The above is so true ---but--there are days that there is never enough time--When I read the above, it seems crazy that I never get enough done of what I want to do--Maybe it's the good Lord telling me I've done enough for one day--who knows eh?---So, we had a terrible blustery winter storm yesterday- son#2 took the above picture of me out pushing snow-As you can see, the sun finally did come out-I believe it was the very worst snowstorm I have ever seen in this area--wind, rain snow-all happening at once--
Son#1 was just here --ploughing us out AGAIN--Bless his heart eh?--- I better get that applesauce made and get it down to him--He is so good to come--I never even asked him---
Your weather is hard to imagine the beginning of April. Do you think Mother Nature is trying to tell you that it is time to move? Try to relax today and dream about warmer weather when this all melts away. How does Himself handle all the storms and having to stay inside? Take care of both of you and the animals.
ReplyDeleteThis weather is the pits-!--Not typical for April--Himself seems happy inside- because I'm the one out there doing all the work-- LOL-- Lynda
DeleteThe Sun is out here and it looks beautiful but the is a cold North wind blowing so I do not want to be outside. I am going to take DH and the dog for a car ride to pick up some Rxs and an order at Lowes and then run into the grocery for a few things as long as I am in town. DH will stay in the car with the dog since he is still tethered to an O2 tank most of the time. Hoping they get a cancellation at the pulmonologist before May 1. Our snow is still slowly melting and I can see the progress everyday. Glad your storm is over . . . maybe it will be the last one. Fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteIt is snowing here AGAIN------Lordy BE!--So yu have to leave your Himself in the car too?--Sounds like here--Lynda
DeleteLoved the quote about the day going in the way that the corners of your mouth turn! Made me put a smile on my face. My yoga instructor always tell us to smile while we are doing our practice. Also the thought that there are 1,440 minutes in the day gave me pause....I waste many of those minutes scrolling on my computer. I need to get out of my chair and do more of the things that I keep putting off! Here's hoping that your snow melts quickly and some warm weather comes your way soon! Happy Palm Sunday!
ReplyDeleteIt was Palm Sunday-- We used to get a Palm leaf this Sunday--yrs go-----Now get out of that chair--and do the stuff yu put off--LOL--Big hugs--Lynda
DeleteNo more snow for you. You've had quite enough. DONE.
ReplyDeleteDo take it a bit easier today. Play your piano.
Loved the inserts.
Hugs
Margene---- It is snowing AGAIN__ Unbelievable! Lynda
DeleteThat storm was bad! The good part maybe is you don't get hurricanes, tornadoes or floosa?
ReplyDeleteGood day for me, too. With the peace of mind and the new med, I slept great.
A friend made roast chicken and shared. I will have it with taters and gravy and a nuked veggie. Have my fave ice cream for dessert later on.
Let's hope our Monday is even better! {{{HGS}}}
The storm was bad--We both got thru it tho--and yu even hot roast chicken my friend-I'm happy yu got yer new med and yu slept better--Hugs-Lynda--
DeleteGlad the snow finally stopped.Hope it doesn't come back til next year! So son #2 is there? How come he's not helping you shovel. Nice of son #1 helping by plowing the snow. Nice inserts. Tuesday I am going in for spinal cord surgery very early so you may not hear from me for a while. Go play the piano and relax.
ReplyDeleteDear Brenda--Spinal surgery???? I will keep yu in my thoughts --I shall pray for yu--- for Willow too--Yu are one brave soul--Big hugs--- I know yu will do werll-Lynda-
DeleteLynda… I’m so glad you had help with that terrible storm. I’ve been fortunate this year, the snow hasn’t been bad, and what we did have, I had help. We don’t have pets these days, but I have to leave my husband in the car too, as he can’t walk very far. I try to do a lot of online shopping also, but it’s good to get him out for a ride.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Tuesday!
Vicki from MA
Oh I have learned, when I was caring for my parents, there is NO DAY where I will get it all done So, it goes on the next day’s list.
ReplyDeleteOH MY! You have a LOT of snow. That’s saying something if you feel it is the worst storm you have seen in your area. HOPE it settles down. Glad son #1 plowed you out.
LOL! Yes, today I will try to be happier than a bird w/a French fry. That is pretty happy! And right now I see a robin with a mouthful of grass, etc., presumably building a nest somewhere?? Spring . . . slowly it’s coming.
Certainly wishing no more snow for you!
hugs
