A day without snow--- Praise the Lord!

We are up---  cold here--BUT---  NO SNOW FALLING!---  It is overcast with freezing rain going to fall to-night and to-morrow--so, we will stay home--

Hmmmm--3 things I need to work on to-day--#1- vacuum a level of this house and dust a room-                        #2 make custards as the milk is nearly outdated and ---#3. --call to get the snow tires off -soon

-and, there really is no-one to help me ---- but--hopefully someone will load the tires in my car one day--

It is a brand new day---  AND , WE ARE IN IT! ---how good is that?---I suppose some of you will be going out,--I am staying home here-- so happy to be home ALL DAY-- I HOPE! --  Yesterday, I shovelled decks---walkways to the basement patio--the path to the propane tank--in front of the shed--I came inside, too pooped to pop!--I never remember my Mom having to do all that--but, I never remember having this much snow, growing up.

This morning, while out with the dogs, I heard a different bird calling--  He must have just arrived from his home down South-- I couldn't see it--but, it felt good to  know that something has returned to the great white north.

The ice shacks are off the lake, and  the temperatures  are rising slightly--AND---  NO SNOW PLOUGH CAME DOWN THE BACK ROAD YESTERDAY-----AND I CAN NOW SEE GRAVEL OUT BY OUR GATE---ever so slight signs of Spring-

-just to remind you, it is almost time for that Easter Bunny-- to show up--- I am seeing these rabbit ears in stores -

--Whatever is happening in your life, I hope you make to-day the best day ever--  knowing that you can do just about everything, if you have a positive attitude--and, if things do not work out--  what does it ,matter--maybe things sometimes  change--for the better---

--------and we can change the world-- It really is in our hands to make a difference--

  1. So happy to hear that it isn't snowing there today. We have had a lot of rain and most of the snow is gone except for the large piles in the parking lots of malls and grocery stores. They will take a long time to melt. Enjoy your day.

Hope a son stops by to load your tires. May have to wait a bit to make that appointment.
Hoping today is a bit easier for you. Enjoy your day in. Custard sounds fabulous. I haven't had that in such a long time.

Mild temps here but more severe rain, wind etc on the way.

  3. "Too pooped to pop"! I can identify with that! Yesterday, my 15 year old grandson (who is nursing a sore ankle and limping from a soccer game the day before) came to help me mow. I cautioned him about low spots to avoid as the zero turn might get stuck. Since he was limping I took the push mower out and tried to mow as much as I could with it. It was hard to do.....and then of course, grandson got the zero turn mower stuck. He was mortified and said "Grandma, what area we gonna do now?" I laughed and went and got the tractor and chain and pulled him out! He was surprised. (Little did he know that I have gotten my self stuck a couple of times in the past!) So I was too pooped to pop after a hard afternoon in the yard. Sun is shining here and warmer....but severe storms are predicted again tonight. But catico is tucked away in my garage this time so I don't have to worry about it flying in the wind again! My tasks today include washing utility room window inside and out, burning dried shrub cutting in my burn barrel and going to the store as I am out of milk and need to shop for Easter dinner! So glad that you are seeing seeing signs of spring and not more snow!

  4. Glad there’s no snow for you @ the moment. Hope that the freezing snow doesn’t materialize.

I can only imagine that you are pooped after all that snow removal.

Have a great day! WE will MAKE it a good day.

  6. It's Kathy here. I'm glad the snow has stopped and I really hope you start getting some warm weather to melt what you have. It's raining where I am today with thunder now and then but north of us they are getting snow. Where my son lives they could get another 16 inches! I am hopeful the spring will come. Looks like we will finally see some 50 degree days this weekend! Have a good day!

  7. No snow here in NH . . . maybe some freezing rain tomorrow but they aren't really sure if it will be as far South as we are . . . Northern NH is suppose to get snow. Isn't one of your brothers in NH? Where? I keep hearing the geese over head going North. No robins that I have seen but my neighbor saw a bluebird. The snow is melting here and will probably be mostly gone by the weekend.

I bought some kid's bubblers to blow at my cat so he can catch them. I waw it on the pc. He was terrified! Lopez probably would be, too. Not Beau. I wonder about Sushi. How playful is she?
Bunny ears are cutest on bunnies!
Love your inspirational quotes...most remind me of all the teachings of the Law of Attraction...we have the power to imagine it better...if enough of us do...it will be better.
