turned on the computer this AM, and there is another email , probably letting me know of all the terrible stuff that is going to happen to me, because I never sent the Bitcoins---I don't know because I didn't open it--There are so many "crazies" around eh?--I also went thru  my friends list on Facebook, and anyone with a weird looking picture plus anyone  "male"---  I deleted---Isn't it sad what this world has come to?--Son#3, the Policeman and the Community Liaison Officer for our town, sez he gets  many many calls daily from people who get all kinds of scammers   trying to interrupt their life-- ---And, poor Willow said I had sent her an email, asking for money---  WHICH WASN"T REALLY FROM ME----  I would NEVER EVER DO THAT! --I must post that on Facebook--

Other than all that "crap"----  life is good--- We have a lot of snow--- but---it's looking like a clear day beginning here to-day--The kids have their ice hut down the lake, and son #3 even brought us a fresh  Trout , last night, all filleted--  We ate it for supper!  It wasn't even fishy--  really good!

I must keep calm---  I sure appreciated all yer advice yesterday--  and I felt better after reading it all--good friends are the best!
Lord love a duck! --I'll talk to y'all to-morrow!

  1. It is so hard to keep all the hackers out of ones computer and one has to be on guard all the time. I had a call saying that Revenue Canada was sending the police, I said great, can't wait and hung up. Didn't get that call again.

  6. I have had that happen to me a few times . . . letters requesting $$$ being sent w/my e-mail and name. That's a huge scam. "I had my wallet/purse stolen and have no credit cards. Blah Blah Blah". Or my favorite, "I am on vacation and forgot about my cousin/niece/nephew's birthday. Can you sent me a gift card so I can send it to them?" Yeah, running out to do it right now . . . NOT. Glad you just ignored the e-mail, and deleted any suspicious contacts. If I don't know you, you are not in my contacts!

Happy that the weather is a little milder so Little lopez can go for a little walk with you.

We're @ -4C but by Wednesday supposed to be about -14 for a high and much colder @ night. Dressing in layers! Will look like nanook of the north!

  8. A phone scam that makes the rounds here is getting a phone call from a jail operator saying that a grandchild is in trouble and needs your immediate assistance ($$'s). The first time I got that call, I asked the caller which grandchild and the location and while they stammered I said it's odd since I had no children I have no grandchildren. They hung up quicker than I could.

  9. The fresh fish meal sounds wonderful, you are lucky to have that! Yes, the jerks sending stuff by computer should be hung….one wonders they can’t be found.

  10. It is really sad the way the world has changed! I'm so sorry this has happened to you. It is such an invasion of our privacy and does give us a sickening feeling. You did the right thing. I never open anything suspicious or answer any calls from names I don't know. Our problem over the past year or so is someone stealing our debit card number and a credit card we only use on-line. It's happened many times. Makes me want to stop using internet 😒 I hope you have a better day...I love the pic of those little shoes ❤

  11. Today we got the big snowstorm. Supposed to get a total of 40 - 60 cm. What a mess. They say it will take about 3 days to clean all roads. Couldn't go anywhere. They say it's the worst we've had in over 25 years! Hope you didn't get it. Glad Lopez is getting used to life in the north and likes walking with you. Your fish dinner sounds good. Ignore the emails and delete.

Temps a bit better YAY. Lopez out for a walk YAY
Hoping your daughter is ok as Ohio got a lot of snow and power outages.
A pan ready trout sounds delicious. Nice that the boys share their ice house bounty.
Enjoy your day! Be well and warm.
