Greeting from the "Doggie Day Care"---- the parents of the visiting canines are getting ready to return home I hear!
The above is a picture of Lola --who misses her Mom very much--is not eating very well--- and Lopez gets very snarly when I have time to pick her up to cuddle her--
-Speaking of Lopez, he is extremely snarly since all the canine cousins have moved in----So, hopefully life will return to normal by this evening. The "Canine Cousins" will go home to their Mom and Dad--
That is Apollo in the back ground-with Lopez and his leash ---
I continue to talk to my older brother --and he is happy- loving the place in fact-- The staff are very pleasant when I call there and I hear his son has been over to get him out into the real world , for a meal--So far, his phone is not connected--Some of you said yu would send him a "hello card"-- I know he would like that.----
The address is-
Mr Marvin Wallace, Maple Lane, The North Lambton Lodge, 39 Morris St., Forest, Ontario, Canada
This is a picture of him--- quite some time ago--
So, yesterday, the ol' "I Mac " decided to act up as I was downloading a picture-- I called "Apple care" who said I probably had too many pictures on here and suggested I get them onto another hard drive- -SO__- tomorrow a computer guy will be here to help me do that--Don't yu just hate it when the computer begins to act up?--I really need a more powerful I Mac---which is not going to happen till we move--The guy below is me, when I cannot do something-- the Kindle is another problem sometimes--and my life would not go well without that Kindle--
so---- doggie day care --(That is here)-- must sign off and get this body into action--all doggies have been out-- but little Lola needs a cuddle-- and the vacuum man (who is really Himself)-must get moving--
Lord love a Duck! -"There is no rest for the wicked"--(Mom's expression for sure!)
-------The key for this day is to---- BE STRONG---- plough ahead--Never give up--- Smile--WE only can be sure of "To-day"--

Love that last quote! Have a great dat Lynda! Hugs! Dorothy!
ReplyDeleteAww Dorothy--always good to see yer name here--- I am closing my "Doggie Day Care" tonite I hope--- The 2 visitors will go home--LOL-- HBugs --Lynda
DeleteHappy day, Lynda! Your brother is as handsome as you are gorgeous! I told my sister what we were up to with sending him "Hello cards" and she asked for his address so she could find a nice card too. And I will too as I love the surprise a card all the way from Australia can be for people. Tomorrow (Tuesday) is Anzac Day here, and I just couldn't find it in me to do actual work for one day and then have a day off. So I took today and did a bunch of things around the house a bit like Sadie might do at your place. My Sadie hasn't visited in awhile so it was good to get some air cleared and things back in their places. So tomorrow morning I can get up before the dawn and participate in dawn services on the radio, from my driveway - probably in my robe. No one lives across from me besides horses so it won't matter, but attending the service one way or another is important. Remembering those young men from so long ago is important. Hope your day goes very well for you and those Doggy day care parents come to pick up their darlings. ❤️
ReplyDeleteOH---- That is SO SO nice that your sister is going to send Marvin a card--Tell her thank yu--The Dawn services sound wonderful--from yer driveway,---That is so nice!--I hope I can close my Doggie Day Care to-morrow--YU think?-- Lola misses her Mom--is not eating very well----- Bet yu are happy to get out of hospital----- I won't tell Marvin , my brother that yu think he is handsome or he will be right there to visit yu*S*--Big hug to yu-- Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda: I answered yestbut it wasn’t there. Doesn’t work so well using a phone. I would love to send your brother a card but can’t until I get out of hospital & not sure when that will be yet. My legs are very wobbly amongst other things.Lopez is really jealous of having to share you! Hopefully the parents are back tonight & things will go back to normal. Glad you brother is finally settling in to his new home! Brenda
ReplyDeleteHi Brenda-I sure hope that you are doing OK in that hospital--= maybe we all should be sending yu cards!-- -How are yu anyway? -- By the time yu go home, maybe it will be nicer weather--warmer--- It is so cold and wet so far--Big hugs to get yu better--- prayers too--- Love to yu too-Lynda
DeleteThanks Lynda. Yes I’m looking foreword to warm weather!
DeleteI will get a card for you brother, for sure....maybe a 'hello, I'm thinking of you funny one.
ReplyDeleteI need to go out today.
Yes...problems with computers. For a while my new pc's sound was terrible. My speakers are like 15 years old. I bought new ones, and am having trouble connecting them. Then...the sound cleared up with my old speakers! Who knows why this stuff happens.
Lola is precious. I am sure she will be very happy when her mommy comes home.
I have so many books on my kindle...yet when I sit with it, I seem to just play solitaire.
I will get to those books, yet.
Don't work you or Himself too hard, Lynda...remember to do something enjoyable, too. Piano, books...hummingbird watching in a law chair? Cheers to Monday! {{{HUGS}}}
Those Hummingbirds are not here yet-- They must know that our weather is still quite cold!--And that is nice of you to send my brother a card--Thank yu--Son#3 did get out here to pick up their 2 dogs--It seems so quiet now----Yes I am going to sit at the piano for a bit-Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I love the last two quotes. Today I feel like all I can do is crawl - or maybe take a nap! I'm waiting for it to be warm enough for Daisy and I to take a walk and ENJOY it but was just outside. It's cloudy, a little windy and barely 44 degrees. So we picked up the yard a bit and she was in a hurry to get back in the house. The few times we've left Daisy with family for a couple days she refuses to do most everything because she misses me so much! Lola will feel better when her mom and dad come home! I will send a card in a few days to your brother so he doesn't get them all at the same time!
ReplyDeleteKathy-so SO nice of yu to send him a card---I miss his phone calls but eventually he will get a phone-seems to be taking forever tho--Son#3 was out to get Lola and Apollo--It must've been hard on them to watch the poor Lady die-- It is wife's Mom--Sad eh??-- Not the best weather here either-- WE need sun AND WARM Temps-Lynda
DeleteOnce the guests leave, things should return to normal for you. So glad your brother is happy, boy Howdy! So he can be at peace for awhile . Eat hearty!
ReplyDeleteMy brother is OK in the Home-- a miracle--LOL-Lynda
DeleteGlad that doggie day care is DONE. Thats a lot for you. Jealous little Lopez stinker.
ReplyDeleteYour brother is handsome. I will send a card in a few days. Delighted hes settling in.
Computers, electronics...make me want to scream when things go wrong. Hope you get photos squared away.
Freezing temps 32F here this morning. After temps in 80F last week it feels cold. Hummingbirds have arrived in St.Louis, at least one did.
Love the inserts.
Play your piano and relax a bit.
Pilot son off to Paris. What a job.
Hugs
Yes my Doggie Day Care is overt--really too much for me--- but Son#3 was kinda in a pickle--We had light SNOW falling here this AM-- Now Lopez has the bathroom runs AGAIN--- so I have to get meds at the vet ASAP---Seems lots going on--- Nice of you to write a card for an old man--He will appreciate it-Lynda
DeleteOh boy . . . sounds like Lopez likes to be the star of the show. **SIGH**
ReplyDeleteGot the address for your brother. Is there a zip code? Just checking. You can msg. me @
barbjay@sbcglobal.net if you want.
Sorry that your computer is giving you issues, but glad it will get sorted out.
