This was really a day from hell-- but, I must confess--- people did care-- Son#2 said the cameras were working outside--He called --told me to reboot the computer--so I did that--- but--when I called the internet provider, he had me unplug everything----then replug it all in---still did not work---but--I clicked on the wifi symbol at the top of the screen and it had gone to another thing----I put it back and--VOILA--We are back online-
It was justa terrible storm--- freezing rain--- ALL DAY---- No phone service ALL DAY---
Hopefully things will; return to normal now--I hope! -----
All I want is a warm summer day--
YAY your Back! I wish a warm summer day for you too NOW LOL
ReplyDeleteYou are a patient woman. A lot of futzing around just on the internet situation. Glad you persevered as you were missed.
Relax. Play your piano.

So sorry you have had a day! I've had a week like that so far. It was rainy with storms all day in Ohio and almost 80 degrees. I think you need to visit your daughter. lol Hope we have a better day tomorrow. It is time for me to get labs. I really, really do not like to have that done. I always ask for a butterfly. I am a baby. lol Enjoy your night and have a good day tomorrow. I am cheering for you! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI was worried when you didn't blog today! I kept checking several times today to see if you had blogged. So relieved that you are OK! Bummer that you had to deal with no internet, but so cool that you got it all figured out! "Smarter than the average bear" as Yogi the Bear used to say! I accomplished a challenge too! My ice machine was making too much ice and since it had happened before, and I watched the repairman fix it, I knew what part had to be replaced so I ordered it after I watched a YouTube video. And fixed it myself! Saved the $50 service call, $50 labor fee, and $40 on the new part! (The repairman said the part cost $75 and I only paid $35 for it online!) So I saved myself $140! It did take me several hours and I shed a few frustration tears, but all in all, I felt quite satisfied with my effort! Kept thinking how you keep saying that we women need to be strong....so you were my motivation!
ReplyDeleteI'm selfishly happy that you were so persistent to get online because I'm always concerned when I don't see you blog! And I admire your persistance and can do attitude! Nothing can stop you - I'm convinced of it! The hubs inquired as to how you were doing in the great North today with all that weather - so I'll be happy to report that you had power and heat. Take care, Lynda ... and stay strong! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteGood God, where did my comment go again? Sometimes this site is hard to figure out. I have had more issues, though, trying to blog myself.
ReplyDeleteYou did have a hard day. Think of the saying, though, that the only way to go is up. It must get better, cuz it can't get much worse.
We are alive, have those who love us and that we love, and spring is springing! {{{HUGS}}}
OH my goodness! I am so glad that you got back on line. It is literally a lifeline for you, I know! Glad it worked. Sooooo sorry that it's been such a hellish day.
