Guess who is coming to dinner?

Guess who is here?----  Son #2--the Pilot----  with Gerard----his beautiful dog--  -- So--- I shall post another blog later--- Hugs---

Almost 5pm---  I am back---  I have a few minutes here to add something about our day--
First of all, it is wonderful to have Son#2, the Air Canada Pilot-- AND GERARD ---Gerard is the best dog I have ewer met----well of course  Beau is pretty good too--
So, poor Beau had a huge mess this AM--- in the dining room--on the rug--so, that was how I spent an hour this morning, with the rug shampoo-er-- I dunno if it was his nerves with a new dog around, or a "bug"-but--I high tailed it to the Vet and begged and pleaded for a few Diarrhea pills--antibiotics--which seems to have stopped the problem in its tracks--One cannot live without a rug shampoo-er when one owns dogs--
Of course we have light snow falling--which has been falling all day-- Son #2  got out the snow blower and widened the drive--
And that is about "IT" ----
I nearly forgot to tell yu-- --You're looking gorgeous! -----Wouldn't it be wonderful if some one told you that every day?-

  6. How wonderful to have him with you, after his having to postpone his earlier visit. (I know we're not supposed to play favorites, but...Son #2 gets a lot of extra points for checking in on you no matter where in the world he's landed.)

  13. Gerard is a beautiful dog. Bet he does not shed either so a lot less hair to vacuum. And so easy to train. Love his coat. He can probably handle the cold a lot better than Lopez, and such a pretty colour.

  15. Glad son #2 finally got to visit. What a long drive this time of year especially with the snowstorm we had on Monday. Hope he's there for a few days. Gerard is absolutely gorgeous and he looks like he's such a good dog. Hope all the dogs get along and that Beau feels better.

  16. Oh dear, the doggie diarrhea! Have had that a few times, and...it's a mess! So far, my Gerard lookalike doggie Jake hasn't had any of that in the house; but he's had a few times he's frantically woken me from his crate in the middle of the night to go out and have a case of what my friend calls "the Hershey Squirts." I'd insert a picture of Jake here, but I don't know how! But that's him as a pup on my lap in my Profile pic.

  18. Hello to Son #2 The Pilot! My son works for United so we're practically family, right? Enjoy your visit with your Mum. WE all think she's pretty darn wonderful. Come see me in Adelaide Australia if you ever land here! Cheers!

  19. So nice to have Son #2 come for a visit, and nice that he widened the driveway for you. I hope it cheered himself to have him there as well. I hope Beau is feeling better.
    Have a great evening

  20. Son #2 and Gerard are looking handsome. Sorry for Beau and his digestive mishap. Could well be anxiety related to a "new" animal in the house. After all, it's not that long since Lopez came to stay. Hope that post-vetting he's all OK again.

Stay safe and warm this weekend!

  21. Oh, I'm so glad you got to spend time with Son #2!!! And Gerard!! So sorry Beau had a tummy issue; that's when it would be nice to have NO carpet, just tile or linoleum.
