Making time for my online friends makes me smile!

These  are Grandchildren--- Both are older now----  A Gramma loves nothing better than holding these children!

--So, I am once again later than late , posting--  We went to town yu see--to Shoppers---and to the gas station--I was looking for vitamins at Shoppers, and would yu believe that there are not too many on their shelves. So, I came home and called them, and their response was that because of the Pandemic, there is a shortage of vitamins --Who would think eh?--She looked on her computer and 3 bottles of Probiotics will arrive to-morrow in their store--3 BOTTLES! ---  Lordy Be! ---  So, I ordered 2 in our name---Hopefully I can pick them up tomorrow--- Some kind of snow storm is heading our way to-morrow----  I hope I can get out before it hits!

So, not too much to tell yu all--We have not picked up the Omicron ---  I hope! ---- Lopez went thru a whole day (yesterday)-and did not do his business in the house-- Amazing!--- --Maybe there is hope! --

Tis huge fella--a Lynx--has been hanging round the garbage---  which is not far from our house--It wouldn't take much and poor wee Lopez would be devoured! --  I never lot Lopez out alone--  The perils pop living in the North!

  2. Ohhhh, and that looks like a hungry lynx @ that!

Hope you get your probiotics. It is amazing what is in short supply. Yesterday wanted to get some caraway seed. Absolutely none to be found @ 3 stores! WHAAAAATTTT?? Really strange.

    But we'll carry on right!

  3. We have coyotes around and I watch when my little man is out in the back doing his business.

Never thought there would be a vitamin shortage. The strangest things seem to be in storage in areas. I hope you're able to get your vitamins.

  4. It seems there are shortages of everything these days! I'm glad you were able to get what you needed - or at least tomorrow you will. We're also expecting snow later tonight into tomorrow. Makes me wish I lived in the South! Have a good day.

  5. I order all of that stuff on line and if they have free delivery . . .yes please . . .if not I do curbside pick up. I saw a Lynx in our backyard the 1st day we moved into our new house but never again . . .we had a big black bear take down the bird feeder this summer . . .ahh wildlife.

  6. I am thankful for free delivery and pick-up. My husband is not sold on it yet but I think it’s a great thing. Keeps us out of the big box stores while the viruses are raging here! Little Lopez is doing better! He’ll get there. I’ve been looking at puppies again. One day I’m ready then the next, I’m not πŸ™ƒ Stay home during the snow storm if you can. Lots of snow everywhere. Alabama even had snow this week in the northern part of the state! ❄️☃️

  10. Oh dear, I was out shopping yesterday and had I known about the Vitamin shortage, I would have stocked up on the ones I use. I won't be out shopping again for another two weeks, I'll check them at that time.

Oh my, you really need to keep a close distance to Lopez when you take him out to do his business. That huge Lynx looks as though he could be just waiting his chance to snatch up Lopez - what a horrible thought, forgive me Lynda.
Love to all of you. xoxo

  11. No worries, if you are eating normally, you are getting enough vitamins . Otherwise, you are keeping corporations CEO’s going……. Yes, be careful, little Lopez would make a quick snack for that bobcat. We have them here, especially in winter. Keep a good eye out.

  12. I don't take vitamins. I feel as though I get what I need from the food I eat. I have never been told I have a deficiency in any vitamin so why would I pay extra for them when they come naturally in my food.

  13. What a conundrum! You want to keep Lopez safe, but that poor lynx (and its family) needs food too. But you don't want it to get in your garbage! I with there was room for us and the wildlife to live side by side in peace and plents.

So far I haven't had a hard time getting my vitamins and other supplements (tumeric, cranberry and if I am eating dairy, my acidophilus probiotis.

Won't we be glad when this is over and shelves are stocked again, delivery drivers delivering, and hugs all around!

    Here's one for you and yours {{{HUGS}}}

  14. Hooray! Lopez 🀩 maybe should get a star on the calendar for each day he gets it. And the stars will get closer and closer together as time goes on. You can do it! πŸ™πŸ’•πŸŽ‰

  15. Oh - nice looking lynx but that's where his nice ends. Stay far away and make sure Lopez is always close to you and the house. We have a few coyotes here in the city and when we walk I am taking a whistle because they apparently don't like the noise and my cane to protect us. Re the vitamins - didn't know there was a shortage. I usually buy them at Walmart and sometimes they don't have something and I thought it was just their stocking. If you have a Walmart they are much cheaper than Shoppers. Omicron is really bad here and they are having issues with staffing some hospitals, some libraries are closing and some city services will not be able to serve properly. I hope the snowplow guys stay healthy! Apparently all of January and maybe some of February will be real bad so stay safe.

  16. The Lynx is beautiful....but he would make a meal out of Lopez for sure......we had a dusting of snow here in mid Alabama, Monday early...didn't last here, but up on the mountain they got more than we did...The strangest things are in short supply.
You make my day when you post a blog..hugs girlfriend.

  17. Glad you are well. I've been busy with family over the holidays. People came to see me from all over. I met my almost 1 year old Great granddaughter. Happy to have lived to see the 4th generation. Never caught covid and never got the jab. Having cancer and stroke during this time kept me from going anywhere or being exposed. Not driving, yet, but now that cancer is completely gone and have use of my left arm and leg again so that I can walk and do daily activities, I'm thinking 2022 is going to be a very good year for me. God continue to bless.

  18. I get the idea it's going to be another "Winter of survival" for us old-er folk. Hope those vitamins are there for you in the morning and you get to and from safely. Just picked up some vitamin C for my collection today.

One day at a time... keep smiling!

  19. Yay for several things...photos of people we love; aren't we lucky to have technology like that?? And for Mr. Lopez, getting a bit better about his bathroom habits; he's a young little thing still, so doing real well. And for you posting and keeping up with your healthy life.

That lynx is stunning! But, yes, Mr. Lopez would be no match.

I hope you get your vitamins. Have you thought about doing curbside or ordering online? I purchase my multi-vitamins on Amazon because I can't find them in the local health food stores. In the past year or so, of course the advantage is I don't go into the store for them. Because I have Prime I get free shipping, which is a plus. I used to order things for my dad and he'd just reimburse me, as he was not adept at using Amazon. (He eventually learned how and ordered his own things.)

I know the covid is ramping up, and we could get sick. But you know, I think we can just totally enjoy each day rather than spending all the time focused on covid. :D I always enjoy your blogs ...

    Happy Tuesday!

  20. Snow storm coming to MN. tonight through tomorrow. Sounds like it could be rough through evening traffic.
What a beautiful but dangerous cat. We don't have any around us but do have coyotes that we have to watch for with Daisy.
Sorry you aren't getting vitamins there. We don't seem to have a problem finding them here. I hope you can get the 2 you want. Good luck.

  21. If you go out tomorrow, take you time on the roads. It's good you know that lynx is hanging around so you can keep Lopez safer.
You make me smile when I read your blogs. Thank you for being so loyal to us.

  22. Just curious if you have a plan in mind should the Lynx go after Lopez? Time for me to 'Google' for an answer to what actions would help.

  23. Still catch up! I would be worried about Lopez as well. Stay safe! AND keep smiling! you have a great smile! (((HUGS)))
