Signs of Strength-

-It really is a precious Privilege to be alive-and, Spring is on the verge--has already arrived in some areas!
-Spring has sprung--The grass has riz-- I wonder where the Birdies Iz?----  The Bird is on the wing-- But that's absurd-I thought the wing was on the bird!

AND____Robert Browning SAID__

"The year's at the spring--and day's at the morn: Morning's at seven; The hill-side's dew -pearled: The lark's on the wing, The snail's on the thorn; God's in the heaven-------All's right with the world."

Well, it does seem that all is right with the world--- No snow is falling--In fact, it is above zero here-The big melt down has begun, and we have ice everywhere--and I see the snow banks getting lower--  I wonder if I could live AND ENJOY living in a climate without snow?---- Maybe if it would just snow for a month-- NOT 6 mos of the year!---

I did 12 minutes on the Dreadmill this morning--plus a few weights--only 10 lbs --- no back stretches yet--  and Lopez and I must hoof it up the back road-----IN RUNNING SHOES--NOT BOOTS WITH CLEATS---The weather is a-changing!-and--Himself  cannot hear--ANYTHING----  When I came downstairs he was poking his ear which is now bleeding-- I called the "hearing Clinic, who will see him Thursday-If it's not one thing, it's another!

A new day--- We are alive---We live in a "free country"---I mean, what could be better?----

It's all a matter of "attitude"---  a positive  attitude-
We all have a big heart--Never apologize for being sensitive or emotional with people---(which I always do-)-It shows that you are not afraid to show your emotions- -

Showing your emotions is a sign of strength---I used to think I was weak when I cried--- NO____ YOU ARE STRONG!

  2. 12 Minutes! You are doing so well at it - I love how you're adding a minute each day and slowly building yourself up. I sold my treadmill a year or so ago and got a recumbent bike in it's place - it's supposed to be better for the joints, but the rowing machine never hurts my knees like the bike does. Still any kind of moving is good! Once I get over this stupid Covid, I'll go back to walking up and down my driveway. It's not a long one, but if I do a few laps I feel accomplished and it gets me outside in the fresh air. Do you write notes for what you're trying to say to Himself? My older sister lives in a multiple person arrangement - everyone pays their own rent for their room to a company. Sometimes her 'roommates' are hard for her to understand if she doesn't have her 'ears' in - like just after a shower and people get mad at her for her not 'listening' or 'understanding'. It's very frustrating! I'm feeling better tonight than I did this morning, and this morning I woke up being able to breath through my nose and that was a great start to the day! I did have a nap or two today but heck that's sometimes a normal thing for me anyway. I'm still achy but in a manageable way. So it looks like the antiviral meds are working, and that maybe I'll get through this ok. Sure was very scary on the first day with it though. And thank you everyone who worried for me - it's so good to know there are people who care - no matter how far away we all are from each other! ❤️ And Stay Strong!

No, I just yell at Himself---no writing things down-----He is not wearing his hearing aids-- goes to have the Hearing Ladies look into his ears
this week--We always have a nap too- from 12 to 2pm everyday-- I get up at 5-30am tho--so I need that nap-I am happy that you are OK--- Hugs, Lynda-

  3. Glad there is NO snow falling…but be wary of that ice, as you know, it’ll bring you down in half of a heartbeat! 10lb weights…my hat is off to you!! You are one strong lady; must be all of that shoveling! I do good to use 3-4lb weights! Hope Himself doesn’t do anything else to make more work for you today…at least you were able to make an appointment for him. My DH and myself just got over Covid…mild cases, didn’t feel too bad, but we were able to get/take the antiviral med which helped a lot, I guess. Take care and keep that positive attitude!
    Hugs, Eissa7

  5. Yes, signs of Spring all over the place! It’s wonderful.

Oh goodness. Sorry that Himself has yet another bloody ear. Hope the hearing clinic can help! Too bad you have to wait til Thursday, but thankfully he WILL be seen.

I totally agree w/you! Showing your emotions is definitely a sign of strength!

Rejoicing in sunshine, no precipitation, seeing daffodils, tulips, jonquils beginning to poke their way through the ground . . . and listening to the robins and cardinals and sparrows. Uplifting!

Good for you doing the dreadmill and the weights.
