Oh My---
Isn't it just the best, that we always have a new day?- To-day could never be as mixed up as yesterday was-- (I hope!)-
- This coming weekend is Labour Day weekend--a holiday--- What could be better than that?----Of course-September is around the corner--It is already cooler--only 7 Celsius when I got up this morning, outside--Maybe that will slow down the grass growing--
Yesterday , here, was busy---crazy busy--Not very often, I have had to move a computer--I never dreamt that moving it from one side of the room to the other, would be so complicated----We had to reconnect all the plugs--etc --on another wall---and all was going quite well, until I discovered a phone jack hanging on the book case--and because this internet works from a tower--way down the road, no phone in the house worked--but--the computer did--LOLOL-- And, I hooked that phone jack into every outlet it would fit into--still no phone--and then------the Pilot son called on my cell--and--Voila----He knew exactly that the phone jack had to go into the "Vianet box"--to connect to the tower down the road-- we have "voice over internet"--- for our home phone--
To-day Himself goes to Day Care-- and after I get him there, I will get some groceries--then pick him up before noon--He hasn't objected to going this morning so far--(He did last night)_so I guess it's "a go"
The Grandson might be out this afternoon to cut grass--On top of all the chaos yesterday, I did manage to Weed Whack the Lakeside, ready for him--totally insane! ---
Hopefully your day goes well--and if you see it is going downhill, just keep your chin up, and believe that you are strong ---and that you can do almost everything you set your mind to --Remember too---that there are people out there who can help you -Lord Love a Duck!--Pilots are very knowledgeable----LOL----
-Not everyday is difficult---Mom used to say, "The good Lord helps those who help themselves!"---- She must be reading this as I type--- and she just ran that thru my brain here--

Good morning, Lynda! I am happy all the technical difficulties came together for you yesterday! I hope himself will enjoy the Lodge this morning and you can get your errands done. I am going for paint to do my laundry room. It is 56 this morning in Ohio. A great day to open windows while I paint. For now, I need to get to the kitchen for coffee! Lol Have a lovely day! Hugs!

DeleteCooler here today too! Had a very rainy day and evening Saturday and it brought in a relief from the extremely hot temps we were experiencing. I will need to cut the grass today as my grandson who usually cuts it is back in school and has soccer games or practice after school....so it is now just me left to cut those 4+ acres. It is still too wet this morning, but around noon I will put the headphones on and enjoy some music or maybe a "decluttering" podcast. It takes me 3 1/2 to 4 hours to get it done. I am just thankful that I can still do it! Hope your grass gets cut today too!

DeleteIt's Kathy. We had a lovely weekend but now it's warming up again - into the 90's by the weekend. I'm so ready for fall! I hope today goes well. I'm off shortly for my Pilates class - but I'd really rather be taking a nap!!!

DeleteIt does sound busy at your house! Now you are back in communication on your phone and computer! What would we do without them? Write letters? Sure, but that takes so long to be delivered to the recipient!
ReplyDeleteSo happy that you have son/grandson, day care etc. to help. With a property and house the size of yours, you really need it.
Finally met my daughter for lunch for our birthdays. She loved her gifts and paid for our entire meal. Now I'm stuffed. Having spent some time with Lucky after getting home, I am indulging in a nap!
Can't wait to find out tomorrow how day care and your errands went.

Pilots are pretty smart eh?--Imagine that he knew how to fix the phones!--He always has been computer literate--set up all the came here in the house--also--If yu ever are having computer trouble --and yu are in an airport--ask a Pilot-- LOL--=Lynda

DeleteI know it would be very tempting to have Himself go more than one day since he likes it so much. However, besides the expense, would the "newness" wear off too fast? As it is, he has to wait so long that he really appreciates going but if it was more often he might get tired of it. Not sure I would rock the boat by going much more often!! Been car shopping today since I have trouble getting out of this sedan. What a pain and confusion that is. Have a great afternoon and night and don't overdo the work outside. D
