- Wc went to town yesterday-- "Town" is only about 9 miles south of us! ------I really wanted to head in there to-day but --- there is so much Covid in town and around the area that it's probably best to stay home for now-- Even our hospital has covid cases with the staff-

First of all, you need to enable 3rd Party cookies. That will help fix your Whoops errors. So if you're on Firefox, turn off your Enhanced Tracking Protection. If you do not see the comments, you need to click the title of the blog, to separate that blog from the main page or click Comments at the bottom of the blog, either way. It's okay if you double post, the extra ones will be removed soon if they are exactly the same as one before. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteWe are very cold today and are expected a foot of snow on Sunday night into Monday . . .all stocked up so I don't have to go out. Even have a nice crockpot of veggie soup going and some bread rising

Brrr! Glad I live in the south. Of course, we have a winter storm warning for all day tomorrow. We're supposed to get snow and ice with a high of 32F. Hoping for more snow, less ice. More likely to have power issues with ice.
ReplyDeleteWay too cold! It's bad enough here (TO) and it's better than that. Supposed to get a bunch of snow starting tomorrow night but they can't decide how much. Don't think it's going up as far as you - hopefully. I could do that ice fishing on the lake. Rather be inside by the fire with hot chocolate! Poor Lopez!

Spending long periods of time out in the cold does not appeal to me. At all. I watch the youtube videos of this lady in Denmark who goes "winterbathing." She and her friends (and a lot of other folks, apparently) swim all year round, even swimming when the ice is all around them in the water!!!

I would never ever go ice fishing on a lake. I would be terrified that the ice would crack no matter how thick it was. I am a chicken!
ReplyDeleteI said it before in one of your blogs about the boys going to put the ice shack out on the lake. I think all the guys and gals that go out on the ice to fish have lost several brain cells, of course I might be the one with no brains! (((HUGS)))
