The Law of Nature

Good Day to all!----I woke up to snow falling here---  SNOW----  and it is almost MAY---   The weather man was saying that the weird  weather (I want to say "the crappy weather" ) is stuck in a holding pattern--

The "Doggie Day Care" is now closed-- the 2 visitors have gone home----  and it is very quiet here---  I must admit, that I love it!--The 2 visitors were extremely good canines---  I know that  LOLA missed her Mom a lot---

The computer guy is going to come , May 5th-I had to change the date, as Lopez is having "the bathroom runs"---AGAIN--- woke me up twice in the night--  He is a good little guy to get me up--but---  as all that has returned----I believe he must need some kind of antibiotic-I am going down town as soon as I can, to pick up the medicine---

Thank you, to all who are sending a card to my older brother in the home---  I know that he will appreciate it!-- --AND----Son #2, the Pilot, is now in Paris . France-He sent tis picture of the Dreamliner, sitting on the runway in Montreal, loading up to go--It certainly looks like a beautiful plane--He said  they were "Full, Full, Full"--

-I read the below ---and isn't it so true?---  We will never live like we used to--The pandemic has changed our lives forever--and climate change hangs over our heads-- Do any of you wear a mask still?---I do---but------  I sometimes forget to put it on--and I never ever used to forget--

I hope our day is perfectly splendid-- --don't forget that you are a unique person---that you really can do more than you ever thought you could----help others get thru their day--- I know that you will!

  1. Good morning. Can NOT believe you have snow. Enough Already!
    Loved the inserts today.
Sounds like Lopez has something not right. Hoping the antibiotic gets him squared away. Lopez will not miss the dog cousins...especially Lola
That was a lot of work for you. I'm glad they went home.
Is there a zip code kind of thing I need for the card for your brother since I'm sending from the States?
Don't you wish you were going to Paris. Sounds divine.
Enjoy your day. Play the piano.
    Hugs

  2. I've caught an infection from having Covid so will be trying to get some antibiotics so it doesn't get out of hand. Meanwhile, this weekend I've helped two other ladies who like me are widows, and one is a year and a bit into her new role, and other is only a couple of months. In both instances I knew their husbands and these couples were like my own relationship, soulmates. But by helping I'm not really giving advice - how could I? Everyone of us are quite different. But what I can give and give freely is an ear to listen. We ladies didn't choose this role, but like others in our lives, we have to try to be strong and gain strength as we go. So give Himself a hug and let him know you care. ❤️

  3. No worries. You’re allowed to say crappy weather when you’re talking about snow in late April. **SIGH**

Awwww, poor you and poor little Lopez. Hope that the antibiotic helps.

Definitely wear a mask. The virus isn’t done with us, even if we’re ready to be done w/it!

OH for sure, some things will never go back to the way they were, but . . . they go forward to the way that it has to be now. NOT easy!

    2. I’m no longer on spark people. It was a really a good site. Made a lot of friends. So sorry Himself has gotten that horrible disease. My mother had it for a number of years. It’s like you are on a roller coaster up and down it can change in a minute. Stay strong and remember how he use to be and know he is just as frustrated as you are.

  5. Sorry your little guy has the digestive upsets…yes, needs some help. Not surprised about snow, when we lived in the mountains of California, used to snow on Mothers Day, even Memorial Day, we knew it could happen. Mother Nature is on the path! Take care!

  6. Lynda, that last 'poster' is the Law of Attraction! Good attracts more good...always. And the one that says things will never go back to what they were...LOA says life is about "freedom, growth and joy." Things not ever being the same...that's growth. Doesn't seem like it sometimes, though.
In some ways it must be better.
We have that crazy holding weather in place, too. Gosh! It's almost May. Where are the flowers? The tree across the street has a hint of green, but otherwise it still seems like the end of winter here, not past the beginning of spring. Temp is still in the 30sF when I get up. That's barely above freezing.
Your son's airplane is a thing of beauty, that's for sure. I bet he really enjoys his job. Making good money at a job you love is the way it should be. Too many people just take a job to pay the bills when the job is not something they are good at or would really like to do. That's partly their upbringing and partly the job market, I guess.
Happy Lola is with her mom now. I know how hard it was to leave my Lucky kitty last year when my son sent me to Hawaii. Even then, I thought of him every day...often. And when I came home, I couldn't find who had him and where he was! It took a while, and I was very upset.
Let's think of the good stuff, Mag, (and Lynda, too)...our pets, our family, our food, our electronics, even the satisfying feeling of getting chores done. Hmm...better get busy and wash those dishes. Also see if the laundry room is still busy.

  9. It was snowing in Ohio yesterday but it didn't stick. It was really coming down. My niece just got me some chocolate in Paris and sent it with my sister this weekend. It is SO good. I am sure your son will be finding some delicious food! I will be sending your brother a card. I know he will enjoy hearing from others. Oh, poor little Lopez. I hope he feels well soon! Yes, I do still wear a mask. As I was out shopping with my sister this past weekend I found myself talking and almost walking into stores without my mask. I get sidetracked easily. lol
