Put me on a Plane , fly me to ANYWHERE~!

In the depths of winter, there is "summer" somewhere- This is a photo of Alamowana Beach, in Honolulu--Son #2 was just there-- It is nice to know that some where in this world, there is no cold!~

Wouldn't it be so dream-y to  fly  to Hawaii?

So, I asked Himself yesterday, "Do you like your new pillows?"--and he replied, "Yes, they hold my head more upright!"--And he even went on to say, "That one pillow I had was really bad-- very flat!"---

Now why on earth did he kick up such a ruckus when I ordered them?-- Women quite often have to just "take the bull by the horns",  (That is my Mom talking!)- and do what they feel is right.---  Of course I had to order these 4 pillows online, and they took forever to get here.

So, Lopez is doing OK---  He slept in his larger, new crate last night, beside our bed (on my side)- with a small heater on low, in our room, and he did not cry-We actually got some sleep.----And he slept till 6am--

And that is about all to talk to you about to-day---I must get out to shovel--more snow falling ---  It is never ending---

Lord love a Duck---  WE are beginning to feel like these men-----

  1. Good Morning Lynda, Finally we have a day with no snow coming down, but still very cold out there. Have you thouhgt about getting a heated bed for Lopez? That would be an alternate solution to having a heater on. Today I must get my order put into the grocery store for pickup. I need fresh fruit and bananas.

  3. Happy Wednesday, Lynda! No hurricanes is good. No alligators is good. No snakes (at least this time of year) is good.

Stay safe and warm! Oh, and I was so excited... the bananas were THERE in my order at the grocery this morning. Doesn't take a whole lot to get us excited, does it?

  4. Yep, that's how I feel. We don't have too much snow but, of course, on Friday when I have to be at the clinic for my knee surgery at 6 am (who gets up that early!!!) - they are predicting snow! I would love to go with you to Hawaii!!!

  6. Good morning, Lynda! Oh how I would love to fly to that beautiful beach or anywhere, to be honest.

Lopez is doing better, yay 🥳 He is such a little guy, I know he's easy to chill. My little dog was. Glad Himself "admits" he likes his new pillow...why are husbands like that?😳

  7. Wow between taking care of Lopez and shoveling all that snow no wonder the weight journey is going ok for you. So happy you all got some sleep tonight. Yes Hawaii is nice this time of year, but the Hawaiians get cold when it drops below 75

  8. Great pictures. Like Hawaii much better than the snow and hurricanes though! You are getting so much snow this year - be careful shoveling. Glad everyone got to sleep last night. Life is better when you have had some sleep!

  10. I will let you know how dreamy it is to fly to Hawaii! I've only a bit over a month to wait.

Now I have to box up all the stuff under my kitchen sink and bathroom sink. The plumbers are coming to repair valves or something. OUT WATER WILL BE OFF MONDAY AND TUESDAY! Now I might have to search out a gas station to do my morning duty. Ugh!

I knew Lopez would be fine eventually. Does Sushi sleep in your bedroom, too? How do the two of them get along?

    Happy himself likes his pillows. I love MyPillow, too. {{{HUGS}}}

  11. YAY you and Lopez got sleep.
    Where does Sushi Sleep?
Does Beau sleep in your bedroom too?
Nice that Fred admitted liking the new pillows. Men...who can figure them out?
    Don't work too hard shoveling.
    Spring IS coming.
Pleasant in St.Louis today as it was sunny and 52 degrees. I walked in the park.
    Have a great evening.

  12. Perhaps it's time to get out the old easel and paints and choose your favorite summer lake photo and commit it to canvas as a frequent reminder that warmer days are ahead.

  14. I'm so glad the heater worked for Lopez. It's hard for anyone to sleep when they are cold. I did not comment yesterday as you were getting some good advice from others. The one thing I might have added would be to distract Lopez when he keeps pestering Beau, possibly with a game of tug. But Beau will let him know when enough is enough. An older dog will growl with ears back and possibly snap at the puppy. Chances are Beau's patience is more than you expect or you would have seen some reaction by now.
    Have a good evening

  15. Oh, so glad Lopez slept and you were also able to! He's so little, maybe he could have one of those little mostly-enclosed cat beds... they look like a cross between an igloo and a tee-pee. Maybe that would keep him warm enough without having to run a heater?
