Another day--another dollar--

There yu go!----   So, do have a miraculous day.----  Really----This probably happens every day--- the good Lord takes over--but, we aren't aware of it--LOL--

It has been quite a night-- Wee little Lopez, who sleeps in his crate beside my bed, began to whimper at 2am--I looked down, and he was sitting up--I covered him up---and patted his back, and said, "Now go to sleep"-----but---  within a minute, there he was whimpering again--so---- I got up, picked him up, took the other 3 dogs, and out on the front lawn we went--me in my night gown--and he had diarrhea-- like a lot--- and he is a tiny fellow--I found out this morning that Himself was mixing beef in with his kibble- all day yesterday----  He cannot tolerate beef--

3am--it all happened  again--then 5am------  so--not much sleep for me--- and it is Saturday , no vet office open-- -- Lopez  has had one more episode this morning so far--

This was our living room this morning--  kinda cute--- everyone in their beds-- Lopez in our bed-- to-day is a new day ---  Hopefully the good lord will work his magic and make every canine well ---this am---He said  he will  be handling all our problems to-day-- --
I hope your day goes well

  1. Marti here. Been there, done that, with my dog Jake. The vet always tells me feed only rice, with broth, until the diarrhea goes away. So, just today. Usually it goes away the next day, provided your hubby does not do the mixing with beef thing, oh gosh, lol.

You're fortunate that he was in a crate, and let you know! Good doggie!

  3. It's Kathy. I'm so sorry, Lynda. And poor little Lopez. When my Daisy isn't feeling well I cook her some white rice and give her that for a day or so. Seems to help. My daughter also told me that canned pumpkin can help - although her dog was a lot bigger that Lopez. I hope you can get a rest in today! It's another gloomy and cold day here but at least no rain or snow pellets! Daisy says she wants to go out but once she's out there she looks at me like "really, you said it was Spring!" and comes right back in!!! I don't blame her one bit.

    2. Kathy---God will be in charge to-day--I love that too-I did cook a chicken leg with rice this afternoon and he gobbled all that down- Son#3 said to give him a quarter of an immodium in cheese-- and he is still alive so I guess it didn't hurt him.

  4. How smart he is, to let you know, to go out and make that mess. Isn’t that like how it is with kids, too? Sick on a weekend, but the males that make all the rules, don’t want to work on the weekends! This has been going on for a hundred years! More women work, now, but the basic old fashioned thinking about day to day life is the same as it was years ago.
I hope Lopez feels better, after just rice, like in the old days. Poor you, Lynda, expected to care for everyone though!

  5. Rough rough night for you Lynda. Hopefully after some rice and no more beef from himself. Lopez will be fine.
    Hoping YOU get a nap.
Loved the inserts. True...let go and let God.
What a sight with the 5 of you outside..you in your nightgown. Sure hoping you can sleep when pets sleep but anytime works for them. Hoping things straighten out over there.

  7. I hope Lopez is feeling better now and that you will get a good sleep tonight. Not that it was nice to get up at 2 this morning but we must give Lopez credit for knowing enough to take the mess outside. Enjoy your day and relax.

  8. Oh Lynda: been there too. No fun going out in the middle of the night. Hope he’s ok now. I’ve been told to use pure canned pumkin - not pie filling cans. Hope you get a good sleep tonight.

  10. In a rush to get to karaoke, I didn't comment yesterday!
Poor Lopez! Can't Himself remember Lopez' intolerance? Maybe Himself thought he was doing Lopez a favor.
My kitty will only eat chicken food for his wet stuff. He does have salmon in his kibble. Of course, when I open a can of tuna, he is on it!
We had a blast at karaoke! More singers than I have ever seen there at one time. I got in 5 sons, but the deejay didn't have all of them. Imagine, the Grammy song of the year he didn't have (til you can't cody johnson). Do you like country music? I like old standards, show tunes, oldies from the 50s and 60s and classic, too.
The photo of the dogs is precious! I hope you got more sleep at the end of the day, though.
    A new week ahead...let's make it great! {{{HUGS}}}
